Over time they will use books to archive the people's information as accurately as possible, including full name, date of birth, previous phone numbers and addresses, etc. so for example when someone asks if they know where they could find a man named Victor Frederick Harley is, they could get back a clear answer on whether someone came in to confirm his death, his fate is undetermined, or if he is alive in which case they can plan a reunion.

Economy and social hierarchy is pretty useless in a game literally built to be infinite and regenerating. These “societies” would crumble fast as you can’t contain an entire army of full netherite people inflating the economy in your society.

@iijayk the entire concept of this video is based on the idea that SAO was created on...and to say it’s absolutely noting like SAO would be ignorant. But I’m glad you see where my mind is going I guess
what actually happens: Veterans and pros instantly get full diamond, potions, defeat the End and get elytras, eventually netherite, and then rule the world.
This reminds me of when Minecraft first came out, and I was just experiencing it with all my middle school friends and some cousins. I would always just think how cool would it be being a kid trapped in Minecraft with good friends and fam just chilling, knowing what to do and having a good time, no parents or school. I haven't thought of that in ages but this does bring up some pleasant memories.
You'd also need to consider how old Earth governments would try to partially or fully reassert themselves, with a lot of them probably manipulating, bribing, taking advantage of, or legitimately convincing veterans to share knowledge with them, assuming they can't just get it on their own. I think for example a Special Forces soldier, forced to be stuck in a game, would master it quickly.
for the first few days i would definitely run away from anyone until i see some sort of group/minecraft youtubers thats peaceful and just study what they do
This was one of my “still awake at 2:45 AM thoughts” and now it was made into a video by someone, so basically I won’t stay up at night anymore thinking about this
1 billion people would probably die on the first day. It seems like a big number but considering how many people don’t play minecraft, including babies and the elderly, it’s actually pretty likely
I think that actually there would be a large amount of people who have no idea what to do and just hide in holes in the ground. Another possibility with this is that they would end up working for the veterans in order to be taught and protected.
Honestly same. I feel like if this happened, after the initial panic is settled down veterans and skilled players would quickly start accumulating gears. After that they would mostly just either focus on searching for other people but a minority of veterans would continue to stack up and eventually get Diamond/netherite gears. They could then use these resources and either decide to form a group, or to force People to obey to them under the threat of violence. I honestly feel like if everyone was tped in Minecraft large scale governments wouldn't be as popular until years later since it's really easy to be self sufficient in Minecraft
iron/mob farms, cobble gens, emerald trading and unlimited food/plant sources our problems in our world would probably not be possible in there but instead will be replaced by overabundance and different groups of ideologists would probably say fuck this and start a an anarchy server again to replicate the first week
@@fralegend0152 hopefully not because the anarchists wont care wether you and your small village of friends are peaceful, they would just kill i mean within week1 all bon veterans will just die. No respawn or future generations will result in everyone dieing after a few years
I feel like 90% of the world population would just die in the first days. I believe that veterans of the game would eventually become the only ‘race’ left
Im not good but i know the basic bases, those your talking about would also help their families and friends, and those friends his families and other friends and etc...
I mean I feel like there’d be a decent amount of people who would understand the basics. I’m by no means a veteran (although I’m still pretty good at the game) I’d probably stay underground with a few other people I could trust
Imagine if they made diseases in Minecraft and you get them from villagers which can effect you and animals, and you have to drink a type of drink for the antidote
MagicGum: "the best pvpers are gonna be unbeatable" 1st day: technoblade forms the antartic empire and rules as it's leader 2nd day: Technoblade declares the great crusade to unite all of mankind 1 week later: God Emperor Technoblade has conquered the entire world

But if everyone is trapped PLAYING Minecraft on their PCs, then yes, Techno, Dream and other Minecraft creators will be gods.
Considering how Scicraft and Hermitcraft alone have proven just how much of the resources of the game can be farmed en mass. I don’t think that resources would be as scarce as you think. At least in veteran societies. Exhibit A: By episode like 3 of every Hermitcraft season there are crazy farms being built
Yeah Except people would try to stop each other from getting resources or try to break others farms because capitalism and stuff like demand "I am the only one with this resource in a 100000 block radius who can get it easily,i control the market"
@@Jpx0999Except that most people priority will be to first survive and accumulate resources before considering making a profit. Not to mention people would group up in groups and forms Militias if threatened/move out. @Airi mage racism isn't quite a synonym (some xenophobia targets groups that some don't consider races, such as polish, italian, and irish people), but it's a good comparison and there's a lot of overlap (anti-mexican bigotry in the US is both racism and xenophobia, for example) and yeah, xenophobes and racists are rarely ever fully consistent in their bigotry. they'll make exceptions for some immigrants but not others, and so on. they just want someone to blame their troubles on. (a note: "races" are kinda psuedoscientific anyway, so there's not a concrete answer to what ethnic groups and nationalities do and doesn't qualify as races, beyond how people who think they're important define them... which are often either racists, or victims of racism. it's not a great situation)

They’d either have to become pillars of communities forced to carry the burden of supporting non players or end up leaving to form there own colonies. Non players would eventually learn and become jealous leading to wars and death
@@Cherno35 ya I think that someone would still stay behind but I think most of the skilled players and gamers would probably all band together and popular Minecraft pvps or players would probably create a society together with other players and just let the rest die off and with them having so much knowledge of the game probably wouldn't be that scared of it and treat it like a normal Minecraft game and that would be scary in real life the players would probably start hunting down regular people who don't know about the game for fun and just see it as griefing and not make a big deal about it I'm talking about gang mentality type stuff
Realistically that wouldn't happen. Veterans would be one of the most valuable aspects of a groups due to possessing game knowledge. Veterans would be leader by default and would most likely become leaders in the future civilization that would happen
This comment completely ignores the human aspect. Most veteran would want to find their family and friend first, not to mention killing people is extremely traumatizing. Also all skilled players bending together would be impossible due to how isolated people and groups would be. The most likely outcome is that skilled players become the leaders of groups because of game knowledge and would act as the leading class for future civilizations
guys this actually exist in real life too. Irl, we could potentially skip night time if everyone slept at once. Its just never happened since there are so many people in the world
Though, one aspect would be that they would be more coordinated, since they're experiencing everything first person. Might make that a bit faster. Or slower who knows.
All of this assumes that when we get spawned in it’s just like playing on a controller or computer…………..if our consciousness really were inside Minecraft avatars then people’s Minecraft pvp skills would be nearly useless
When you can conduct a survival experiment on societies without the ethical constraints, still limited due to it being a game however the basics are still there that would somewhat reflect how societies in real life develop.
I feel like the divide between noob and veterans would go very differently than the veterans simply becoming a different nation. You need to keep in mind, in this scenario, everyone is there. The experienced players couldn't really afford to leave behind the noobs without abandoning their families, friends, etc. from the real world. I also feel like education would develop much more quickly, since there are already redstone experts like MumboJumbo out there, and there are probably at least a few thousand people with some degree of Redstone experience, who would be able to teach people the advanced game mechanics. It would be like if the stone ages started with a few people who could already create working cars and lightbulbs.
I subbed cuz of this vid in fact this was the first of his vids that I had watched and it just popped up in recommended, it looked cool so I clicked it
If this would actually happen then we have to count mods into this as well. While yes, some of the mods like Aether Ice and Fire, and The Twilight Forest would probably not exist than doesn't mean that tech mods wouldn't exist. That opens a whole new category of people who are good at automating and creating machines. Thing is, due to villagers, almost no resource is finite. I doubt there would be much conflict since you can pretty easily get any resources with villagers and resource farms.Society would probably become very agrarian, with each person having their own farms. The only meeting places would probably be villager trading halls.
Except that there would barely be any villagers because non-players accidentally killed them in the first day. The few that remained would be controlled by some faction who would either rule everyone or get killed by them. Basically, villagers would just be the new resource.

If everyone spawns evenly spread out (as in each person starts in the middle of 'their' 632 x 632 land, but its not like Factions they could go wherever they want and they don't 'own' it) meaning everyone would start much more isolated, and how this would play out would be extremely fascinating. and yeah, xenophobes and racists are rarely ever fully consistent in their bigotry. they'll make exceptions for some immigrants but not others, and so on. they just want someone to blame their troubles on.
(a note: "races" are kinda psuedoscientific anyway, so there's not a concrete answer to what ethnic groups and nationalities do and doesn't qualify as races, beyond how people who think they're important define them... which are often either racists, or victims of racism. it's not a great situation)

When all people spawn in at once: Entity cramming about to commit genocide
no, they'd all be spawned safe distance apart for the sake of this, infact their lattitude and longitude matching the x and z cords they'll get at spawn.
@@stm7810 people climbing Mount Everest: Guess I'll fall to my death then.
@@brianisgett1095 Lol, that's funny, though I didn't say Y cords since MC automatically spawns you on the ground, though if that's in an ocean then you'll die worse than from a fall.
@@stm7810 if we instead spread every person out over the whole of the minecraft map evenly, (60 million blocks x 60 million blocks) even with a population of 9 billion, we'd each get 400,000 blocks of surface to ourselves. That works out to about a 632 x 632 square of land for _each individual person_ . If everyone spawns evenly spread out (as in each person starts in the middle of 'their' 632 x 632 land, but its not like Factions they could go wherever they want and they don't 'own' it) meaning everyone would start much more isolated, and how this would play out would be extremely fascinating. Would people gather together and join large cities to survive? Would others make do with their large tract of wilderness alone? Both? It would be very interesting, especially given the difficulty of finding other people you know if you were all placed randomly and uniformly.
@@willmungas8964 I love your thought experiment!
