The biggest issue I have with the conspiracy rhetoric, is the prosecutor called some 65-68 witnesses to corroborate, at least some part of the narrative they were pushing. That’s a lot of people. There is that saying, “Two people can keep a secret, if one of them is no longer alive....” for a reason and that is, human’s like to talk, the bigger the secret, the more they eventually feel the urge to tell it. I just find it difficult to believe, that all those needed to agree to conspire totally false charges against MS Read - that not even one person involved, over the past two years, has ever got wasted or had some cozy pillow talk after some late night lovin’ and spoke even a word about their knowledge or involvement. It just seems so improbable to me. On the other hand, Proctor is scum walking in a suit and you can’t trust a word he utters. So yeah, lol, I am still struggling to a clear path on guilt or not....

Ummm.... Proctor didn't "allegedly" say those things about Karen Read. Proctor texted those statements & admitted it on the stand, so stop with the "allegedly".

Although he said these things via text message, these programmes have to use the word "allegedly" to avoid possibly being sued by the person they are discussing. This is especially true during a trial. Now after the trial of Karen Read and after his own trial for corruption in the future, they can stop using that word.
I hate when they do that because that man took an oath in court and said all those things so why is anything alleged.

Proctor was biased from the start
Procter is just a distraction like Mark Furman. The fact of the matter is karen was obsessed with John and, in a jealous rage, killed him. All the evidence points to karen. Theories should not have any bearing on the truth and Karen's confession prooves she hit John.
That's why he was put on the case

He knew who did it & knew he needed to cover up Higgins & Alberts relationship.
Not according to the testimony. When Proctor texted those things, it was 16 hours after they found John. They already had Karen's confession from 5 witnesses, the people in the house said John never entered, they found the glass and some plastic near the body, and they had her car and phone. Game over. The rest of the evidence that came later was just icing on the cake.

Both the prosecutions and the defense medical witnesses say that the victim’s injuries does not come from being hit by a car. Not the injuries to his head and not the injuries on his arm. Several witnesses also say he would not have been able to retain the injuries to his head by hitting his head on gras (even if there was is and snow) witnesses also say that the victim would have been unconscious after the injury to the back of his head. So if he hit his head on asphalt or concrete… how was he found on grass. If his body was still warm when his body was at the place he was found, why wasn’t the snow melted under him?
What is alledged for Proctor’s comments, he admitted to them all.
They wanted to blame it on the plow guy but since Karen Reed was out looking for him, they decided to pin it on her instead… (from what I heard)

The alleged "I hit him, I hit him" was fairly well debunked by defense during cross exam of the individual who made the original claim. Karen Read allegedly said "I hope I didn't hit him."
Yes, the paramedic Anthony fell apart before our very eyes.
Or it was said like (after being put into her head) I HIT HIM?! I HIT HIM?! I HITI HIM?!…. Or wait wasn’t it originally only 3 I hit hims? She drops him off and leaves, it’s natural after it being brought up, that she thought she maybe did hit him. Tons of reasonable doubt in the case, but the only credible experts to me said there’s no way his body was even hit by a car period. I have absolutely no idea what happened to him. And that’s the point. It seems no one can definitively say how he actually died. Cover up or not. Reasonable doubt.
@@RavenTheRiverRunneryes, very natural for that to be one of the first theories/first thoughts when you’re looking for your boyfriend, he’s essentially missing, and then you find him laying in the snow not too far from the place where you dropped him off several hours before and last saw him. And then you have Jen McCabe telling you that she never saw John and he never made it into the house. So it would be natural to think “omg, did I hit him when I was leaving?!” at that time, especially when you’re very short on sleep, confused, and extremely emotional and distraught.
But then I’m sure as the day went on and Karen had time to calm down a little and a little time to think things over, and as more details came out about his injuries, I’m sure then she realized “wait, there’s no way that’s from me hitting him. It doesn’t add up.”

Here in Texas the body belongs to the ME and the investigating officers can’t touch it until that person gets there at the scene.
And in our great state, if the Manner of Death is UNDETERMINED then the DA CAN NOT file charges- regardless of the evidence! God Bless Texas
He wasn't dead yet, though. EMTs worked on him and transported him to the ER. Not quite the same thing.
@@JayeEllis he had no heart beat. EMTs never restored his heart. He was dead in the ambulance. When someone dies outside in below freezing temperatures, EMTs said they have to continue “life support measures” on the way to hospital, where the ER Dr determines the time of death. I have heard many trauma RNs say “they aren’t dead until they are warm and dead. They were unable to raise his internal body temperature, meaning that he was already dead when EMTs got there. He was never breathing, never had a heart beat, when he was found in the yard, or on the way to the hospital.

I'm so sick of this trial. I was sick of the judge sustaining ridiculous objections all-day-long. I'm sick of the animosity between Reed supporters not giving an inch and pro police-never-do-wrong people, neither having an open mind or emotional intelligence. I' m sick of the dog bite deniers. I'm sick that this case was ever brought before a jury, and I'm terrified the jury might get it wrong.

I agree. I mean, the defense got to ask the questions, so the jury heard, but Aunt Bev rarely let anyone answer. Unless it was a, “I’ll give them that” like she was doing them a favor. Unbelievable. I struggled to watch simply because it would irritate me so much. And the jury is still out on Thursday night. I can’t imagine a guilty verdict and the injustice and wrongful conviction it will cause. I’m worried.
Something went wrong in the house where John was killed by his own colleagues. He was attacked by the k9 in that home. His colleagues placed him in the snow to die. Karen frantically calls John. Where John was laid strategically in the pathway, perhaps hoping a snow plough truck would hit him. Unfortunately Karen appeared - she thinks she hits him when she discovered it was John. She may have been intoxicated driving, but she certainly didn't kill this man. One or more of his colleagues did kill him in that house! Allow John's family the truth.

How was she logged onto the wifi at 12:36 and hitting him with the car at 12:40?. Why did the prosecution move the timeline?. @milart12
@@w.s3602 There was never any evidence that Read hit O Keefe at 12:40. Lally did mention in his opening statement that the accident happened at "around" 12:45, a serious tactical error. But opening statements are not evidence.
@milart12 I don't think a vehicle hit him, but I also don't believe he went inside. I'm thinking the theory of JO throwing the glass at the car in anger is plausible and it matches the physical damage to the car based on the Feds Reconstruction Experts.
@@milart12 You must have missed the testimony from the tech experts about the 3 different types of clocks in the device, one being 3 minutes different from the others.
The prosecution with all their keystroke evidence proved that the car was in their possession when the car did a 24 mile an hour back up.

The key cycle evidence left out any time for driving the car back to OKeefes, over to Jen or Kerry’s, back to OKeefes, back to her parents and pulling it out of the driveway to put on the Towtruck, and driving it off the tow truck and into the yllas trop, at least once. The key cycles were not timed like a phone call. Trooper P just decided that the 24mph in reverse was the “strike” , perhaps because the key cycle spoke to him🤡🤡🤡

This guy is a joke,Johns body was found on the Alberts lawn and he says he wouldn't have searched their house either. The Fact A body was found on their lawn would have been enough to get a warrant,period or does that only apply to people who aren't cops,us peons. Ask yourself if a body was found on your lawn if your local police would get a warrant or ask to search your house-Of course they would.
That would depend on the circumstances. The cops knew he was there for an "after party". He wasn't just a random guy that no one knew.
1 & 1/2 years ago a man died on my front lawn. They did not search my house. They processed the scene & it took hours. That happened in a teeny Tiny town in Missouri pop. 16k(I no longer live there). So I agree that it truly depends. The deceased man on my lawn was actually parked there because moments before he was chopping wood in mu backyard & was waiting for his partner to come out (of my house) with their pay. Definitely depends.

I don’t know what happened to John O’Keefe, but what I do know, is that there’s NO WAY that Michael Proctor could have had the case all solved and wrapped up by the end of the first day!
Because the rest of us have listened in on WEEKS of a detailed trial now, and we still don’t know for sure what happened to him. But we did learn that:
1. he was not hit by a car
2. he was bit by a dog
But we’re supposed to believe that this case was properly handled and correctly solved, when no one on the investigation team figured out those two things?!
There’s a BIG difference in solving a case based on “let me start with the facts and see where they lead me” vs. “let me start with the assumption that a certain person did this and then let me see what facts I can find that will lead to that person and that person only”.
John's DNA on the taillight with "2 unknown DNA" should be tested for the DNA of Michael Procter and all the officers and detectives.
And the people at the party. The homeowner and his friends.

John O'Keefe Was invited to the house where he ended up dead or dying on the lawn outside the house, that would get the investigators into the house to conduct a search.
How is it possible to get hit and only your arm and go 30 feet through the air or on the ground and not get a bunch of bruises go out and try it figure it out. How does a broken tail light that is 6 inches across make scratches over a 12 inch area if you scrape your fingers across your belly and make scratches are there any scratches for inches away from your outside? Fingers don’t think so. Liar Lalley said in closing that his arm was folded and then nobody said, his arm was out except for expert, Paul said it was out multiple times sometimes even holding the glass that got in the yard. He doesn’t know how it just got there.Lally says the arm was folded at the elbow so now hold your elbow. Take your other hand big scratches from your bicep down across your arm John now open your elbow like in the picture all the scratches go in the same direction but the scratches on your arm now go in two directions how is it possible.

They don't even have the option to check off "NOT GUILTY" on the verdict form in Massachusetts, as was pointed out on Wednesday by the defense!!! What kind of place is that area around Canton, Mass?
The judge first said the verdict form would stay as it has always been and then reversed herself and added the "not guilty" option to the form and instructed the jury about the change! Geez louise! On the top count too!
@@j.taylor3670 Not exactly right. There was a non-guilty option on each of the main chargers, but not below on the secondary charges. The judge said that in those cases, the absence of a check mark indicates not guilty....which is absolutely ridiculous.

Seal records. Basically what you see here. Worst I've seen ever, was attempt to seal a capital murder case like it was an adoption record. The trial is a clown show with the exception of the defense. They know each other. Warrants get approved by judges. Lawyers make campaign contributions to judges. Depending on the person integrity, or lack of... Generally determines what circle they run in. I think this circle is a warped square.... Of corrupt individuals.
The Alberts got rid of their dog, replaced part of basement floor (nit sure if that’s true though) , sold their house, got rid of phones, googled how long to die in the cold, calling JO’s phone multiple times, yet leaving no voice mails, & offering Proctor a gift. None of them went to JO’s funeral. What is taking the jurors so long?
I think what is taking so long is even if everything happened in the home she could have probably hit him prior and then he probably entered the house for assistance told them she probably rammed him and they told him of the texts and the fight ensued and the dog attacked etc…

Proctor is the Mark Fuhrman of this case. Even if Karen is guilty (if... totally not saying she is or isn't), he's proved himself untrustworthy, and his investigation, therefore, is untrustworthy.
He's wrong again. There IS evidence already shaping the investigation. The victim had an invite to that house. He was dropped off at that house. His body was found on the homeowner's property within hours of that invite. Get a subpoena when evidence steered you that way? Sure. But the logical first step would be to ask the homeowner if the investigator can look around the house and property and immediately commence with interviews on the scene INCLUDING the homeowners. Whoops. That's a problem. The homeowner refused to come out. Remember - the patriarch homeowner was interviewed OFF PROPERTY at his sister-in-law's house day (days?) AFTER the discovery of the body. Any seasoned law enforcement official would have his ears perk up, but not Proctor, Tully, and the rest. ANY competent law enforcement official would have his or her 6th sense kicking in when it seemed clear - right out of the starting gate - that the witnesses (and their handlers) were trying to make the ass fit the seat...at all costs.

At 12:30am there was a light coating of SNow on the street, which ifff she struck him around that time, that body wouldve been noticable byy far, by anyone coming in or out from that house... John wouldve either crawl, yell, made some sort of movements.... and if she did it, anyone from that house as a friend they portraied to be to john, wouldve assisted that body immediately.......... period
Karen initially told ppl she last saw John at the Waterfall, but then when told she had been seen outside Fairview, she changed her story, now saying, not only had she dropped John off at the house, she now remembers him walking up the driveway! Proctor knew there was a conflict of interest and should have raised it at the time. I’ve never taken a job with anyone I knew personally and our supervisors have never had a problem with that. They’d much rather it was above aboard and professional and impartial than lose a case due to what Proctor did. And no colleagues would respect another officer after what Proctor was found to have text and left the Albert’s name out of things. He’s breached every ethical standard the police are held to. He doesn’t know the word impartiality he had charged and convicted her before he’d even looked at any evidence or anyone else. I hope he’s taken off front line duties after this.
Proctor misspelled addresses, names, and telephone numbers of his friends on the reports so they wouldn't show up in the state computer system, reports were not signed by witnesses and interviews were not recorded
