    Killer man. So rare to find anyone addressing the Bank 1 sensor 1 on a v6. I like accessing it from the top vs. bottom. No room from under seems way better from above. Thanks many thanks!

    I took out Bank 1 sensor 1 from the top also. Unplugging the connector was the hardest part. Warm engine helps and put a little brake fluid on the threads while I used an O2 socket like you have. Denso replacement from rock auto air fuel sensor.

    Great video, thank you, sir!
    Just one question, please: Is it recommended to replace the pair at the same time, front/left and rear/right upstream oxygen sensors, if one has gone bad?
    On my 99 Avalon XLS, I got a P0135 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit, Bank 1 Sensor 1) , so I checked the black (same color) wire connectors for both: the front/Left is within spec at 13.1 ohm, but the rear/Right is OL. Just thinking I better replace both together so that their response speed is matched and in balance?

    • @RBTheMechanic
      @RBTheMechanic  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think that would be good idea for best performance but I never changed both together

    I have a 2000 Toyota Camry 2.2L. I have P0172 and P0420 . What can it be? They both came in at the same time

    • @RBTheMechanic
      @RBTheMechanic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      P0172 is code for car rubing rich it could be bad oxygen sensor upstream it also could be dirty clogged air filter maf sensor those are start basics and p0420 is for catalytic but before replacing catalytic u might want to replace both oxygen sensors and reset the light
