So I'm planning on getting a second shure glxd4r+ in a couple of weeks they will be rack mounted side by side both shure receivers for my guitars will be turned on and active on different channels I'll be toggling shure receiver A & B with an instrument selector so the passive antenna splitter will work for this configuration? Also if I decide to not turn on one receiver and just use one shure receiver does that mean the passive antenna splitter will still work?? Unfortunately I don't have room for a rack mount distribution system lol

Just improve the quality control and overal product. I bought one and returned due to quality issues. The microphone makes a constant bzzzzz and I got mine defect, it was working only on certain positions

Shure is one of those companies that can do no wrong when it comes to mics. The only company I trust in making the world's best microphones at practically entry-level prices. The SM57 has proven to be the best mic in many use-cases, even over $2,500 mics, yet it costs a hundred bucks. SM7 is the best vocal mic for many people and it's $399. I used KSM44s in omni mode as drum room mics (through distressors in nuke mode) and they were the best sound I could have asked for. Therefore, I have no doubt that the SM4 is going to be great for people.

Good information. So my short receiver has 2 bnc Connectors in the back for antennas. Im using a Y wire splitter to connect to ome exterior andtenna. is this unproper? I'm still learning here thank you

They made KSM8 not so long ago, and here are two more Neaxadyne 8 s c. They sped up, but are they good products? Space technology in Nexadyne, but in work, the microphones are weak, they couple, they have little power. For such a modern product for $400, they are not worth the money. Ksm8 does not make an impression either. Beta 87 definitely wins with them.

This is perfect for my voice - I actually bought the SM7dB. Now I’m curious about mic-ing up instruments as condensers pick up too much environmental noise while recording at home. I’m going to experiment today!
