I love rose. Almost any iteration of rose. People my age never want to be open-minded. They often automatically discount rose and white florals, without giving them a chance!
I have always disliked most rose forward scents... One of the many reasons I love how personal perfume collecting can be❤️ our noses associates things emotionally and we've all had different emotional experiences

White florals almost always give me a headache, and rose is 50/50 with headaches so I always avoid them, but I like smelling them on other people!!
@@izzybitsyspider03 I will admit that I think rose can smell a little musty, or old, to me. I do tend to associate it with being old fashioned. That being said, I loved the way my grandmother smelled and she wore very rose forward scents. I just don't usually like it on my own skin. Every perfumer does rose differently so there are exceptions to my disregard for it. Happy scenting! 💕

There is a perfume oil company in Australia that does an excellent version of Mango Skin. The green-ness is very much toned down, they made it perfect

I completely agree about Amber Haze. I was in the market and a woman walked passed me and she had this on; I later found out. So I walked up to her and said: “ I must know that scent you have on please!” And she showed it to me on Sephora’s website. I thanked her and gave her a compliment and bought it as I finished my shopping.
It is crazyyyy how we share the sameee taste in perfumes !!! 😮you said everything I needed to hear about every single perfume in my mind ❤ I adore Delina Exclusive but I didn’t want to spend that much money on it but I decide to order it finally but but but when i was in my way to order it I heard about Armaf Imperial so I ordered and got it two days ago and let me tell you I was like a kid that got the best candy in the world because how perfect and so similar to DE it’s literally her twin identical sister, you need to try it, also now I can decide about Italica and orintca amber rouge, I will order them today because of you, hopefully I will love them like you, thank you so much for an awesome job ❤️
I blind bought Orientica Amber Rouge a while ago. I personally think it's better than BR540 🤷🏻♀️ It has 0 medicinal notes and I never become anosmic to it.

Oud for Greatness is SO polarising (and so. freaking. good) - I was with my mum the first time I tested it and we had completely opposite reactions. I was instantly obsessed, eyes rolling in the back of my head, oh-my-fucking-god I have to have this, OBSESSED, and my Mum was totally repulsed. Not just "nah it's not my thing", but a full-on GET IT AWAY FROM ME RN type response 😂 gonna have to be careful when and where I wear that one when I eventually find a good enough deal on it!

Italica - there’s nothing like it out there. Man, it tickles my memory hole big time, lol. Ahhhh, I LOVE roses vanille, it’s so beautiful & beast mode! I have never smelled the original itálica but I have the Julianna’s perfume version and absolutely love it. I also ordered the God of fire dupe and love it!!!

Erba Pura is the THE most synthetic smelling I've ever put my nose on. Absolutely hate that stuff. And you're right, it's just sharp!

For me, BR540 smelled gorgeous, and I WAS going to save up to purchase it UNTILL I noticed that everyone on the train wore it. Now when I smell it, I immediately think about train platforms, and that really does suck 😞
And they reformulated it, so it's not the same anymore
I’ve never heard the comparison of BR540 to a dentist office but I have to say that is spot on…not in a bad way though!

I have to disagree on the BR540. I have some dupes and tried many others and I also own Baccarat Rouge itself and none of the dupes quite catches the sophistication of it and that magic that the original has. And I am not some perfume snob, I love designer fragrances and cheapies as well, and I mostly own those. But Baccarat Rouge is simply unique, no matter how much they try and copy it.
Finally someone else that gets it. I think everyone they mention is a dupe to the extrait but none to the original BR540
@@joniwestbrook7962 This is also my suspicion, but I've never even tried the Extrait version, so I wouldn't know for real but based on the overall description of the scent, I also think the dupes most probably fit better with the Extrait version. To me, no one has mastered the duping of the original fragrance yet. I don't really think no one ever will.
@@andmoreagain7 I do own the extrait and everything they claim matches the extrait some more alcohol than others and some just so overpowering. I'm not sure what that one ingredient is but it is almost to much. If they could get a handle on it then def a dupe for the extrait. Now I purposely purchased a fake of each to see how China was trying to make it pass nope they can't even make it similar. I feel sorry for the people being fooled by the knockoff pretending to sell the real deal for 95 dollars

I’m the same about Fig! Love fig! Loved even BBW Brown Sugar and Fig which was discontinued. And I was also looking for bigger projection for Gris Charnel. So I got the extrait. And with that I got cat piss with the fig. 😢

Erba Pura I bought in NY and it was a wild success. People loved it and it's nuclear. So funny how different noses pick up scents.
So thankful i don't smell the licorice in Lira! It's new to my collection and it already has a solid dent.

In one of your other videos you said you really like Replica by the fireplace, have you tried Emir camp fire? I think it is an exact dupe but lasts much longer on me and the 100ml bottle on Amazon was under 50 dollars.

Small Town Girl 🙋🏻♀️ OG Delina is a Masterpiece in my opinion it’s beautiful! It’s a sparkling fragrance that brings me joy ever time I wear or smell it. The Exclusif unfortunately did not work for me its way too powdery on me reminds me of “Baby Powder” so it’s a no from me 😬
Now I thought that I wouldn't be able to find a spot on dupe for Italica either - but I did!! GENRE PARFUMS makes the BEST dupe for Italica. Seriously y'all

Why do you think it smells like br540? Extrait absolutely but not the reg one.
The only full bottle I have of those featured is Initio Oud for Greatness (I'm a dude). Its a saffron near-bomb. And oud of course. The leather-like accord is that saffron. I associate saffron with a monarch's closet. The wood, the clothes. Elegant. Oud for Greatness is very synthetic though.
I have a decant of Mango Skin. Just OK. I normally like mango, like in the Hermès Un Jardin series. My holy grail fruity scent is Byredo Pulp. And second is the just-discovered Porthole by Loumari.
I think the Casamorati is just a line within the Xerjoff brand, isn't it? I have Fiero from that line.
It's funny how Baccarat smells different to everyone. My friend loves it because it's expensive and floral. I don't smell that at all, to me it's cheap pine - like PineSol! It's not unpleasant to me, but I bought a dupe and use it as a bathroom spray where my cat litter box lives!

I have never been able to smell Any Sweet or sugary notes in BR540.... I have heard other people say it has a burnt sugar note and I would like THAT because that WOULD totally be my vibe because I love sweet dessert type gourmands but I swear all get is IN THE STARS through and through and I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT STUFF!!
I hated Erba Pura too! I disliked that Hibiscus fragrance too!
Lira was a disappoint, but I don't enjoy the wearing experience of heavy molecule type fragrances. I didn't even bother trying BR540 for that reason.
