having off roaded Landies i would get a roll bar for your soft top. My ex military 90 soft top had one and having been in one that rolled its essential.

I'd put a roll bar in a hardtop landy tbh, because the hardtops just rip straight off the body cappings and the cast windscreen surround snaps as soon as you roll them.......

As we slowly come to realise our beautiful countryside is a finite resource, one thing i have realised is that electric traction is really so much kinder on the tracks and terrain. Practically no wheelspin, high bandwidth torque control in both positive and negative direction down to zero speed. It's the ultimate "Tread lightly" facilitator 🙂

Looks fun. Couple of points,. You forgot to mention the 4th set up demonstrating how to get over the cross axles and that was the Traction Control in the Porsche. And secondly the britpart man was completely wrong as the civilian 110 and 90 sliding windows also open both panes just like the military ones. I think he was getting confused with te earlier Series windows.

@@carholic-sz3qv My Disco 2 is 25 years old so not modern. It does have a center diff lock but no way to engage it without a hardware mod. It has the Bosch traction control which senses wheel slip and brakes individual wheels separately to transfer torque.

I need to put new tyres on the Defender I just bought because the ones on it are 14 years old, I was planning to go for BFG trail terrains might be perfect, they seem to have lots of grip.

Not because I couldn't if I wanted, but because my lungs hurt every other warm and windstill summer from all of the ICE cars, and meanwhile even when standing next to someone refuelling their car. Similarly, any kind of animal products produce the same kind of issue, just a lot worse. So yeah, hence my comment.
