Compared to the trend of just hypercutting zooming in on faces cuts every couple seconds to different parts of the screen cuts on when somebody tries to make a joke but it's not funny. they don't want to portray him well because they know that a lot of right leaning social media likes him. it's that simple. even kingdom of heaven (which itself is arguably very against the overall christian cause) gave him his due credit. he's not even one of the highlighted bookmark characters- sybille is. They're going out of their way to downplay his existence but surely if he was a SWEDE like the devs they would have gone above and beyond to buff him beyond belief, give him custom graphics and events, etc, as well as glossing over any potential negative aspects. (see: vikings in ck, gustavus adolphus and swedes in europa universalis)
It's alright: I hope they being back some earlier dates because with the new DLC, Abd Al Rahman I would probably be the single best character you could ever play on CK3.

Manipulate the congenital traits of the rulers with the objective that the heir of a king or emperor is their son with the traits "Pure-blooded", "Lunatic" and "Genious". This heir should not be part of your dynasty. He is the Kwisatz Haderach.
Kwisatz Haderach was always a Bene Gesserit, if a male. He had to be born from one. All three of them in Dune were descendants and genetic projects of Bene Gesserit.

This is more of a historical thing where each feudal house has their own armies and the king's armies are mainly composed of their levies and vassals. It's kind of like how army regiments function today with differences in uniform based on their identity, but in the medieval era, each soldier, man at arms and knight has the coat of arms of their direct liege.
Off topic but i recently discovered that the Aleramici family has originated from the region of italy i live in and pretty much reigned on a vast part of the East. One of their most prominent members was Corrado del Monferrato, a key figure in the Third Crusade , known for his defense of the city of Tyre against Saladin. You can still find their traces here in castles as well as templar ruins.

What's cool about this start date is that it is weirdly between CK3 and EU4 in terms of scale. We're now in a time period were we have 10K+ armies. No longer seeing armies of just 500 to 2000 troops, but actual full scale armies like in EU4.

I feel like Baldwin should've been given congenitals, namely Handsome (or comely) and Intelligent. He was recorded to have been good looking before suffering his deformities, and was stated to have a really good memory along with learning really fast. I'd say his personality traits are spot on though.
