I am only concerned with myself, my thoughts, my desires. My own small content. But wait, I can be free of that small existence, and be free from that small cage, like unlocking the door and walking outside, and as this awareness takes hold I realise i am now that awareness and there is no longer a me, and I am glad, the old me was pretty, narrow minded, but now, something else is flowering, something beautiful.

Question & Answer arise together..no distinction .. it happens as a decision when you ask yourself if you want to be born as you are aware you have already decided..& you know both as one.
Here's another way of looking at it, we look at a hand or a finger and we say; "It's a hand and this/these are my fingers or finger." We were taught that identification by parents or teachers but the hand not having consciousness wouldn't itself know the same way that a cloud wouldn't know that it's a "cloud" and all thoughts are "clouds" with no real substance or meaning if you take away the name or meaning that we were taught a cloud was.
Krishnamurti astoundingly equates “you” with “thought” a bit after the 2 minute mark. Hopefully he did not mean that. Because You are consciousness, therefore you are conscious of thought. Thought is not aware. You are not a thought. The ego is a thought.
Krishnamurti does not use the same terminology. By consciousness he refers to the content of thought and memories. Anything beyond that he does not name, rather maybe calling it "state of attention" from time to time. I think this is quite valid. As ascribing the state of being as "self" can be the beginning of a whole new ego based of this state of being.
Can we bind awareness /pragna/ consciousness to time…. Time is an illusion…. How can the timeless be bound to time…. The very fact of moment is absence of feeling of time….
No. Thoughts are not conscious. Only consciousness is conscious. Only awareness is aware. Awareness or consciousness is aware of arising and dissipating thoughts. Thought, not being awareness, therefore is unaware of anything.
What you are calling as thought is not different then consciousness, consciousness is always conscious of something in time or space that something in time or space if has not been there consciousness can not be, just like we call night as night beacuse there exist something called day if all that there was was night then night wouldn't have come into existence so are the two any different from one another similarly consciousness is simply movement called thought and thought is simply consciousness....
@@thskendjeo134 No, thought and consciousness are not the same thing. That the concept of day exists because there is also night, doesn't mean that day and night are the same thing. It means they are dual to each other. Also the duality between night and day doesn't translate to consciousness, because the existence of consciousness doesn't require the existence of thought. Only the ability to talk about consciousness requires thought, but consciousness itself doesn't require thought. They are not dual to each other.
Your idea of "i", is not different from whatever it observes as different. Therefore no duality. When there is an understanding of that... there is no need for all these complicated concepts of consciousness vs thoughts and what not.
No not that way. He wanted to say as the thought arises that thought can be aware of itself. It is the most difficult thing . Because you can't try to do it as a practice. Because the presence of "me" Is the absence of awareness

He does not want to give you an answer but make you enquire yourself. Yogis and gurus have given answers for thousands of years and it makes no difference. You can tell an alcoholic how drinking is bad for him and it wont make a difference unless you sit and make him question his actions, his motivations, supressions etc. This is no different

Yes, thought can be aware of itself...but it doesn't like it.

When only Consciousness is existing everywhere , thought also is consciousness only

Your obsession with an answer is part of the problem.
