lol
I didn't even notice that, that's fuckin beautiful 😭
"No more login" is all you needed to say.
Updating immediately.
it's just a email address:)) they are not stealing your house:)) calm youself
How hard is it to signin?
Say NO MORE FAM On my way!
LOL@@Spectru91
@@Spectru91 it's fucking annoying needing to do it every startup of the software. I'd rather have my house stolen (like that makes any sense) than that.
I really hope they add option to lock frame in overlay menu but it should work like rivatuner for better frame pacing.
so true, same here.
thanks for spreading the beta i had problems with shadowplay in geforce i couldnt even start the overlay i can now skip the headache with the beta app thx again you where a help even though it wasnt the main point of the vid :]
The RTX HDR ‘only’ works if you have a single monitor setup, it’s on their FAQ, which is disappointing bc I run a 2 monitor setup.
They said its coming in a future update
Still can't found it
Also need windows 11.
Yeah but will it work with VR headsets and I downloaded this app and found that the one click overclock and power settings are gone for gpus which is disappointing I hope they add them
Additionally, you have to turn OFF auto HDR in windows. There's a performance hit of anywhere of 5-20%.
I need CPU temp in the overlay so badly!
yess
Yeah for some unknown reason they have never had the cpu or gpu temps in the overlay, which makes it pointless, I have a little side panel I can bring out anytime that tells me everything about my machine from temps to fan speeds etc and yet they can't get 2 simple temp readings added. I don't know anyone who cares about their cpu "usage" they just wanna know if their CPU or GPU is about to explode due to the heat lol. They also need to add ram and GPU memory usage to it although that's not as critical.
@@whmxtra I'm still one a couple of updates ago and my nvidia overlay has always shown me the gpu temp.
@@IsraTheBlack Guessing it's a newer card? Might be newer cards from the last couple years will show the temp but older cards don't. All I have is FPS, GPU load, CPU load and latency.
Did you change the overlay's information level? By default it only shows basic information, like usage and latency
Your voice is great to listen to man, followed along - App seems promising!
yeah fr
So glad Nvidia did this, makes updating and managing my temperamental graphics card easier.
shadowplay is much easier to navigate now
Could you make a video about the Pacific Drive settings please?
10:07 actually you have to disable "Auto-HDR" in order to use the HDR in Nvidia app.
Outside that ive noticed I've been able to use desktop recording with HDR with multiple monitors plugged in. Before I could literally plug in my second monitor that wasn't HDR and Shadowplay would brick instantly with desktop recording enabled. Haven't had a issue yet with the new shadowplay.
the RTX feature doesnt show up for me, like it did in the video. I have a 3080 and the new AW32 OLED and HDR enabled. Did I miss something? OR do I have to wait until they include my monitor in an update?
@@TheUnrider If you have a second monitor non HDR or external amp for sound, HDR will not show up. Will not work.
@@TheUnrider I also have RTX HDR grayed out for me as well. I'm using the newest drivers as well as have HDR disabled in Windows as per app instructions. My monitor is an LG 27gp83ab. I've used HDR with it in specific games so I know it has some form of HDR.
@@TheUnriderApparently plugging your second monitor into your motherboard is a workaround for this.
what is the resource hog? will it need to open all the time?
I'm glad this video pulled up in my recommended. Always down to get new tech and new apps
game footage was recorder at 4k natively?
do you need to have recording on to have highlights ?
me encantó el nuevo overlay 😍😍
Overlay was in GeForce experience as well
I drop like 20 fps in games or 20% usage gets used up activating rex HDR. is that normal? windows auto HDR seems better performance wise.
I like the 2000s look of nvidia's control panel
In performance does it still have the auto overclock function?
I hope you can set Instant Replay to only record the game you’re playing because as it stands right now, it records all of the audio playing in you computer.
thank you. I download right away. very nice. and about time too
is it possible to have an overlay that shows a generic aim cross? so that I can turn it off ingame?
6:00 Shadow Play now also supports 120fps recording
LES GOOOOOOOOOO
This I like
It doesn't matter if you can't separate audio tracks
@@-djofull- I think you do, no? At least system sounds and mic are on different audio tracks from what I know
@@patrikmedia yeah it needs one more for discord for it to be viable for serious content creators
I tried it but a tweaked nvcleaninstall is still superior because you can take it off legacy message signal interupts and reduce telemetry improving frame stability. Also noticed I couldnt force NIS with the stock varient of this driver, though yours does not seem to be exhibiting that behavior in the nvidia control panel like mine was.
how do you use the push mic? what key button?
Why can't I find the undervolting option as per the previous version?
where did the fan settings go?
i cant speed up my gpu
Will this tank my fps in some games ?
I7-9770k + GTX 1060 6gb.
how do you clip on this then, you could clip on the old one
My instant replay only saves the last 3 seconds when I have it set at 8 mins. I have a good amount of memory left. Any fixes?
i dont have the RTX HDR for some reason (4080)
Why is there no enable automatic tuning?
Forced to update your GPU driver.. Not a good idea.. I didn't see that you could skip that... There are a often lot of issues with the newest drivers or other cases where you must you use an older version... Can this driver update be skipped?
Now can you tell me why when i open filter effects using alt+z it shows to launch supported game even though i already have one launched, and will not allow me to enable dynamic vibrance? really frustrated would love some assistance if you can?
What's the performance impact of this? I've never used geforce experience or any other similar bloatware.
Will this affect or improve a Nvidia Shield TV Pro? Thanks for the great info.
I think I heard rumors they're making a new one soon. If it has this RTX HDR and super resolution it's going to be killer.
It would be really cool if they add custom fan curves for your gpu built into the app
Yeah and now it'll be even easier for people to kill their nvidia gpu
@@aksGJOANUIFIFJiufjJU21 u cant kill gpu that way its not 1990. GPU will just throttle.
@@erisium6988 mmm you can just make the fan 0% for all tempature and then stress test the gpu, it'll eventually start melting
@@aksGJOANUIFIFJiufjJU21 haha for my gpu minimum level is 30% it depends on the manufacturer of the gpu some. Some gpus can be 0% and some dont
man I can't get RTX HDR to work. I've disabled scaling and DSR factors but it still remains greyed out.
Just took them a good decade or two! Cant wait to get rid of the old control panel
did they remove the broadcast live thing from the new ui?
Where’s the performance settings? Cant find them like I use to under alt z menu
this recomend for a low spec PC??
I will keep the old one, this one lacks a huge part of the settings... Every time I play a game, I use the Performance Overlay for temps and all the advanced stuff that the new app doesn't have...
what about manual fan control?? and some basic temps and loads? thats what we need mostly at ta basic level not messing with our in game settings which many times its about personal preference anyway
I second this suggestion. Annoying as heck to have to install 3rd party software from a "competing" company just to turn my GPU fans on manually once in awhile and blow the dust out of there. Basic temp/memory stuff would be nice too, I have to use another 3rd party gadget on my desktop to show that info.
Why is it so hard to properly learn how to use a configure MSI Afterburner + RTSS?
It's very easy to use and can provide sort of info you might need about CPU + RAM + GPU + Frame Time (ms); etc.
This would require quite a bit of work from NVIDIA for it to also work properly with various Motherboards and CPU related sensors.
@@BadMothaKalashnikov #1 Afterburner doesn't work on all systems, sometimes it conflicts with other stuff. #2 While useful for some things it's CPU heavy. #3 I have a hard time trusting any company that is shamelessly promoting Norton 360... and Norton Gaming (WTF??????), or basically Norton anything lol.
Lot of work my a$$ Check out a program called Sidebar Diagnostics..... made by 1 guy, requires no extra software to run, uses next to no computer resources.... and tells me EVERYTHING and more... cpu load... it's there, temps... that's there too, GPU load, temps, fan speed etc... all there. Ram.... there, drive space/read+write speed, it's there, network speed, that's there too, plug in a USB drive... auto detected.... Hell it's even got a clock. And the only thing you have to configure really is what you want to see and what you want to hide (there's options for "where" you want to see it and more stuff but that's optional).
So you're telling me a dude working out of his home all by himself can provide all that info in a nice handy package that doesn't kill my CPU and the entirety of Nvidia's multi billion dollar empire can't find the resources to do the same?
They already have basic CPU/GPU load and FPS in there, it's not that hard to add a couple more things. But I'm not holding my breath, the new Nvidia app overlay is even more resource hungry than afterburner. Even when not in use, just turning the option on uses 5 times more CPU than the program I mentioned above and it only shows 1/10th the info. Probably because they rammed it through the CPU rather than their own GPU so it doesn't tank the GPU performance lol.
New app is so much better only issue right now for me is it doesnt work to record Valorant clips when in fullscreen and fullscreen borderless have to be in Windowed so i went back to GeForce experience
Does the "Highlights" feature work anymore? I think it is broken as no clips are stored for any elim or downs in FN. Unless I'm missing a toggle or something. The Desktop toggle is on too.
yea ive been trying to fix it but idk might go back to old app
Can the fps counter enlarged?
man voice is soothing very nice to listen i can hear for hours and fall asleep quickly
still no fan curve like afterburner?
What about other settings tab which we get in nvidia control panel , like adjust desjtop size and position, video, image settings etc?
all of that is still in the old control panel, hopefully they'll add it to the new app soon and make it a real all in one, right now it's more like a half in one, half in the other :P
They did create a new app like the GeForce Experience, but they haven't revamped the Nvidia Control Panel's legacy UI yet (revamp = support for dark mode). :(
But should I get it now or wait until it leaves beta?
I cant find the one click overclock tool like in geforce experience app!!
No more camera settings like in the old GeForce exp?
I need help so i downloaded this and my replays didn't transfer is there a way to transfer because I had a lot. And even better if I could get the original app back not this beta.
The dynamic vibrance thing is incredible it makes the darker areas much darker and the colors brighter just don't over do it a little goes a long way
Why am I getting an N/A for the Frame Rate overlay in the Statistics view?
Finally a good video about these new features and how to use them! :)
anyone know how to remove the mic icon and the instant replay icon? I cant find anything about it anywhere
did everyone's fps overlay now show decimal points as well? kinda pisses me off lol, anyway to remove it? the decimal point not the fps overlay
Bro what is your mic settings? What mic? Might just be your voice low key. But thanks I appreciate the video. So easy to understand and easy to follow along. Subbed.
voicemeeter should do the trick, just up the low freq and high freq slightly
Looks faster..
But is it really needed for me that has a older rtx3060 12gb and only game on my pc in the 1080p setting
what would be better for me/gaming
info about stuff is always great.
Thanks 4 video(easy enough to understand)
Dude your 3060 12 gb is most popular card atm, it's not old.
It should get everything good at 1080p except for the high end path tracing
What’s the hit on performance in game??
At least it remembers your filter settings.
Why did it take so long ?
does it still have the overclocking tool geforce experience had?
thats what i'm trying to figure out. i liked being able to turn on my fans or put it back to auto. if anyone knows, please let me know.
What about super resolution screenshots?
RTX HDR doesnt exist as an option for me. So weird, I have the latest drivers and on previous drivers it DID exist for me but it said update to latest drivers. What the hell.
you can now set g-sync on a per-game basis. which is really nice if I want to keep it enabled global but disabled for specific competitive shooters like CS and Val.
how?
@@IllBeHidden set global settings to G-Sync and then on a game specifically you can set it to fixed refresh rate. this is how I did it for CS2. I usually just had G-Sync disabled completely and had to toggle it on if I wanted to play a more casual game with lower fps.
Why do people turn off GSync for high FPS competitive games like CS and Val? Asking cuz I don't play those games
@@alexmeyer8133 lower input latency
You can do this in regular Nvidia Control Panel actually.
Anyone know how to get to performance tuning by any chance or is that not a option in the beta?
It's gone. I was looking for it also. Nvidia says it will be added back at some point.
Are you referring to game optimization? It's in the graphic option tab.
no longer available. I did the auto tuning right before upgrading to nvidia app, but I need to check if the overclock carried over or if it was reset completely. after all it only did a +85mhz boost, not much.
manually overclock with msi afterburner. Better results anyways
MAN, NVIDIA IS SO BEHIND THAT IM STICKING WITH MSI AFTERBURNER AND RIVA TUNER. PLUS, MAY GO WITH AMD, INSTEAD. PRICE TO PERFORMANCE FOR THAT RAW POWER, INSTEAD OF RELYING ON DLSS. LOL WHACK AF@@patrikmedia
Can you help me? How do I revert to the old version, NVDIA app is good and all but why did they remove the broadcast live function which was very convenient for very fast facebook and youtube streaming.
Seems like a good start, i'll keep an eye on it, for now i'll wait a little longer, and let them add some more stuff and optimized it some more.
It will definitely come with a ton of telemetry and bloatware, I'll stick with my og control panel after removing everything with DDU and installing just the driver with NVclean install
The new overlay is surprising missing a few key statistics from the old one like GPU energy usage. Otherwise new control panel and RTX Vibrance/HDR are great additions.
i also dont think the gpu tuning features are there at all
Can I uninstall geforce experience if I install this, even if it's in beta?
so when i install the Nvidia app can i uninstall geforce expreience?
i get a error when trying to install the app, can't launch and says reboot and reinstall. any fix?
It's beautiful, but I can't activate recording or instant repaly on some games, 'not compatible', but I could with Nvidia Geforce.
I won't touch this while it's in Beta, the stability of my system is important.
82C gpu temp is a bit toasty not sure if the reading is correct
Hi i need help how to auto overclock gpu in nvidia app beta
Could you make a video on how to transfer a single player minecraft world into a server keeping all the buildings and stuff!!
What if the RTX HDR option is not there at all? I'm using a 4060 Ti with the latest drivers. I'm using a single monitor.
Same, I can't see it with a 3080ti
@@CDbiggen are you both on windows 10? if so you would have to upgrade to 11. hopefully it comes to 10 later on.
@arbiter1 , yeah I'm still on W10, thanks I guess that's it.
Many users are confused about this overall. First you MUST enable HDR in your OS.
Then after done so, double check your Display's actual OSD Menu as this should also confirm whether its On/Off.
Also enable the Hardware GPU Scheduling in Win10/11. After you do you will be required to Restart the OS.
After that you should be all good to go.
Some Displays you need to be aware of because not all HDR Displays will allow both GSync/FreeSync + HDR enabled at the same time.
well the statictics overlay suck cuz there's no fan speed customisation option like the geforce experience overlay
Do game filters carry over with a driver update or do they still reset to default?
i need to know too, this is so zzzz
Nvidia fixed bugs in 551.61 driver. This information is from 551.61 feedback from NVIDIA site for GFE and it applies to NVIDIA app.
Fixed General Bugs:
RTX Video HDR: Tone mapping not working properly with custom HDR brightness values in Windows [4472972]
Chrome/Edge Browsers: Poor black level quality in SDR video playback with Windows HDR setting enabled [4492243]
NVIDIA Freestyle: Filter settings are not saved after quitting game [4472656]
Adobe Substance 3D: Stager unable to initialize the viewport [4403960]
Adobe Substance 3D: Vulkan version of Substance Painter cannot be launched [4425856]
Idk why, but my game filters reset all the time with Geforce Experience, maybe it happens when I update?
this is a bug of the last 2-3 drivers. 546.33 work good/ no reset @@AnasHart
same ?
How can I enable NIS within the app?
dynamic vibrance could be really good for games like tarkov where its hard to see stuff
it massively raises the black levels
I have a very nice monitor, that is HDR capable, and I've found that turning on HDR really makes regular content muted and you lose a lot of vibrance. The added effect in games is good, but not substantial enough IMHO to lose so much the rest of the time when your content isn't in HDR. Unless I'm doing something wrong on my end, your system can't auto switch between regular and HDR mode, so I simply don't use it. Also, in HDR mode it was really stressing out my RTX3080 and was around 65c during intense gaming....without HDR on it stays around 45c. That's a HUGE difference on heat/stress on your GPU.
Of course watching sdr content in hdr is bad.. obviously. It's not like sdr content is supposed to be watched, well, in sdr. And even hdr games need to be calibrated to look good in hdr. If you can't do that then don't complain like that, use your brain, educate yourself on hdr, and do the work.. instead of blaming the technology itself. And yes, RTX HDR put more stress on GPU since, I believe, it's using CUDA cores of your gpu to do the work. Windows 11 auto HDR doesn't reduce ANY performance at all. So in newer games windows hdr is preferable. RTX HDR is more for older games or games that doesn't use a lot of ressource from your gpu.
And if your hdr still looks bad after being calibrated in game, then your monitor is NOT nice at all. Especially if it's a LCD monitor, then SDR might look better all the time. HDR is really popping off on OLED panel.
Also, you just need literally 1 right click and 2 left click on your mouse to activate or desactivate HDR on windows 11. You can also turn it on or off using Windows + alt +B, so complaining about being forced to switch between sdr and hdr doesn't make any sense, especially when 95% of the content you watch outside of games are supposed to be watched in SDR, so you just have to turn HDR on when you are gaming and turn it off when you are not, it's as simple as that.
@@biglittleboy9827 Blah blah blah....Yes, I know how to activate and deactivate HDR mode. I don't need to try and belittle your intelligence with a response, like you feel necessary to do, just because I don't agree with you. I simply feel the system should auto detect which mode it should be in without the need for me to switch it. It really isn't that difficult, my TV does it ALL THE TIME. It's as simple as that.
Hello hope you can help me, I installed the new Nvidia app, but downloading the new drivers always failed, the date of Installed Driver is June 14, 2023. Thank you

What about safely overlocking your gpu through nvidia?

Doesn't work for me caused all sorts of graphic issues untill I uninstalled all Nvidia software and just installed the graphics driver.
Yeah, but does that add extra or more resource-hungry services?
I have no use for recording or effects, which is why I never bothered with Gefore Experience. I don't like the idea of overlays running either. I assume that can be fully disabled including any service it requires? I'll probably skip this too unless we're forced to use it or I find a valid reason for it.
If you watched the video you can see you can disable it
@@yoyobagg I'm aware you can toggle off/on but is a service still running regardless?
