- Every person has a story, and this woman has quite the tale. She is the daughter of late comedy legend Jerry Lewis. Suzan Lewis lives on the streets of Philadelphia and carries her belongings around in shopping bags. Jerry Lewis never acknowledged Suzan was his daughter, and she only found out her father had died when a friend told her. "We can't follow news," she said. "We don't have a television." DNA tests established that there is an 88.7 percent certainty she is Lewis' daughter. #InsideEdition

Then he said he know that his (youngest) daughter is his because she's adopted.
Which make me believe if she was not adopted, he would deny her too.

@@sheenak3733 Gotta disagree, I grew up watching his films and thought he was hilarious, and he was. Too much is known about his off screen personality alter egos, he could be kind, loving and generous or a real tyrant, bully and extremely abusive in the name of art or his vanity. His own sons have spoken about these very qualities not to mention several people that worked with him or for him, he was capable of behaving like a sweet saint or tyrannical monster as he often did. I don't wish to besmirch your memory of him which is probably more a perception of his onscreen persona, as I once had, but once you start looking through the rubble he left in his wake you'll see the troubled and toxic person he ultimately was and all of the "loved ones" he hurt. It's difficult to enjoy his movies if you take that journey, so it's understandable if you choose not to. Best of luck.

"Miyuki Jades" However she was born in the 1950s and has to be in her 60s now. For the most part she cannot hope to be as employable as a person who is under 45 years of age. Furthermore from what I heard she was in a traffic accident years back and though she may basically be able to get around, she has to use a cane and cannot do very hard physical work. I think when she was younger she did some stand up comedy, but she probably cannot just go back to doing that now. If she is able to work a computer she might be able to find work doing that but since she was born in the 50s she might have to go back to school to learn coding or medical billing etc. She needs money now. She cannot just invest in a future career so easily. That is for someone who still has many decades of able-bodied-ness ahead of him or her.

After seeing some news about Jerry, it seems like he was a hateful, angry person in real life behind the smile and jokes. He mentally abused his first wife and five sons. Disinherited all of them, and left everything to his second wife and adopted daughter. Not surprised that he would not have acknowledged this lady as his daughter. While, in life nobody owes anybody anything, even inheritance, as you have the right to do what you want with your money, I find it unusually cruel that he so callously dismissed his family. What a sad legacy to leave behind.

His MDA telethon to help kids was his good side and his mistreatment of his own kids was his evil side. Humans can be so psychologically complicated and damaged. Is there proof that he is her biological father? The video says that there was a DNA test, but it was only 88%. You would need a 99% chance for a scientist to even consider it as a parental match. Also, even if she had a 100% match, it would depend on the laws in her state whether or not she would have any legal chance of getting anything.

It is a very sad thing to know that Jerry Lewis was not the wonderful kind person I thought he was. I'm terribly disappointed. For him to have that much money and he would not even take care of his Children after he died and leave everything to a second wife who is not even the mother of his children or at least most of them and to totally ignore the fact Susan existed that just goes to show you how twisted and shallow a movie star can be. I don't care how many other children he took care of and got help for that were sick it doesn't count when he turns his back on his own kids and leaves them on the street!!
