I’ve always loved the fact that I’m comfortable in my sexuality. I’m a straight man, but I love fashion, I perform musical theatre, I go to drag shows, I love to sing and dance, I have explored my sexuality in the past and confirmed that I am in fact straight. I think it’s important to just be comfortable with who you are, even if you defy the norm of what people expect from certain sexualities
This reminds me of that one baker Charlotte dated in sex and the city, who was quite camp in his mannerism and confusing everybody. I really loved a sentence he said, it was something along the lines of “I’m a patisserie baker in the gayest district of New York, if I was gay, I’d be gay. But I’m not.” I don’t like the series and I haven’t watched it in over a decade but the essence of that line always stood out to me. Behaviour and gender expression are so not the same as sexuality.
I'm kind of the same just the other way around. I'm gay but I'm not the outgoing "yass queen slay" type. I've only ever slept with, or thought about sleeping with, men. I'm an introverted tech geek who is more into the technical side of the arts and not the visual elements. The only theatre i go to is shitfaced Shakespeare where each cast member plays multiple characters and they randomly select one actor to get drunk before the show, it's great.
Being comfortable with who you are is just really calming. I was raised in a comfortable situation where I always knew that I wouldn't have to worry about how my family or friends would react if I ended up being non-straight. So I just go on thinking who ever I feel attracted I am attracted to or maybe if I ended up not being attracted to anybody. I have only ever had two crushes on guys but I honestly would never rule out being attracted to someone who identifies as a woman.

As someone who just discovered they are bi. Its really weird how certain lgbt folks treat bi people definitely. I expected more dislike from straight people but instead I've seen more from other lgbt folks. It's so weird to me.
@@SGT676 well welcome to the community! I came out when i was 14 and kids trashed me in school!! Bullied me and guys would always try to get me to kiss girls and just disrespectful things! My dad basically told me I was going to hell and denied it to this day he doesn't acknowledge it! But i thought once I was an adult I would be more accepted because I found my community...I was sadly mistaken! And it was so disappointing! I haven't ever been accepted being biracial and bisexual...idk I hope people in our own community start accepting us...

I identify as pansexual but I relate to you I remember one time I was in an Uber & the person driving was a lesbian woman & we were having a convo and she tried to discredit my sexuality by saying I should choose one & discredit this guy who I was seeing at the time who identified as bi and saying be careful hes gay 🙄

"Utah Mormon/LDS"? I'm from Utah and could never convert to "The Church" because of how unaccepting they are in general, among many other reasons. There are kind, accepting people within the church but as a whole, the religion and doctrine are the opposite of what they attempt to preach. I appreciate that you didn't get stuck in conforming bc so many feel the need to and they live in a continuous state of conflict and it's really troubling and sad.
