I have all my parts, would you recommend attaching the fuel lines to the tank before putting it up inside the body? I have new limes, pumps and tanks. 18gal and 22gal
I love those old Ford Econoline van are you going to paint it a different color or you going to leave at the same color as is curious when you're done working on it
Why did you pull out the whole fuel filler neck instead of just pulling off the rubber hoses from the neck? h How much dirt went down your filler hose when you pushed the hoses up over the frame?
That was fun and as always, you got it done. Time for a break!
Now I can get it running with a new fuel tank!
👍🏻One more step closer to getting her fired up. 😎

Yes, makes it easier to install with the stuff already attached

Going to leave it gray for now. Might add some 70s style stripes later.
Okay yeah keep up the good work on it
What tank and pump did you use from rock auto
I think I used Carter brand pumps both for in tank and high pressure pump on frame rail. I used the Spectra 22 gal tank.

Because it was too hard to get the dryrotted hoses off in place. No dirt problems, been driving the van thousands of miles since this video.
What’s bolts are used for the straps to stay in place..bought new gas tank and straps didn’t get any bolts.
I'm using the factory ones as they were in good condition.
@@QuickSpeedShop dang it ..mine doesn’t have the factory ones. Just I’ll go to the auto store.
