Finally someone that actually tries to explain how to beat the boss when Im searching for a how to beat the white clad noble video. EDIT: It only took me 2-3 tries using this way vs the dozens of times I tried others ways. The dozens of other times until I eventually figured out the timing to get better at dodging his attacks might have helped do but definitely getting in 2 uses of the transformation did wonders for some extra damage and more importantly extra life bars😂😂
Instead of all this , just max out your light attack skills . The health and stamina skills are worthless since they provide very little upgrades for the amount of points put in them . Max out the light attacks and he dies easily .

I was trying to beat this clown for 5 hours and no matter what i try i was getting hit but maybe your game settings worked for me.. i beat him in the first try !! -I did use immobilize for the first form but if you can stay alive longer then i don't think it matters ! -Running out of mana was another issue for me but this time it didnt happen.. -turned off the tv volume so that i can focus more - I'm probably wrong but my theory is the boss can read your left joystick's position , hence it strikes exactly when you are trying to dodge left or right.. what i did was ; positioning it to righ when he was preparing for an attack and as soon as he launches i dodge the other way ! -Spamming heavy attack only with tiger was another great piece of advice ! -do as more as possible damage and use r2l2 combo .. -When you both low on mana and stamina try to move like a snake !! (IT Works like a magic) -when he comes inside your range after dodging then only attack or else fall back ! Hope this should save you from the torture.

This worked for me the big tip I can give anyone with any boss so far in this game I’ve encountered, aggressive is better, get on close, don’t keep distance and trust your perfect dodge, Perfect dodge is your parry, this game seems to want you to get in close with these bosses and out class them there, distance only makes me hesitate on my dodge when your in close with him attack 3 times dodge then 3 more that got it for me

It's better to use immobilize at the start of first phase and then try to defeat the first phase by using no immoblize and transformation (use max 2 immoblize in the first phase)

Based on the amount of time you took in the first form though, you could have likely used the immobilize ability and it would have been recharged by the time you made it to the second stage, no?
you get the wolf mask after beating the big werewolf guy, his name is Lingxuzi so if you are at this water snake guy you should find it in your headgear in your inventory.
it is easy only for console or controller users, they even ask you to use a controller in the beginning of the game. Using the much expensive keyboard+mouse seem to deliberately lag the input. They have nerfed the keyboard gameplay and boosted the controller gameplay.
The wandering wight spells in my inventory (beat boss). It won't let me set spell (at shrine) after crafting/brewing it. couldn't figure out all night.
Aight but quit saying "trust me" over and over though... You don't have to try to convince us. Just do your thing... Makes me not want to listen to what you say with the constant "trust me"
@@samaBR333 Indeed. I think it's his intentionally delayed attacks after fast movements that throw off people's dodge timing. He'll have fast animations of attacks incentivizing dodge on his heavy attacks but they are delayed 1 second or so than what his movements indicate causing many people to dodge too early. This is magnified in his second form due to his aggressiveness. That mixed with the length of fight and very few heals is a frustrating hurdle for many people early on.
days, still haven't beaten it. It's made me lose the hype for the game as I've been seeing the same brick wall for so long I've forgotten about the good things.
@@darren3323 agreed, the timing is not proper. at first i am able to beat in phase 1 but later when dying on phase 2 and again starting i am even unable to defeat him in phase 1. so frustrating.
I'll give it a go tomorrow, I'm too angry now. This boss has taken more attempts than Melania from Elden ring and I still haven't beaten it.

I can confirm that dodge approach works. Tbf this method got me the closed to beating him. Took 2-3 times using this approach but it works

you just equip it from your inventory, like a piece of armor
Use forceful unbound and skyfall strike. It does massive damage to him
