Thank you for the video. My receiver sometimes it does not turn on, is there a reason for this, is this common? How do I fix it?

How many body packs can you have on one transmitter? Is it only 2?

Hi! You can use as many PSM receivers as you want to pick up the signal that a PSM transmitter is broadcasting. You can learn more here: service.shure.com/s/article/can-i-use-more-than-one-psm-receiver-with-just-one-transmitter?language=en_US

Really stupid question here. when I'm outputting an aux mix from an XLR connection, and inputting it into the 1/4 inch jacks on the PSM 300. Can I use an XLR to dual 1/4 inch splitter to feed both the left and right inputs on the Shure... or do I need two XLR outs and an adaptor to feed the stereo signal to the PSM300?

An Aux mix from your XLR connection will only be mono so splitting it in two, will only make two of the same mono mix. You would need two separate XLR to 1/4 Inch adapters or cables to have a stereo signal being sent to the Shure. One Aux out would be L and the other would be R

Thank you. So then could I use a TRS. Cable from the 1/4 inch aux to the left input of the PSM300. If not then I think I'm best using the 1/4 inch aux outs to send a mono signal to the psm300.

Yes that would work just fine

With the PSM300 in mix mode (1 transmitter, 2 receivers), how do I pan specific instruments? I.e. Guitar 1 L75/R25 and Guitar 2 L25/R75? Is this possible?

I’m pretty sure you can’t. Mix mode turns both L and R into mono by feeding them both into both L and R. The panning knob becomes a mix knob instead. Basically a dry/wet mix knob.
If you want to pan you’d have to be in stereo mode. And honestly I don’t see why anyone would use mix mode for mixing. Just use the mix busses themselves. Mix mode is probably primarily used for feeding 2 mono monitor mixes with 1 transmitter. Using 2 channels for mixing is such a huge waste. Why would anyone use two channels for what’s essentially still just a mono feed?

Thanks for replying. Yeah, I'm learning this. The only way to go stereo or with an ability to pan is getting a stage box (we currently use all 8 outs on the X32 - 6 mono IEM and 2 PA outs)@@kevinwang7894

@@scottorama2002 Are you guys using the X32 rack? You can also use the AUX outs.

Does that mean in mix mode one system with 2 transmitters can have 2 seperate mono mixes?

That’s what it says at 2:31
One transmitter. With two receivers each having a mono mix
