I would have thought that if you had fitted the feather board thin edge to the front the rain would have run off better ?. Terrific videos by the way.

Hi Matt, I am really enjoying the somewhat longer form. Also, with projects like these I can almost get a palpable sense of contentment coming from you. Very heartwarming, thank you!

As an American, I've gotta say I approve of using garbage bins as units of measurement. Anything other than metric!😀

Nice footage! I can stare easily on a project for half an hour with a coffee in my hand. Only fear is that water might rest on that shallow roof

The feather edge is the wrong way round. The rain wont run off properly the way you have it.

I think this type of project is one of the most enjoyable to do. Make it up as you go along and use all the surplus wood you can find. Looks nice with that Cuprinol external paint.

Matt - Your feather edge boards are the wrong way round! You might find water pooling on them like that as the angle of the board takes out your 12 degree slope of the roof, giving you lots of "terraced" flat levels.

I’m sure you were joking about being called a bad son or she is joking is she says that. I’m building a catio ( outdoor patio for her cats to go outside safely) for my daughter right now so seeing you build frames was reassuring I am probably doing it correctly. Interested in the way you did the roof. I may copy. Thanks.
