How long the resing bag can be used?

Hi there. It all depends on your incoming water quality. Here is a rough table that will give you a good guess.
Soft Water up to 100ppm = up to 400 gallons
Medium Water 100 - 250ppm = 125 - 400 gallons
Hard Water 250 - 400ppm = 70 - 125 gallons
Very Hard Water 400ppm = 70 gallons

do you need use water that is filtered, or already softened to use this unit or just hook it up to a customers water source and use?
