Totally agree, 17 sprays is too much. CurlyFragrance recommends 16 so 17 is overkill.
Curly fragrance is not buying her fragrances so she can spray away, me on the other hand, has to pay , so I spray according to my bank account, and I'm on a budget.

Dude seriously when I saw that video I was like what the fuuuuuuuuuuu. She’s trippin. Obviously when you smell fragrances on yourself you become nose blind and you’re like how strong do I actually smell ?? But smelling fragrances on my girlfriend changed my thoughts because she can do two sprays of intense cafe and it’s plenty. You can smell her whenever she gets close. Perfect scent bubble and lasts all day. So I can’t even fathom what 10 or more sprays of that would be. Like what kind of nonsensical advice is she trying to give to people. And the comments were FILLED with people saying oh yea me too I always overspray. Smh nightmare fuel. But on the other side of things I used to wear sauvage and only go one or two sprays at most but I had a friend who would go 4 or 5 sprays and I was like OMG THATS TOO MUCH but when I was around him he smelt great n it wasn’t too much. So idk a good medium is always nice

Two sprays of Bleu de Chanel is like not putting anything on at all. And longevity is not the problem. Projection is the problem. Most fragrances today project decently for half hour then it’s skin scent city
For Blue de Chanel he sugested to apply four sprays, not two.
Bdc is watered down garbage. Totally ruined. I had the edt when it came out I. 2010. And it performed very well. Now I would not take it for free

My regular spraying routine is on either side of the neck, 2 sprays on each chest under the shirt, and one on the back of my neck. If it's a Beastmode fragrance like Spicebomb Extreme, I usually do each side of the neck and one spray in the middle of my chest under the shirt, maybe one in the back of the neck. For weaker projecting scents like La Nuit De L'homme or The One EDP, I go super liberal with the sprays.
I have a five spray routine on the skin only, and I do reapply after every 3 hours.. but I go for (3/2/1 depending on the strength) sprays, mostly on the back to keep it away and enjoy the dry down as well) whenever I reapply. Thus, it balances out everything.. I have never had issues with longevity, silage, and performance- no matter how weak the perfume is!

One dab of vaseline (petroleum jelly) on my finger (not a glob) and applied behind both ears like moisturizer and The ONE EDP last 7 hours on my skin. Without that The ONE is long gone by the time the popcorn comes out the microwave on date night.

I'm an ordinary and a simple person and thanks for this video. Now I know how to apply perfume and some hacks to prolong the essence smell of a perfume. I usually use a baby cologne which is very affordable here in my country. I'm so glad that even I can't afford to buy genuine perfume at least Im educated now how to use it properly. Perfumes here are very expensive that's why Im always wishing that some one could give me a perfume as gift. Thanks for educating me. :)
Since I wear long sleeve shirts most days I usually go with 6 sprays: 1 on each side of the front of neck, 1 on back of neck, 1 on each wrist, 1 on chest just for good measure.
I do 7 one behind my nick 2 on my shoulders 2 on my biceps and 2 on my wrist, i try to keep it away from my nose and its better for projection 😎

You make a great point...”noise” or environment i end up wearing my fragrance at makes all the difference on application. Plus performance of whatever scent i wear. I wore Bentley FMI just around the house put 4 sprays on and my wife and daughter choked to death 🤣🤣🤣 but I generally do the “jeremy” technique, 5 sprays on most frags and if they’re weaker performing a little extra on my clothing

You’re right dude, every routine is personal. First of all: skins are all different, there’s no “right number” of sprays. You need to find the right measure for yourself. I usually spray 20+ cause my skin is super dry and only a few fragrance will have good performances (like Megamare) and I won’t intoxicate nobody. Furthermore, perfume is mainly for you and then for other people: if you want to be noticed you can overspray (depending on the context), otherwise you can decide to be the one with a skin scent. @@animegundam79rsr16 going noseblind is not about not being able to smell other fragrances, it’s about not being able to smell your own fragrance. Also what fragrance are you using? It sounds like maybe you’re using a watered down fake one.
1- take a shower.
2- moisturize spots where you will apply fragrance.
3- get 5ML decans, order from aliexpress/ebay/amazon, in this way u can bring decan with you and reapply fragrance.
4- Layer your fragrances with iso e super or ambroxan, i usually mix la nuit de l'homme edt 10+ sprays + 2 sprays of ambroxan = makes la nuit last longer.
There is only 1 hack and it's the most simple one there is. Just double spray on the exact same spot.

Thanks for the video. I've been trying a lot of different fragrances recently, and in various strengths. Unfortunately they all seem to be skin scents after about 3 hours. Hoping I can get that to around 5 or so. The moisturising and clothes slray solutions make sense, hopefully they'll help

Hey, interesting video!!! I live in Ireland, and worked in a fragrance factory here for 25 years which made a lot of the nine fragrances both household (Like ALL of the big household names!!! soaps, detergents, air fresheners, household fragrances}, to the very expensive "personal" fragrances. Our company made fragrances for Clinique, Givaunchy, Loreal, Estee Lauder, YSL, Chanel, Dior (and many more) as well as a lot of the "celebrity" fragrances ie: J Lo, Kylie, David Beckham etc. may i ask if you could give a link to the "atomiser" please, as I have previously purchased some, but they inherently leak everywhere and simply waste money!!!!!

Regarding the moisturiser hack, doesn't the fragrance of the moisturiser interfere with the perfume? Or do you use un-scented moisturisers for it?
You want to use an unscented moisturizer. Also, apply your fragrance a few minutes after putting on the moisturizer.
Unscented. Or you can use a lotion with a scent that complements and/or reinforces the scent of your perfume, that's what I do sometimes.
I applay 2 on neck side by side cover whole neck area by srying twice. And then 2 on hands 2 on palms and one on chest
What is the best spray distance for projection? When spraying fragrances on skin, especially the wrist, I usually spray 6 inches and the fragrance usually leaves an oily film on the skin (Most of my fragrances are EDP or Parfum concentrations). After the top notes dissipate, the fragrance feels muted and doesn’t project as well. Does Having oily skin help with longevity, but hamper projection? How can I apply EDP and Parfum fragrances with improved projection?

I like the moisturizing tip and makes a lot of sense, but I always worry the scent of the lotion will conflict with the fragrance itself, even "neutral" lotions/moisturizers. I guess apply the lotion and wait several minutes or something.

For medium performing scents I have a 7 spray routine. One on each wrist, three on the neck, one spray on each clavicle. For stronger fragrances I might do 4-5 sprays, wrists, neck.

To limit myself on buying, I've been trying to get the strongest and longest performers I can to get my money's worth! Is Versace Eros Flame a good example of a strong one? It's my favorite do far! Also, what are some good recommendations based off that being the favorite? :)

Smart, I do the same. Who the fuck wants to carry around on atomizers right? I'll give you a few suggestions that are all good performers in which you'll only need 1 or 2 sprays that'll last all day. Skip Eros Flame, that's a rookie scent.
Anyhow, a few suggestions that are well-worth it's price tag.

If you'd like an even cheaper option then you should checkout a clone house called Alexandria Fragrances, they do pretty accurate clones of some of the best frags on the market in an extrait parfum concentration (highest concentration) for a fraction of the price in most cases.

When applying fragrances at a distance of 4-6 inches (every atomizer seems to be different) should you move the atomizer across the skin in a sweeping motion or keep the atomizer stationary, when spraying on your desired pulse point/location? I noticed that when I went to a perfume store recently the associate who applied the Fragrance, sprayed on my skin in a sweeping motion?!

Interesting video however one point is perplexing. You said "put moisturiser on first, then the fragrance on top of that". When I looked on the Roja Dove's Application Video, he said the opposite fragrance first then moisturiser. What are your thoughts?
I doubt it makes a huge difference, as long as the fragrance molecules have a ‘matrix’ to stick to on your skin (which theoretically comes from the moisturiser)

- I would say spray your inner elbow instead of your wrist if you are using fragrance to work and: a)have a job where you frequently handwash, b) a desk job where your wrist touch the desk all the time, or c) if you are handling food...
- As for moisturising, I would probably go one step and ensure you have healthy, well moisturised skin which means keeping hydrated and using good non scented soaps - you can even get one that is for dry skin/eczema prone skin.
- Some people also suggest to use products with the same scent e.g. bleu de chanel scented shower gel - but I don't think this is very effective
- Don't rub your wrist together after applying the scent on your wrists
- Don't spray the air and walk through it - this is not effective at all
- Personally I spray my shoulder blades instead of my neck because the smell is sometimes too overpowering and you get noseblind faster if you spray closer to your nose!

Maybe 2 sprays of Spicebomb Extreme from 2013 to 18. But formula now, you need 6 to 8 sprays. Even then starts to fade after 2 hrs.
I got a bottle of Versace Dylan Blue for Christmas and i broke out with spots all over my neck. I loved the smell but I can't wear it. It's weird I've never had any issues with aftwrshave or skin care items before.

there is one thing I don't understand. if a scent lasts longer, because of spraying it on the clothes, or due to skin moisturizer, doesn't that also mean, that fewer molecules are projected into the air where people smell your fragrance? isn't it a deal at the end? I mean, do you want the perfume molecules to stick on your skin and clothes, or do you want the molecules to leave your skin and project into the air? so, what is the point of smelling a scent 1 week on a shirt, but only with the nose close to the shirt?

sometimes its actually cheaper to get these gift sets than the bottle by itself when stores are trying to get rid of stock, they can add a small bit of extra longevity but they really don't matter, I like the 0% alcohol stuff as its better for your skin
