Especially when the voting site is made so tricky (on my computer with the cookie settings I use I never was able to vote). They could do something like dividing the vote between fans, the journalists and other relevant takeholders. Maybe something like 30% for the fans and the rest for the journalists etc..
0:09 slight bit of pedantry, in american football MVP is not equivalent to driver of the day/man of the match. As league MVP is for a whole season. A closer equivalent is the conference player of the week. Similar to driver of the day AFC and NFC POTW, don't necessarily go to the "best" athlete and usually are more about story than just performance
Very interesting video, however i think the title and/or the description should also include that this is about the DOTD until 2023 because it could be confusing for people who possibly see this video in a couple lf it gets recommended for whatever reason
I have learned a few things from this. 1. If you want to win the world championship you should not win driver of the day at the first race of the season 2. To win DotD you should have a terrible qualifing or a terrible start and then make up for it in the race 3. If you dominate the whole race you can (you 90% of the time will) still lose it to someone who made the race entertaining

For sure it wasn't Kvyat's fault, but from Grosjean's onboards, he was himself trying to avoid flying debris - so I think of it as a racing incident.
