    Maybe try a gardiners SLX
    That pole is quite whippy

      Brian Barber I would like to try that. I’ve also got the nLite hi-mod. That’s a good stiff pole.💦😃👍🏼

    Would it be worth me using a DI vessel first joined to this to lower the TDS as live in a hard water area?
    Thanks

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Darrel King This basically is a DI vessel, so it would just be like connecting two DI vessels together. I’m not sure it would be worth doing really. Probably better just to sort yourself out with a little RO kit.😃👍🏼

    Hi Ashley. What is your tap TDS in your area before going into the unger resin?

    • @chrisfarri8914
      @chrisfarri8914 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A.E.Mackintosh Cleaning Services thanks for taking the time to reply. Wow that is high. I’m using a triple di system and my tap is 170 bag of 25 litre resin lasts about 4 months after all 3 vessels are filled. Using around 600 litres a week.

      Nice one. Yes, I live in a very hard water area. Much better to use an RO setup and I’m looking into getting a van mounted system.💦😃👍🏼

    You may think this is a crazy question but I use a moped to do my work as I live in Spain etc.. Seems a lot easier with the small streets and parking in the summer, I was looking to buy a unger hydropower lite would you say it's to much to take is it heavy etc.. I currently do not own a van and it would help a lot with the hard to reach areas plus solar panels if you could let me known that would be great thanks

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, sounds like a good plan. You have got to start somewhere. It depends how hard the water is in your area. I’m going to do a video about this kind of thing very soon.😃👍🏼

      Thank you for the feedback, I love your channel and watch your videos every night thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge you sir deserve a medal , it has been very hard over here with covid and the financial crisis has hit us hard I lost my old job as a plumber and always wanted to get away from it, I am 28 and in the process of setting up my window cleaning business so once again thanks for the help one last question do you think the unger hydropower would be easy to carry on a scooter as it's my only transport I have at the moment is it heavy? Thank you 😊

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not too heavy, but there is a bit of weight there, especially when it is full of water.😃👍🏼

    What TDS do you change your resin at ?

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kevin Buckley 10 is the recommended time to change. I find you can let it go a little higher. I save used resin for jobs other than windows; fascia boarding, washing down guttering. Check out my vid.💦😃👍🏼📺 th-cam.com/video/7l6ozEuI22s/w-d-xo.html

    Thanks for vid, anyone know if you can use the one bag unit, single, hydro power di with a 45 foot pole? thanks

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan It depends on the pressure from the tap. If it is connected to a tap with good pressure, you should be good up to 45ft. But you might start to notice a drop in pressure at that height.😃👍🏼

    • @Nathan-wf1pr
      @Nathan-wf1pr 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@aemackintosh Thanks for replying to my question!
      If all water pressure being equal from spigot, is the smaller 1 bag the same as the 2 or 3 bag taller unit? My latest idea is to buy the older single bag unger unit because it is 350$ instead of $2000 for a zero skinny tall metal filter, and I would put more money into a 45 full carbon pole. Just didn't know if the 1 bag unit is only good for 20 ft poles ie. and you need 2 bag for 30-40 and 3 bags for 50-60ft, or the 2000 dollar zero unit is tall poles and the single bag unger small one is only for shorter poles. sorry i got this question so long here. take care

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the different size units will basically work the same, the only difference being, with the bigger units, you will have to change the resin bags less often.😃👍🏼

    How do you get the chemicals up the pole. Through the unger

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      James Downes You can’t go wrong with a bit of kit from Unger! I apply chemicals separately with a bit of spray equipment. Check the vid, 3Ways To Apply a Cleaning Solution.💦😃👍🏼

      I find most customers are used to having a trad man take some water and are more than happy to offer water.
      I guess they don’t realise the difference in quantity of water from trad to wfp but it’s only water
