The 5 quadrillion trees in minecraft kinda flash banged me with how impressive that is.
Minecrafts day-night cycle being so short would actually turn the planet into the equivalent of Mesklin - a hyper-earth rotating at such insane speeds that it's equator bulges out like a oblate disk, rather than a sphere. This also means the M.Earth's Equator would experience far less Gravity at the poles.
Also, the scale of the planet wouldn't affect its temperature, Earth itself varies in its orbit by a million kilometers, and that barely impacts the global temperature. 20 minutes in no sunlight won't make the night-zone freeze instantly.

i wonder what a spherical minecraft planet looks like using the large biomes preset looks like. maybe the biomes become more spaced out and we get a more normal land to ocean ratio

imagine minecraft is a planet that is hollow on the inside so if you fell through the void for a few IRL weeks youd fall on the other side of the planet. i hope theres someone utterly insane enough to make a mod for that
That’s rlly interesting, might talk about that in a part 2!
This will be a funny exploration of the hollow earth theory
That wouldn't be even possible due to the laws of phyisics,
Because the hollowness would violate the laws of gravity.
If it were hollow it would collapse on inself until its no longer hollow.

One thing to note is that more oxygen also implies larger insects. In prehistoric Earth, there used to be massive arthropods and insects. I wouldn't want to live in that kind of world honestly.
we already do see larger insects in minecraft.
Another thing to note is that everyone is infinity strong
Extremely underatted! Subbed alr
At first I was like "that's a bit fast innit" but then it kinda grew on me. You're straight to the point with this stuff.
There should be a mod that makes a minecraft finite, as in circular, so if I travel in a straight line from my home, eventually I'll circle back to my home, it's gonna be so interesting.
Holy sh*t you are so underrated I’m so glad I got recommended your channel

Great video! 😊
The idea that animals would be bigger would only be relevant to arthropods (bugs), as they breathe in a different way than other animals. It's one of the theories as to why during the Carboniferous period, the period with the largest amount of oxygen in the atmosphere, bugs were HUGE. Which also explains why spiders, silverfish, bees, etc. are so huge in Minecraft.
We be starting chaos on the new Minecraft planet with this one🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Such high quality content! You can't install mods in real life though can you?
1:34 Really neat video! Correction here, though-studies have found that oxygen levels during the Mesozoic were about the same as if not slightly lower than modern oxygen levels. Dinosaurs came in all sizes, but the biggest ones reached their masses thanks to anatomical adaptations for gigantism-not excess oxygen!
There *was* a period of earth’s history where oxygen made up ~40% of the atmosphere, but this was during the Carboniferous, which ended almost a hundred million years before the first dinosaur. The excess oxygen facilitated the growth of giant arthropods such as eagle-sized dragonflies and millipedes the length of cars, but they persisted after the end of the Carboniferous and the oxygen crash. They kept their big sizes due to a lack of competition from vertebrates, not because of excess oxygen.
part 2 please!
I thought the wiki said that minecraft's gravity was 16m/s^2, not 11m/s^2. Also, the size of the dinosaurs didn't have much to do with oxygen levels. Even the largest prehistoric arthropods appeared millions of years before the oxygen level spike.
Underrated
the Minecraft world has been constantly referred to as infinite (High Universal), but this clearly wouldn't work in the real universe.
"donkey kong 1 frame per hour" this happens because of the simulation speed of the game, redstone requires a lot of processing ppwer of our computers to do something and it has tickrate limits to just dont lag the computer
Actually, dinosaurs, depending on their ecology, became so massive because of their air sacs that gives extra oxygen, and in the Mesozoic, their oxygen levels varied around average, so even in the modern day, they’ll still survive even in low temperatures. Only insects do that because they don’t have any lungs.
Actually very nice, but it could be broken down a little slower and you’d get extra video time. It was a little hard to follow some of it but maybe it’s just me.
1:30 the only creatures effected by higher oxygen levels are arthropods (basically bugs). Vertebrates(animals with back bones) are not limited by oxygen levels in the environment
Arthropods breathe through diffusion. It's a process where oxygen passively absorbed in to the invertebrates body by contact alone. This only works up do a sertain size before it can't effectively support the body's oxygen needs. That's why arthropods are limited by oxygen levels in the environment for thire body size.
Vertebrates aren't bound by the limitations Invertebrates have because they actively breathe through thire lungs and can supply the body with oxygen more efficiently at any size that insects will never reach. The only limmit Vertebrates have to thire size is that they eventually physically can't support their own weight on land at sertain size.
i want part 2. also 3.9k views yay
This should be a mod, like a spherical world generation

If Minecraft were a real planet, it would be quite different from Earth due to its block-based nature and unique physics. Here are some speculative aspects of what a Minecraft-like planet might be like:
1. **Blocky Terrain:** The planet's surface would be composed of blocks, similar to how Minecraft landscapes are structured. This would create a very distinctive and geometric appearance from space.
2. **Biomes:** Just like in Minecraft, the planet would have various biomes such as forests, deserts, oceans, mountains, and more. Each biome would have its own characteristics and types of blocks.
3. **Infinite Terrain:** Similar to the game, the planet's terrain would be virtually infinite, allowing for endless exploration and generation of new landscapes as players venture further.
4. **Physics:** Minecraft's physics are simplified compared to real-world physics. For example, blocks can float without support, and there's no need for gravity to shape mountains or valleys. In a real Minecraft-like planet, these physics would need to be explained differently or suspended for the sake of gameplay mechanics.
5. **Creatures:** Minecraft features various creatures like animals, monsters, and villagers. A real Minecraft planet might have a diverse ecosystem with blocky animals and creatures roaming the biomes.
6. **Player Interactions:** In the game, players can mine resources, build structures, and interact with the environment in unique ways. On a real Minecraft planet, these interactions would likely have real-world consequences, such as resource depletion or environmental changes.
7. **Redstone Technology:** Minecraft includes redstone, a material that can be used to create complex contraptions and machines. A real Minecraft planet might have a similar resource that enables advanced technological development based on block-based logic.
8. **Endless Exploration:** Given the infinite nature of Minecraft worlds, a real Minecraft planet would offer endless opportunities for exploration, discovery, and creativity, making it a fascinating and dynamic place to live and explore.
Overall, imagining Minecraft as a real planet opens up a world of possibilities where creativity, exploration, and survival would take on a whole new dimension.
Good comment, a shame that almost nobody read it.
Chat gpt
ChatGPT ass
nice rap at the end
Wanted to add for entertainment purposes:
Larger oxygen does cause larger creatures, but this likely wasn't the case for dinosaurs as in the Cretaceous oxygen levels actually dipped below what it is today
If Minecraft suddenly accounted physics, the rotation and size of the planet would cause the centrifugal force to rip it in half...
Neanderthals likely weren't less technologically advanced. They just happened to go extinct during a time when no one was advanced enough
Imagine the fires with that amount of trees and oxygen🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀

Wait, this raises an important point. Would the Nether be below the planet's surface?

Did you assume equal density for Earth and the Minecraft World?
Deserts aren’t necessarily warm. They’re just arid regions with low precipitation. See Antarctica for ex.
True true, but considering that the deserts contains things such as dead bushes and no rain and Minecraft were intending at some point to add a new mob such as a vulture there, I’m fairly sure these are warm
bruh it almost crashed my computer vulkan mod
Minecrafts Planet is more like the other habitatable Planets. Most habitatble Planets are Land Planets and dont have as much water as earth. Much luck to survive in an flat world. Which would realistcaly not have grass at all.
Yes realistically everything would most likely die if the planet Minecraft had the properties of super flat yet still spherical, good thing we are talking about normal world generation instead
It would spin too fast and crumble into small VERY HOT (500-2000 F°) rocks!
20 mins is not good for a planet rotation time
🤓
The world look so messed up
The Minecrfat World is already round or a cube. Since there are sun and moon.
In game format it is just a flat plane dimension, the sun and moon in the game code are cosmetics in the sky to represent day and night, the literal map isn’t spherical, which is why I made it spherical in this video so that it can have properties of a planet
Also the moon of Minecraft should move in the sky and not stay at one place. If ity would stay on one place it wouldnt have night cycles. Also the sun is either near to the Planet or EXTREMELY large.
Again, that’s in the game code, if we apply this to the real world, the moon does not control when it’s night. I said I’d explain more in a part 2
@@Alledion Also there is ONE other possible known Planet in Minecraft.
@@Elgi72 yes Thankyou for this info elgi I shall address this in a part 2, this first part wasn’t meant to cover everything
