Let’s say she did it! Why did they get rid of the dog? Why did they get rid of their phones? Why did they sell their house? Why didn’t they come out of their house at any point when all this was going on? Why did the prosecutors present the car in the garage backwards? It’s not logical. Where are the bruises on his lower body?

I watched the entire trial here from Portugal, where I just saw this interview. It baffles me how this family refuses to understand what was shown to them, and to us, during the circus that was the trial. They don't have to believe in a conspiracy, but they could and should look at the evidence. They could think 'if it wasn't her, who was it?' and focus on finding an answer to what really matters.

@imblfs ; I too watched the entire trial. Plus a year or more of pre trial footage. Including her million dollar pr campaign. If KR saying the might have hit him but it was an accident, her DAD getting on TV & saying “ Karen thought she hit something but didn’t know what it was “. So many things not shown in trial. Why would ten different govt’ organizations all gang up and conspire on some rich white lady ?! They did not, she hit him, and that’s the only thing that makes sense. Just lk OJ paid millions to murder 2 ppl and get away with it, so too will KR get away with it. NOT bc she’s innocent, she’s clearly guilty of hitting him. Deliberate homicide I don’t think that was proven. But what was proven was she hit him and then immediately covered it up instead of getting him help. Point proven by her ERASING 13 ring videos in front of his niece and nephew!

He won’t and he never will badmouth the police because his brother was a Boston cop for 16 years this man believes he’s supporting the thin blue line and his close friends that he and John grew up with but in truth Karen was framed by the McCabes in the Alberts via proctor and bukkake or whatever his name is
He simply could not and cannot accept the idea that these people who supposedly love him and loved John and their family would kill John purposely or not and then have Other police officers tamper with evidence to frame someone. He knows that John would never do something like that so he can’t believe that any other cops would either because we’re all trained from the time we’re babies the cops are the good guys here to protect and serve and John O’Keefe was😢

  • @josiemiller6524

This interview really aggravated me. He’s basing his conclusion on feelings and emotions and has allowed Jenn McCabe and o manipulate his perspective. The fact that he said “Proctor has had his life turned upside down because of this” as if he’s blaming Karen for that - that just shocked me!! He literally said “no one was ever supposed to see those text messages” so somehow he’s a victim because the FBI got involved???? He’s saying “the FBI only got cherry picked evidence from the defense” when in reality the FBI got the evidence that the police and commonwealth collected!!! They asked the reconstructionist to put the exact theory that Lally claims happened to the test, which is exactly what they did!! Their findings were VERY clear - John DID NOT get hit by Karen’s car! Why doesn’t he do an interview without “cherry picking” the questions?!?! I’d love to hear what he has to say about the evidence that came in due to the FBI investigation. Honestly, Paul made it seem like even the FBI was somehow siding with Karen all because she has the “showboat defense attorney”. Maybe he should really listen to the people of canton. He seems to think they are supporting Karen just because Aiden Kearny made a big deal about things. The reality is Karen has the supporters she has because the people from that area are sick and tired of the dirty and corrupt cops and what they get away with. Like most of them say “Karen could be any one of us”. Her supporters are there because she is FINALLY exposing the corruption. There’s finally a spotlight on it and the dirty cops may actually have to FINALLY suffer some consequences!!! It really disgusts me that the McAlberts have been able to manipulate him and his mother and that they can’t see what REALLY happened. He said he reached out to Levy, I hope he gets back to Paul and tells him the TRUTH. It’s clear Paul has blinders on - the fact that he said the FBI should have never been involved, Josh Levy should have nothing to do with this case……the O’Keefe’s should be OUTRAGED at Proctor and everyone else who dropped the ball on the investigation of his brothers murder. The sloppy way they handled everything for a “brother in blue” is a disgrace. The fact that Paul doesn’t seem to see an issue with any of that, it speaks volumes to me.

    • @delta3244
      @delta3244 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +16

Small note, I don't think the FBI reconstructionists were hired to evaluate Lally/Trooper Paul's theory. I think they were hired as a control group, so to speak, to show what a proper attempt at reconstruction would look like. That way there would be no bias from them knowing that the FBI was investigating a particular thing. The reason I believe this is because they weren't given a theory, they were only given evidence, and they were allowed to go down the "glass thrown at tail light" route despite it not having much relevance (as far as I can see).

I didn't pay any attention to this case until the trial started. Then, I listened to the evidence. As every day passed, I was more convinced that nothing showed that Karen had killed John, even by accident. I don't know who did, but I have to say that the way John's friends acted was bizarre and was never explained. Everything about the evidence collection was so amateure you would believe they never watched a "cop" show. Kids know correct evidence collection better than this. Then the dog, going up and down stairs, rehoming the dog, selling the house,?!? Then, the incompetence of the state police. I was shocked that they even brought the case.
I feel very sorry for John's family. Their story is tragic, but it doesn't take a "conspiracy theory" to know that Karen is innocent. If they are not open to all evidence they will never find peace. I do think it was not a good move for Karen to go anywhere near John's family after the end of the trial, and it would be strange for her to look at them. Why would anyone discount a legal reason for the change of courtroom? Paul sounded like they didn't come to find justice, but only for Karen to be convicted no matter what the evidence. For me, the prosecution case was not credible.
I have lived in several states, including Massachusetts, and would not ever live there again. It matters very much where you live. New England is very beautiful, but it is the most closed and clannish place I have ever lived. If you are from somewhere else you will never be accepted. People there will believe their friends to the end, so the verdict and John's family's reaction did not surprise me at all. Even the brother making excuses for Procter and the deficiencies in the case is not surprising for that culture. Karen was an outsider, so no allowance would ever be given to her. If she had married John she would always be the outsider. It's a different world. Even if she is eventually found not guilty, Karen will have to move out of New England to live a normal life. I feel very sorry for all of them.

That is evil and everyone with a brain knows Karen didn’t hit him and all the other evidence all says she doesn’t do it. All of the quality non biased and objective facts all greatly support Karen. Yet all the other witnesses literally always selectively forgot anything that could benefit Karen or anything, it’s almost like they weren’t being honest and weren’t even willing to accept any fact even if true if it makes her look less guilty. She physically couldn’t have done it and the evidence was definitive and all encompassing by any physical and mechanical facts. There's nothing that Paul can say thats going to change my mind on if Karen did it. The Feds said that John's injuries were not from being hit by a car and the damages to Karen's car were not from hitting John.
The main people did in fact lie. He IS hanging out with the people who are likely the ones who murdered his brother.
I feel bad for them but they don't want the truth. They want Karen to be the one who did it and goes to jail while the real killers go free and hug Paul O'Keefe. I doubt this case will be taken to court again.
I went into this blind. I had no opinion on anything because I hadn't heard of the case before trial day 1. I was ready to watch her be guilty. That changed to a solid not guilty.
Kerry also said it wasn’t Karen's idea to go to 34f it was Jennifer McCabe's idea to go there. Jennifer demanded that they go there. That 2:27am Google search.. why if she didn't know. I've never said anything bad about any of these people but something happened in that house or at that house and every step they took makes them look guilty.
He is absolutely ignoring the FBI experts because of his anger and not wanting to believe that his friends killed his brother, it's easier to pin it on the girl, the outsider.

But I will say, by the end of this interview, I felt he was being their mouthpiece and was prepped for this interview. They can believe that Karen in guilty, but also acknowledge that Proctor was out of line and that the investigation, especially collecting blood evidence in solo cups, was unacceptable. The fact he saw no issues with any of that makes it clear that they would never be open minded to any other possibility than Karen being responsible.

But the family made up there mind then because she wasn’t talking, surely after 2 great loses they would know about shock & everyone grieves differently (ie disassociating/shut down - that’s what I do😞), plus she was very unwell at the time as stated in evidence (her & Johns texts), maybe she was upstairs on the toilet 🤷‍♀️. But he was confused and it was obvious he was very unwell. We just had no idea how badly. We thought there was no harm in allowing him to wait, and not stress him further. I still feel guilt and responsibility years on for not pushing harder. Of course, objectively it is not my fault. In retrospect it was obvious to see how bad things were. But at the time, it truly seemed that we would be able to get him into hospital and be treated. I'm sorry for the rambling answer. My point is, even if it isn't rational at all, it is totally possible to feel responsible even if you absolutely are not.

One thing you learn about death is everyone grieves in different ways. Karen's relationship with john had been strained for a while and she was probably going to leave him soon anyways, his untimely death likely accelerated the death of their relationship. Her desire to distance herself from the family and john was likely already well established before the death. Voicing that desire might have been poor timing but again grief affects everyone differently. he see's her desire to leave as a sign she was running but it could be that she just wanted to be alone to grieve. They're not her family, they're his, so she may not have wanted to grieve with them. Who knows how they were going to grieve with her there, they might have taken their feelings out on her. As he clearly stated he suspected her right away without any evidence.

This interview was done so poorly. The reporter calling people “the people in pink” is so dismissive and disrespectful (goes with how unprofessional people are in that town). In addition, the way he protects Proctor and how the FBI should’ve never been involved, shows me and only proves the conspiracy. To protect the lead investigator who did things so wrongly, as to collect evidence in a red solo cup, is unbelievable to me, because he ruined the case from the get go! Proctor ruined the justice that JO deserves. I completely understand their anger but their anger should be towards the people who botched the whole investigation, and to excuse his unprofessionalism and to say he should’ve never been investigated just shows how it’s okay to protect your own as long as it gets the results you want. I feel for the family of JO, I understand their anger, but their anger is misleading them and so are his small core group who only tell them what they want to hear, it’s not healthy. They need to take a note of what they said that it’s about John and finding him justice and with that you need to be open minded, truly look at the evidence, forget what your core group of “friends” tell you and truly find the justice for his brother, if that then leads them to Karen Read then okay, but I don’t believe they have done that.
