I am from Saudi Arabia and have traveled to China 19 times because I love the atmosphere and positive vibes. I have explored most regions of China and have had almost no issues during my visits. However, I have encountered some frustrating experiences in EU airports, specifically in the Czech Republic, Germany, and France, where I faced long wait times. Despite repeated occurrences, I couldn't discern any logical reasons for such delays.
China is not what you think it is. Some visit just one or more cities of china and say it’s very bad, but actually some places in china are REALLY good and some are not, so you can’t just say the WHOLE country is bad

I had been to China twice, the western credits card wont work there, neither your email or any western app, unless you go prepare with a real vpn. The electrical outlets are not the same. Taxi driver or street people many can’t communicate in English. And if you are buying knockoffs be ready to bargain. These are reasons which deter some travellers.
True. Even I worked in China for 9 years, returned to Hong Kong due to Covid till now, I didn't travel to mainland China again due to those annoying QR codes and quarantine. China is the only country which still carries out Covid quarantines at the airport or borders.

Shenzhen is like another silicon valley that created tech giants like Tiktok and Tencent. They have the second largest economy and most likely be the largest in a few years. Thailand is still a third world country that relies on China to build its infrastructure its not even close.
You forgot about the self registration process when you arrive at the airport. And afterwards you have to fill out a certain paper where you state the reason of your trip to China. It was very interesting and well organised whwn I was there.
