I really like the overall style of this car. It's also about the right size for me with a couple of self driving young adults about the house, I don't need the SUV anymore. Excellent review. And actually I prefer not to see too many reviews of the ultra high power versions as I really doubt I would ever buy one.

Thanks for the comment. The BRABUS is for a certain type for sure. Definitely take it for a test drive

As an owner of two Smart cars ,it is sad as they will never make it to Australia. I’d buy one tomorrow!

Australia will get it eventually. It’s just recently launched in Malaysia and next year Thailand. Oceania after that.

I’ve just rewatched your review of the #3 We sat in one at the everything electric show on Saturday and I loved it. It’s gone to the top of list for my next EV. I think Pro+ is enough for me. I don’t like the premium wheels at all and I don’t think the extra kit on Premium is worth the extra money over the Pro+ I’m thinking of getting it in all black or the yellow with a black roof 😊

I would definitely opt for the 22kW AC charging. Really like the discreet button for the tailgate in the Smart badging. 👍👍

I'm not a big fan of the looks of many EVs but now I can add another to the list. Looks good, sounds like it's a good drive, good to have a storage bin at front for cable which I miss in mine. One I'd add to my list if I was at replacement stage.

Quality shines through. Niche market I agree. As always price will determine sales. Smart have always been good. Nice to see the Chinese influence has not changed that.
    Side mirrors as an alternative?

@@NevoEVReviewIreland Had a smart for a hire car and liked them. Yes I would consider but the competition and price might favour others. looks like it will be a year or so before I buy a second EV and then it might be secondhand.

Hey Derek! Question about the headrests, was it comfortable for you? I assume you because you didn't mention it, but im curious if you noticed its in the way since i had a test drive and noticed for me (I'm also your height) I found it just slightly too low, as my spine was hitting it sometimes.

Looks nice but not mad about the wheels they remind me of Caption America's Sheild. The price point will be interesting, probably hovering around €50k but you can see the quality in the fit and finish.

I am considering buying a #3 but am a bit afraid of the firmer suspension, do you experience it as uncomfortable? is it really a big difference with the #1, I did a test drive with the #1 and thought it was very good, although a little firmer wouldn't be that bad as long as the difference is not too big, in Belgium #3 is not yet available for test drive, but I am considering ordering without a test drive

    • @NevoEVReviewIreland

@@NevoEVReviewIreland I just tested the #3 Brabus because that was the only one they had available, of course because it is the Brabus the suspension was too stiff for me, but what bothered me the most is the sound insulation, compared to my Volkswagen Golf 7 the # 3 is very noisy inside, really too loud for me and is also the reason that I will certainly not buy the #3, I also drove the #1pro+ and found it a bit quieter inside, still not as quiet as my Golf7. I'm going to do a 2nd test drive with the #1 tomorrow to find out again whether I find it acceptable or not, maybe I'll buy the #1 then

@@NevoEVReviewIreland I am 187cm tall and I was able to sit behind myself in #1. with a sliding bench and adjustable seats, I got even more boot space than #3.
this is not a car for driving with 4/5 adults anyway.
at the same time, it's shorter and easier to park. all we miss is probably newer software and maybe ventilated seats (while they are present in #1 manual, so my guess it was just cost-cutting decision while tech is there)

Ex30 single extended range or #3 premium? Which is the best in driving experience and the build quality?

    • @SerialKoE
      @SerialKoE 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

EX30 can achieve good interior build quality very easy, as it`s almost an empty box. I was extremely disappointed from that interior. Looks a bit like Fiat Uno from the 90s. The #3 is an entirely different thing but sure, it depends on your personal taste and preferences.
