When do you think you'll get it?
I locked my options and the reservation with a $1,000 down back in late January. They didn't provide a delivery date. I'm not in a hurry, so the delivery date doesn't matter. In other words, I'm okay waiting.

Had it for almost 2 months now. Prvious car was a Kia e-Niro - the Fisker blows it out of the water in every parameter. It drives really well and will get even better with the software updates. Yesterday was first sunny day since getting it in december - rode home with sunroof open, which was really nice even in 8 degrees.!

Hi, the KIA e-Niro is known as a really comfortable suv (soft suspension, good outside noise insulation and low rolling noise, no vibrations in steering wheel or pedals). How do you compare the Fisker Ocean on these aspects?
@@DBGE001 The Kia was my first EV and I loved it. But I must say the Fisker brings a smile to my face. It drives exceptionally smooth, much more stable at high speeds, with absolutely no steering wobble. The suspension is smooth and the cabin noise is lower than my E-Niro. I must say that once the final software falls in this next month's this is really solid.

Thank you for doing a little research into the car before giving a review. And, thank you for testing a car on software 1.11! Both things Auto Focus failed to do.
Your preparation and constructive criticism (lack of straight forward, unapologetic, whining) certainly shows a level of professionalism also missing from the Auto Focus review.

@CruorCanis I'm sorry Fisker hasn't produced the car they promised. I too was very excited for more than 2 years, but gave up 10% of my deposit when it became clear they were writing checks their butts couldn't cash

The FISKER Ocean Sport at $38,900 USD is a car for the general public. I doubt the general public even knows who Marques Brownlee even is. This car sells itself.
@@BartSantello more like, their reviews are being hugely amplified in the media, including general, and the general public thinking of buying an EV, will check on internet, find echos of those reviews, and decide that it is better to buy something else.
Beside the fact it doesn't qualify for tax incentives
Very good review. Thanks for learning about the car before reviewing it! I've owned the "Ultra" version of the Fisker Ocean for a few weeks now. No problems except occasional "radar fault" warnings. Best car I have ever driven, although it takes some time to familiarize yourself with the car and learn to drive it.

My Ocean Sport is ordered and I got the VIN # this past December. Soooooo much looking forward to this being my daily driver!
I test drove last year and knew IMMEDIATELY that this was a fabulous vehicle….

Great review! I have had my Ocean One for a few months now and it has been a great car. Certainly not perfect, but with every update , it gets better and better.

Good and proper video about a promising vehicle.
I didn't quite get that other Ocean review from that other channel, the one you referenced in your title, which I think was largely click bait and overly harsh.
Overly harsh? It is an interesting but buggy unfinished car. People should point these things out IMO otherwise people will not be aware of the state it is in. Would you rather trust a review who both points out good and bad or just a review full of "it is fine, whatever". The car industry is one of the toughest right now, you need to nail it, and that counts for all brands, old and new.
@@CyAn-S fine, yes I agree but apparently the other reviewer’s car didn’t have the latest software and he didn’t know about certain features such as the screen rotating or under seat storage. It’s almost like he was being paid by Tesla, whose cars are not that good in my opinion.

The Ocean is making waves and getting name recognition, plus FSR is also. The Fisker Electrified Tour to 17 US Cities, Super Bowl attendance and Canadian Auto Show. Test Drives adding up to thousands by end of March. Thanks for thorough video. Just the beginning for Fisker, EV industry as global expansion grows. Well judging from reviews it is quite a buggy unfinished car. And it is a tough industry, VW lost a lot of good will after the first few ID cars. Fisker should not get a free pass just because they are new. They still released a buggy car. And tbf MKBHD has not reviewed hundreds of cars unlike others. So for him it is probably the worst car.

Gotta love Milton Keynes ! California Mode, then straight to “I better get in out of the rain”!! Looks like no wiper on that rear window - probably difficult with it opening - but I’m sure American station wagons must have cracked that back in the day (?) Love that it has puppy windows. Must start annoying you guys to measure the height of the rear boot lip - so, how high the dog has to jump to get in. Had my measuring tape at the NEVO EV show measuring them ! Made a rough list that I intend to add to. Nerd alert !
Thanks for your review…you were so generous, forgot about lots of road noise and screen response seems slow and generally unresponsive. Also like many EV’s unfortunately…very intrusive beeping and bonging which given that EV’s could be so quite but these bongs are sooo painful and such a shame
Thanks for the comment Vincent. I didn't hide the road noise in the video and when driving it didn't find it too intrusive. Screen was slow, again I didn't hide it but as a gen 1 car, I know the future software update should help

You can spec the Ocean Ultra for the same price as a Model Y. So for all the rideshare drivers out there. You can get a 577km car with a much larger backseat than the Y for literally 6 dollars more than a Model Y. Fisker really has a compelling car here, despite what looks like a lot of hate from the tech world.
It does get a lot of hate from some Tesla owners and short sellers of the Fisker stock

Seems interesting overall but a few quirky things that might be worked out as they go along. Definitely one to watch for, especially after the initial run. The rear USB ports had me scratching my head - why do they need to fold away? a bit unnecessary.

It's definitely a lot better looking and cleverer than the VW ID4 anyway. Hopefully there will be a few Fisker models at the NEVO Show next year.

Driving fisker one for the past 60 days, driving experience is great and suspension is too good compared to tesla.
Though Fisker customer care resonses are slow, they are addressing the reported issues
One by one in each software version update.
Waiting for 2.0 software version that unlocks hill hold and the solar roof feature.
I'm looking forward to looking at it again with the new software update too

I had assumed the Fisker Logo on the badge was a representation of the Golden Gate Bridge…. California mode and all that.
But maybe just reading too much into the California theme.
That's what I was told!
Gorgeous with mix of cool features but some silly. Big issue for me are lots of complaints about quality of much of the electronics and many teething issues. The Solar roof seems more look at me than useful, particularly depending on where you live.
Software update coming I'm told so hopefully the Gen 1 gremlins will be gone. Solar is a gimmick unless you live in a very sunny country

Great overall review. However, I found it very curious that you NEVER mentioned specifically, which trim level of the Fisker Ocean that you were reviewing. You NEVER specifically mentioned that it was the Ocean EXTREME.... By the way, what tax rebates are currently offered in Europe. Currently the Ocean is NOT eligible for any tax rebates in the USA....!!!!!
Sorry I missed that point, I was sure I referenced it with the solar roof only coming on the top trim. Apologies if I did not. Tax rebates are per countries across Europe

The gloveboxes are those storage compartments under each front seat ... not sure why everyone needs them to be in a specific location? Try to think outside the box (get it? lol)

It would be interesting to know whether the solar panels are worthwhile given that we are at a higher latitude than the US (excluding Alaska obviously). I suppose once we know the price difference between the solar spec and the one below and the output of the panels then we can calculate how long it would take to make back the cost. I really like the boot window thing. I used to have a BMW that had a manually opening boot window. I didn't need to use it often but it was immensely useful when I did need it.
Solar really only a gimmick. Not worth the difference. The dropping boot window very handy alright

Sales raise $$$ for the California State Coastal Conservancy and the design uses the orange/yellow visuals of the iconic '66 surf film, ENDLESS SUMMER which compliments the Fisker logo.

Larger potentially or stream it to the central infotainment screen when reversing. It does this I think already. No, when there are 3 the climate needs to be controlled for the rear from the front. Easily done
When is it due in Ireland? Will it be direct sale or through a dealer?
Sealed bonnet? How to access brake fluid, fuses, 12 V battery, coolant, etc.?
Easy. Check the user manual available online
Remove a couple of bolts and it’s open, wiper fluid fill is by the wipers.

I recently got a new EV on a company car and this was not an option for obvious reasons. I see now in the UK it is 45K and at that price if you get a lease or your CC scheme does it it is more than worth it. I love its looks and features and think far better looking than any of its competitors. If I was looking seriously now, it would be up there but the risk of the company going bust and no cover if things break is the issue.
You only need to do one thing as far as i am concerned take a step back and look at the build quality of it to know its a top product before even driving it. Someone who goes to that level of design is not going to let it down with performance. Dannish people are all about quality and design if you know the company B&O you will understand what i mean.
I found the build quality mostly excellent. The tray was a little loose and the internal door handles could be better but the rest was very good. For a Gen 1 call I was impressed.
Europe and Japan need Fisker with solar roof! Watch!

fisher indirectly attacks the pockets of electronic generators, threatening a trend towards even lower consumption vehicles, great criticism is to be expected when you put your hands in the pockets of these groups and give advantages to the consumer, and secondly the vehicle is exquisite, the best quality price!

I am baffled over the whole situation where the major independent reviewers are promised press cars from Fisker but Fisker pulls out last minute. Bjorn Nyland and Kyle from Out Of Spec has reported on this.

After a couple of test drives of the Ocean after I cancelled my order, I find it very strange that the reporting on this car usually downplay the very incomplete software (both in quality and available features according to marketed features) and that the ride is no where near what Henrik Fisker has been touting along the way ("Drives more like a sports car than an SUV")

I would worry if you own or buy one. Do your research on this Fisker. NY stock is about to delist due to stock price crash. Bleeding money and have just enough capital to survive in 2024. Fisker has previous history of business going bust. I’ll be shocked if it survives can’t see any of the Chinese car companies buying Fisker why would they?

FSR could be above $ 1 this week.? 12 months to raise price to that level, revenue increases daily, monthly, each quarter from deliveries and growth in dealership agreements taking in inventory.

This car is garbage. I can’t wait for the day when it becomes a $60,000 brick. Then all those buyers who are ripping people honestly reviewing it. They will get a dose of reality. This vehicle is made by a company with no future. It’s unfortunate. But it’s reality. Don’t be one of them. Evs that don’t have constant updates anymore become outdated FAST. If it had been delayed by 8 months to 1 year. Maybe the outcome would be totally different. But they rushed it out. Made all of the early adopters beta testers

I have an Extreme and it is superb , plain and simple.
You obviously haven't test drove or owned an Ocean. 45,000 reservations, expanding new dealerships in North America and Europe. Over 6,000 on the road and number increases daily.
