Another super cutie. I picture CC#2 being enjoyed by children for years to come. Great job everyone who contributed blocks.
It’s the little things that make life lovely, isn’t it? The foliage changing through the seasons, the sunshine, some great fabrics from your favorite designers, good food, good people. We each must find our own way to make the money needed to survive well, but that isn’t where the joy is. The joy is in the small moments of enjoying “life, the universe and everything”. (Hint: the answer is 42.)
Love the Oh My Stars pattern…made table runners for gifts last year. Made baby quilt that has been well loved! This year I’m making two Oh My Stars for our local hospital’s Palliative Care. Families can chose a quilt to warm a family member in final stage of life and then keep the quilt as a special memory. Oh My Stars will be perfect. Thank you Pat for such a versatile pattern. Blessings, Dawn
Pat I don’t mind watching someone sew or cut fabric. Especially since I learned something today ( how to cut fabric with polka dots). I have a quilt finishing soon with dots. Thanks so much you’re always informative ( no paint drying). Don’t sell yourself short.❤️
Critter quilt 2 is gorgeous. I can’t believe how so many different shapes, colours etc looks. Absolutely fantastic
The critter Quilt is absolutely gorgeous. That is going to make a child. Very happy great job.
My husband laughed when he heard the ‘squeeze in another quilt’ as that is what I do all the time. I think I have all this time! It would be really good if we could stretch out time as we are squeezing!
Oh my the creature quilt looks FANTASTIC!!
Oh my stars is my favorite pattern for a baby quilt 👏🏻👏🏻
I’ve made six Oh My Stars quilts, most of which have been for babies. My next one will be for my grandson, who will be graduating from high school next June. It’s going to have to be a long twin size because he’s 6’3”.
The best fried chicken sandwich is the new hot pimento cheese chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A! Excited to start an oh my stars!
When you hung the critter quilt on your clothesline, I noticed how the trees in the background were so beautiful! The trees here in Oregon are just glorious this year too!!
Ballerina Quilt is beautiful!!
SCRAPPLE! OMG that brings back memories. My dad was from PA and any time relatives came to visit they brought it tous. I loved it. It's more like a breakfast sausage than spam, but hey, we used to eat that too!
My husband has mowed our lawn (front and back) at least 6 times. He uses our riding lawnmower with a bag to catch them. And the oak trees STILL have not shed all the leaves!
You truly inspire me. I’ve gone to my Quilt closet and gathered several quilts that needed binding. I have retreat tomorrow and Saturday and I’m going to take all Mike unbound Quilt about five to get the binding put on in the next two days. If I can accomplish that I will Quilt a small charity quilt on my home machine with just wavy lines and maybe get the binding on it too. Pat, you keep me organized.
The thin green dot fabric really is terrific on critter 2 quilt. ❤
Wow on critter quilt love the green dots
Gees, yes I was wondering about Scrapple Day 🤔. Love the green dot fabric and the Critter quilt is fantastic. You are the best....love your channel because it's YOU. I always learn something and often get a giggle besides 😂.
Wow Pat, everyone did such a grreat job with the critter blocks. You did a marvelous job setting them. ❤
The critter quilt is so stinking cute! Love it! And so is flo the flamingo! Can't wait to see the finished quilt! Hint get that binding done....
Watching you cut or sew is not boring at all. I enjoy the whole process. The trees are pretty, looks a lot like it does here in Roanoke. 😊
I love the Christmas oh my star quilt
Loved the video and fabric. Unfortunately I had to watch in two parts. It was so refreshing to see the trees. I love fall. It smells so good and the trees are so pretty. I have a window next to my sewing machine. It reminds me there is life outside of my machine😆😆
I have a wooden ladder someone’s husband made for quilts. They were giving it away and I got it.
Love your Oh My Stars!!!! Cute flamingo!! Hope you have a great day!!!!
Pat you are such an inspiration to us! Yes, you will get the binding and etc. done, in its time! You are so productive, so I have no doubt. Love the way you see beauty and share it with us! Leave a little time to soak in the beauty of the trees. Thanks for sharing your world!
Hi Pat, I really like the green polka dots around the critter quilt. The frabic for your next oh my stars is pretty. Good job on getting things done. Thanks for sharing
❤ this critter quilt
I have to tell you that both critter quilts are absolutely gorgeous
The narrow green polka dot border makes Critter Quilt #2 look playful--so cute and beautiful! The wave stitch on Flo is perfect!
Pat, the green polka dot is perfect for the critter quilt #2! I love the idea of a navy binding too.
Those long narrow scraps make great ties in the garden to hold up your climbers.
Loved looking at the fall colors. I grew up in Pittsburgh PA but live is Calif. now. I always enjoy your "shows" they make my day!🥰
Scrapple - YES!!!!! I grew up in Chester County, PA, and we ate scrapple, Habberset's, or from the Amish stand at the Farmers' Market. It is not in the same league as Spam. Sorry. I know you have to have a taste for it, but I have it. It is not for everyone; I agree. Love, love the Critter Quilt. You are amazing!!!🥰
Florence is looking soooooo good. Congrats!
I have learned a lot about bringing blocks that don't match together with one color sashing/binding from the way you put the critter quilt together. Thank you.
And I hate to say it but I like scrapple...lol. I live not too far from the Amish Country in Pennsylvania and maybe twice a year go out for fabric. I always have to pick up a piece of scrapple. I can't eat it every day but once or twice a year is good. LOL
I love ❤️ the critter quilt! I'm going to gather up fabric for oh my stars! 😊
I’ve been wanting to make Oh My Stars for a while. On my bucket list. I say that every time you show it!
Yes black and white stripe on Christmas quilt! Love that bright cobalt blue on you today!!!!
I look forward to you new video each day. When you said you were going to use the green dots, I thought hmmm, not sure about it. But it looks great. It really added a nice touch to the whole quilt. Also I have missed Florence. I missed her so much I bought the book to make my own. Not now because I have too many irons in the fire but one day I will have my own Florence to see all the time.
Critter quilt is awesome! Loved seeing it outside! Excited about the oh my stars sew along. I have my charm packs ready to go.
Thank you for showing how you cut the polka dots. I often cut along the length of the fabric to get straight patterns, but your way saves fabric and introduces some stretch that helps during binding. I grew up in central PA. We bought scrapple from a family who made their own on butchering day. Delicious. We ate it with pancake syrup. I never found a commercial product that was as tasty, so now I settle for fried cornmeal mush, which is called fried polenta where I live now.
The green critter green is fabulous! Great choice and u cannot go wrong with a dot!
I've been wanting to do a Oh My Stars quilt forever. Yea!!! I need to start another project HAHAHA
I grew up in Scrapple! But I eat much healthier now. I have a Jacob’s ladder I need to finish. Critter quilt #2 made me think of this quilt for a class such as a special Ed class. Green looks cheery.
Made the oh my stars for a grand niece easy and quick to put together turned out do cute
I need to make myself a Christmas quilt for my bed.
I haven't made an Oh My Stars quilt yet but have a layer cake just waiting to be used and the time to do it! It is amazing how many projects have built up in my first year quilting. 😲 Got a table runner done for a church craft fair last weekend (it sold!) and two offspring quilts to make before I get to that. And so much more. SO many quilts. SO little time!!
This Philly girl loves that you mentioned Scrapple! My Pop loved it too. I haven't eaten it in a really long time but yum!
OMGoodness! That quilt is just amazing and so beautiful. Any one who made a block will be ecstatic with what your hard work and creativity has wrought. Spectacular!!
Thank you Pat for another nice video. I’m hoping to do the “oh my stars” quilt along for a birthday gift;)
Critter Quilt 2 is amazing too! Love the green polka dots!
Critter quilt binding would look good with a black binding.
I love love Meadowmere!! Those metallic mushrooms.....omg!
That critter quilt is so adorable!!Loved the view of the trees my favorite time of the year(also a November birthday). Sending you good vibes for your finishing.
Ballerjna quilt is so pretty
Thanks, Pat, for the binding tutorial on how to cut dot fabric.
Love the quilts, the critter quilt is just beautiful. I would love to make a Christmas quilt in the Oh My Stars pattern it looks so easy and fun. That would work no matter the fabrics. Thank you for showing us your progress in finishing your quilts. I am sure some need that push to get theirs done also, life sure can get in the way. Have a great day and thank you.
Love the green polka dots so fun for the critter quilt
The critter quilt is beautiful
I did finally make an Oh My Stars quilt in winter blue and white fabrics. It's a fun one to make! The critter quilt is so cute with the green borders and sashing. The recipient will love it!
like how the green sashing and outside border green poke dots comes together...just beautiful!
Love the critter quilt. You are so inspiring 😍
Pat on small wall hangings have u ever tried just using the backing for the binding, ie fold it over some and Just turn to the front and sew on. Very easy for a wall hanging. Might be a good wee topic for video discussion.
We're going to a QUILT Museum today, the Iowa Quilt Museum. Woo hoo!
Love this critter quilt. 🙂
Loved seeing the autumnal trees outside your kitchen, thank you. It brings you closer to me here in Coventry, England.
I binge watch as I stitch, tidy or something. I often have to rewind as I’ve missed looking at something. You keep me company.
Best wishes to you both.
Love your elephant scarf Pat
Love love the quilt!!!
Flo looks fabulous!
Thank you for the green dot tutorial!
Love the green dots on this quilt… this one is my favorite ❤❤
Great job, Pat. It’s great to have bindings finished. I can’t wait for Flo. It will be perfect timing to get the Christmas one done so that you can decorate with it this year!! I haven’t used a polka dot border yet, so I am glad you showed that. I appreciate it1
Critter quilt is amazing and the green polka dot border completely brings it together! Flo is so cute, I love it …and now I have to make an oh my Stars …what a great video!
Love your critter Quilt. You pulled it all together nice.
Spent several hours at the Art Institute in Chicago - miniature rooms, impressionists (incl Sue La Grande Jette), Chagall window and more!
You are so amazing!! I wish I had your energy, I don't know how you accomplish so much.
Love the shimmer in some of your oh my stars fabric
Pat your quilts for so beautiful, love love, love them. Thanks you for inspiring and sharing. 👍❤️😊
Loved the critter quilt. The charm pack for *Oh My Stars* is beautiful.
I absolutely love Flo🦩🦩🦩🦩♥️🧵
Your wave quilting is perfect for her Pat💕🦩
Pat don’t forget about oh my stars table runner. Maybe new viewers need Christmas presents.
I made three Oh My Stars table runners for gifts last year and still get thank you comments from the recipients! One texted the other day it has been her first holiday decoration in the table this year “lovin it”. On My Stars the gift that keeps on gifting!! Blessings, Dawn
Love love, love the outdoor view we don’t get much turning of the leaves here in New Orleans and when I say New Orleans I mean right in the city so it’s really nice to see thanks for the outdoor view
Polka dot border is perfect! Loving it!
Love the green boarder, makes it pop!
Hi Pat! I think a navy would really look good for the binding on the critter quilt!
You are too cute. I am not a scrapple fan either. Thank you for sharing your show and tell. Lovely work as always.
Beautiful view from your back yard!
I went back to 2 years ago in the video when you finished the Oh, My Stars with Christopher’s fabric. You were thinking of backing it with the green or black Harmony wide back, and bind in green. I think the green Harmony would look really good for the binding.
Christmas Oh My Stars quilt: striped binding would be cute! Do you have a red & white stripe? That would be just as cute as a black & white stripe.
black and white is cut and sewn on
You do amazing things with critters❤
Stop! My sewing room is still packed from the move last Friday. But I want to dig in there and find my charm packs that I got for an Oh My Stars Quilt. You are so inspiring ❤️.
I wanted to ask if you ever had lots of projects in process, but a pattern or fabric made you cut out another one. Now I know, You Do It, Too.
Love this show and the encouraging way you help us all.
Great job on the Critter Quilt 2. Just love how it all came together. Can't wait to see Number 3. Waiting for you to get into your parts centre and make something that will dazzle us. I have a part centre as well and need some motivation to tackle it. You brighten my day as I eat my breakfast and watch the video. Makes everything go down better.
I made 1 Oh My Stars a while ago. I added white. I should make another as I have a couple.
Critter quilt is cute. I love the green elephant print for the backing. I haven’t made one yet, but O My Stars is such an adorable quilt.
Love looking out my kitchen window too, that's where I found my color inspiration for making Autumn Wonders 🧡 Happy almost Birthday 🎂
Thanks for taking the critter quilt hanging up outside. It's adorable! Pretty leaves. U miss acorns from oak trees and using t caps for whistling. Looking forward t a Oh My Stars QAL.
Beautiful backyard! Thanks for sharing! Also, love the Meadowmere!
I made a baby quilt with your Oh My Stars pattern, it was so cute. It’s perfect for any size quilt. I used stash which is such a bonus and makes it so versatile.
The critter quilts are too cute! I may have to find something to make an oh my stars with. I keep saying I want to so one.
Oh my! I really loved everything in today’s video. Florence ifs looking so good with her wave quilting. The ballerina quilt is so nice with that matching striped binding. The Christmas Oh My Stars is perfect - that border fabric really speaks to me. And those glorious fall colors behind your yard are my favorites. I’m really gushing today ❤!!!
Critter #2 is lovely & so is Flow the Flamingo! Think I'm going to try your fantastic idea & have an enlarged flamingo made at the copy store, thinking 18-inch bird. I do have a .5 yard piece of flamingo fabric somewhere. For this next O My Stars, I'm thinking a Kaffe Facet charm pack & stars in a
?solid?color? But new projects will have to wait a few weeks until I can get out & about again. Pat Sloan enjoyed today's video very much. Thanks for the lesson on cutting polka dot fabric straight. Do you ever use a small plaid for binding? Plan on joining you online again tomorrow. You & Mr. Gregg have a great day!!😊
What an awesome video, as always. 😃
