I would love to see a video ranking fragrances that can "make it through the day". I have such a hard time finding scents that last longer than a few hours.
They’re expensive, but MFK Grand Soir and Gentle Fluidity Gold last 14+ hours on my skin. So does the cheaper (but sadly discontinued) Scandal by Night by John Paul Gaultier. I’ve gotten compliments on all of those scents at least 10 hours after applying them.
Man, if Born To Impress was trying to dupe L'Imperatrice, they definitely got it wrong! Soapy, floral, powder? L'Imperatrice smells like straight up watermelon juice! It's the perfect summer sweet aquatic refresher!
Yes. Born to Empress is definitely NOT a dupe of L'Imperatrice. Not even close - it smells rosy, not the gorgeous juicy watermelon that is L'Imperatrice. But, I absolutely agree that BTI is super sharp. Not terrible, just not great.
Definitely got it wrong. To me, L'imperatrice is like FRESH, light, airy watermelon. Not that kind of watermelon that can be stinky, and definitely not powdery and soapy. It's lovely.
I’ve purchased several bottles of missing person. It is my favorite everyday, warm, ethereal perfume. Without a trace is 90% similar in the initial spray. It’s a little cleaner in the initial smell. The dry down is 100% the same. I’d say 1 minute into wearing its 100% missing person at a third of the price. It’s amazing how close they were able to get it. Really the same perfume.
Mystic figure smells almost exactly like one of my favorites in high-school. It was Gwen Stefani's Harajuku girl love. I smelled it at work today and fell in love
So finery’s scents do last a long time! Before the rainbow (a dupe for my beloved JMalone Sea Salt and Wood Sage) lasts all day! So pleasantly surprised. JMalone lasts 1 hour tops.
For the record, I never thought I’m A Musk was a dupe of Cloud. They don’t have any listed notes in common. I know some of the early press write ups speculated on that, but that doesn’t seem to be put out by the brand itself and the comparison itself made me wonder if the person writing the articles had even smelled all of the fragrances they were writing about. I always assumed I’m a Musk was trying to dupe something like Not a Perfume by JHAG or Paper by Commodity but that’s not a scent family I’m sure familiar with so I may be missing a more obvious guess.
Without a trace is SOOOO good I usually don’t like super overhyped scents but it’s so good. I think that it’s just so like clean and easy to reach for that has me going back. Sadly I only have the mist and I’ve already dented that sucker !!
Would love your thoughts on the Sand + Fog perfume oils that you can find at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I feel like they have some pretty solid dupes! I just smelled a pistachio one from them that to me was spot on for the Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato 33.

I was waiting for you to review these! My Target didn’t have them all but I was able to get Pistachio Please and The New Rouge which I really like both of especially for the price! I’m hoping when I go this week they’ll have more in stock…and definitely want to smell Without a Trace since we have the same taste lol! Did you see btw that Soap & Glory came out with a Fig line…I can’t wait to smell it!! I also wanted to ask if you thought about doing a Middle Eastern themed fragrance video…especially with them coming out with so many great dupes or just great fragrances
The pistachio Fine’ry has been my daily one…you know for just running around or casual hanging out or office. I think I go nose blind to it really fast, which made me think it had bad lasting power…but then some lady complimented me out of nowhere awhile ago and I was like, whoa so it still must be noticeable. Another friend complimented it as well but she called it a “lotion” smell lol. I just think it’s a light sweet scent.
I’m so glad I found this video! I found Finery when I was looking for a dupe for Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry and Finery had one that I tried the body spray which I really like! Since TF is a little too rich($$$) for my price point I’ve never smelled Lost Cherry so I can’t speak of Finery’s Not Another Cherry to be a dupe for Lost Cherry, but I do really like the body spray version of Finery’s Not Another Cherry! I think I’m going to give the Pistachio a try!!!xoxoxo
I’m a Musk is definitely an Another 13 from Le Labo dupe. I have both and while not the same that’s definitely what they were going for. Not sure where the cloud thing came from because you’re right that it doesn’t smell at all like Cloud.
I have a full bottle of with out a trace and love it. Me personally, I’m A Musk should be layered with other perfumes to elevate them. I would add spritz to a spray of With Out A Trace, just because I like very musky deeper scents.

Lauren, I was in Neiman’s and wanted to smell Baccarat Rouge 540 and so tried it on my arm because I heard so many people say how much they loved it. To my surprise I could barely smell anything! I read afterwards that it has a large scent molecule in it that not everyone can detect!? So then I tried their A La Rose scent and sprayed that right in my face 🤪 Yeah, I could smell that. I’m going to look for a dupe of the 540😬
I've tried several dupes for Baccarat. I went to CVS wearing Baccarat on one side and sprayed PS Cassis Amberwood on the other. It is pretty close, but minus the latex/chemically part of Baccarat.
I love the vibe of BR540. I adore cedar. There are very few perfumes I genuinely like for summer. ( I love the heavier, spicy scents. ) I have never smelled Baccarat but I just ordered the smallest bottle. 😳 (travel size)
Mysterious Nomad is fantastic. I’m not too familiar with G-Water either, but this reminds me of a frag I love that urban outfitters carried a few year back - Adorn Aura Quartz.
It’s very peppery and kinda woody imo. Didn’t like it at first but I let it settle for a while and now I’m surprised that I’m getting more of that wood scent ❤ very nuanced and unisex scent

Ok I’ve gone back and forth about the Mysterious nomad. Maybe my nose has changed or the fragrance did macerate with time, but I smell much less pepper and much more wood now. That hinoki wood note is absolutely DIVINE ❤ very cozy in a way. I’m kind of excited to wear it in the winter time layered with something vanilla.
I saw New Rouge in store, didn’t buy it (like a dummy) and then it was sold out for weeks (still is in my area). I ordered it online and LOVE it. I’m thinking I need to snatch the body mist at some point too.
Without a trace smells sooo good but it sits so close on my skin. I cant smell it unless i like sniff right on where i sprayed but it does smell good like a clean skin that was washed with soap

My vanilla bourbon is one of my longest lasting fragrances! It outlasts my Kayali even. But I have had it for a few years so maybe it's... cooked or whatever they call it lol.

I just got Not Another Cherry last week and it's such a yummy smoky scent but I find the longevity isn't there in comparison to the Tom Ford OG, either way though I'm happy it lasts long enough to satisfy my craving for intense cherry scent

Limpartrice is super fruity floral. It has kind of like this watery floral and then it has a new of kwiwi and watermelon and rhubarb. So I don’t think it is a type of that because there’s no rose in that fragrance.
It's funny that they duped L'imperatrice because you can get it for less than $34 on discounter websites lol (and it sounds like they were completely off the mark scent-wise to boot)

Gone Swimming is an uplifting Summer/Spring citrus-heavy crowd-pleaser, and Enchanted had to grow on me b/c my initial thought went, "too white-floral, soapy, dryer sheet, old-lady" for me, but its slowly growing on me. Purchased Without A Trace and can't stop wearing it. It is sooo lovely. The perfect, fresh, slightly warm "your skin but better" scent.

The fig one reminds me so much of Hanami by Phlur! Which is now discontinued. Hanami was somewhere in between father figure and Philosykos

The Fine’ry Not Another Cherry perfume is way better than the body spray. A nicer and deeper smell. I prefer it to the Tom Ford cherry’s tbh.

I have the Orientica alternative and I can definitely smell that. I've heard a few people say after a while they can't smell B540

I have the not another cherry, which I love, and mix with the mix bar vanilla bourbon. It’s so unfortunate neither last long at all.

Missing Person is really just a dupe of Egyptian Musk oil, which has been around forever and super affordable.
You should try the Oakcha dupes
Ok the dupe for 62 I want to smell it but if you think about is about same cost better just get the original I have original but I'm curious 😂yes dupes supposed to save you money but if I can get back up I will. 😊
I returned without a trace because the scent disappeared “without a trace” within 5-10 minutes 😂
I actually had a hard time smelling it at first BUT, it is faint but beautiful. Stayed on my clothes for days!
It’s a scent that is easy to become nose blind to however I find that other people can smell it and it also projects pretty well.

Has anyone tried the Born to Empress? Does it actually smell like DBIR? That one is so sweet, I don't get soapy at all so I'm confused by this.
Limpartrice is super fruity floral. It has kind of like this watery floral and then it has a new of kwiwi and watermelon and rhubarb. So I don’t think it is a type of that because there’s no rose in that fragrance.
I'd love to know the wear time of these?
It's funny that they duped L'imperatrice because you can get it for less than $34 on discounter websites lol (and it sounds like they were completely off the mark scent-wise to boot)

Has anyone given the L.A.-based company; The DUA Brand yet? I recently ordered/received Enchanted and Gone Swimming.... Gone Swimming is an uplifting Summer/Spring citrus-heavy crowd-pleaser, and Enchanted had to grow on me b/c my initial thought went, "too white-floral, soapy, dryer sheet, old-lady" for me, but its slowly growing on me. Its a mature fragrance.
Back on track regarding THIS video.... W/o A Trace mist, 5oz. bottle arrived today-- WHAT A SIGH OF RELIEF b/c it's pleasant yet unique. i LIKE it a LOT.
