I have a very bad situation with Gas bike .never answer the calls or put you on hold for very long time I ORDER A COMPLETE BIKE SET UP . I got only many parts and still no solution for them I call my credit card and dispute the purchase.I using BIKE BERRY to finish my bike.good luck to you.thanks for share this video for the new people who wants to start a project.
+Benjamin La puente Sorry to hear that you had what sounds like an even worse experience than I did. I'll definitely check out Bike Berry again. Thank you very much and have a great holiday!
thinking about a board tracker racer build... if gasbike.net and bikeberry is apparently trash then what would you recommend.......? No like seriously cause all this time and research on registering these things because you have to get a vin made is already a pain. What other company would you reccomend besides bikeberry and gasbike
Well how to describe my experience with gas bike. Let me paint a picture for you. I purchased the Thunder Shark Pro racing kit for 389.00 and should arrive in 4 to 6 days and I will be getting a tracking number from FedEx. A week passes and no tracking number so I call they tell me its on the way I will get a tracking number today and I do get one and 3 days later my package hasn't moved so I call FedEx they told me that gas bike made a shipping label with them but never gave them a package to send, Which happens quite often with this company she said. ( kudos gas bike that's pretty sneaky.) So I call them back and they tell me that the whole problem is because the Dio reed valve and Zeda racing cylinder with the carburetor assembly is out of stock and I will get that at the end of the month but until then they would send me a free stock cylinder so that I can get started on breaking the motor in. So the engine arrives I get it up stairs and open it up and there's about 10 parts missing not only was the stock cylinder missing (that I was to get for free) but the piston too! How the Hell is this motor supposed to run. So I call and talk to them several more times and finally I get the stock cylinder and piston but no lock rings to hold the wrist pin in place so that it doesn't score the cylinder walls. OH! here the best part although missing many of the precision parts I decide to put the piston on anyway and I get down close to the crank case to mount the piston and I smell gas. How does a brand new crank case smell like gas unless it's been used. I don't know but I'm pretty sure you can't sell used parts as new. I believe that brakes criminal laws. And that's not to mention the motor kit shows a picture and a list of what you get for your 389.00 dollars I was told that they would not send me the bracket that is in the bottom left corner of the picture nor would I get the stock head with the center hole that is in the list. I believe that's called false advertising. I guess my only recourse is small claims and talk to an attorney about false advertisement and selling used parts as new. Well everybody that's my experience with gas bike. PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE YOURS! Find another company but be ware I think Kings motorbikes is a different branch of gas bike. Good luck People!. VERY VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!.
GasBike.net doesn't care who you are. We pretty much fased them out. When Jose was there it was cool. I dealt with Lorenzo and it went bad fast. When he realized who we were and how much I had purchased he got better to deal with but it was kind of too late. We switched to Predator 79cc with Bully Clutches or torque converters. We don't deal with 2 strokes anymore. We adapted our gas bike business away from most venders including bikeberry.
Long Beach Gas Powered Bikes I'm going to build a motorized bike but my problem is I don't know a reliable place to get one, do you know anywhere I can get one that is reliable and a good engine my budget is 150$
From my experience if your going order online gasbike.net is ok and I've got a lot of kits from them. I won't waste my time calling them. If your in the So Cal area Venice Motor Bikes 310 210-7396 is a solid deal. Norm sells his kits at 180 and stands behind 100 percent. Another good option is Matt Toney of Why Pedal Az Motorized Bikes(480) 287-7770. Norm and Matt know every aspect of 2 stroke and motorized bikes.
Yes. They were extremely rude. And they still have not answered back to my email I was told I was required to send first with pictures of the damaged items. I've tried to call back a few times, no one answers now. Will keep trying to get through tho...
i just made purchase from them and did get what i ordered. they did not send all the parts and when i asked about the missing parts and when they get them they would send them. my question was why didn't you tell me you were out why did wait until i called and asked and then put me on hold till i gave up,and i have been trying for two days. With no luck, but their in for a big surprise when i beat on their door because im alot closer then they realize and he wont like what i have to say.
Yea I sat on hold with them forever too. Lost a sale. I went to thatsdax and bought a 4 stroke kit. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!! so to Sinister, would you please take a look at his site and look specifically at his belt driven paten pending clutch and post your thoughts? Mine… his clutch cover is pure home made garbage. My neighbor actually cut a piece of PVC which we screwed over the top, I painted that black and it at least looks better. But it may actually be rubbing, also reports on a few forums say these spring loaded clutches have issues. I just finished getting this bike together, keeping rides close to home, but I fully expect this clutch to fail. What type would you recommend?
so i need a reccomendation for a 4 stroke. im just gonna get the jackshaft, and do my own mounts. i was looking at tiller motors... idk what a good 4 stroke comes in, chainsaw, weedeater, idk... thanks!
+shleleeep fastrracing Good morning! I always go with the kits due to the fact that they are made for it and bolt right up. I never messed with an engine that was made for something else before so unfortunately I wouldn't have any suggestions.
Sinister Custom Cycles oh okay i see thank you! i may get a 4 stroke kit, with jack shaft shift kit. do you recommend any good 4 stroke kits? also, are you opposed to jack shaft shifting for any reason? thanks alot, im trying to get some transport to work haha!!
+shleleeep fastrracing I've ran the 4-stroke 49cc engine kits on all my builds and have had the T-belt drive and one chain drive. Always go with the belt drive! Less maintenance and much quieter. I never had a jackshaft kit but did quite a bit of research on them. Your bikes gears and chain were made for human power and definitely not any more. A jack shaft kit will work and give you much better torque range and top speed, but go easy on it. When you shift leave way up on your throttle and maybe even peddle a little until the gear shift is complete and then ease back in to the throttle again. If you're shifting when you have the load of the engine on the gears you're going to be going through chains and derailers like socks.
Sinister Custom Cycles absolutley! where do you buy your 49cc engine kits? i like your builds, and insight! i saw bikeberry had 4 strokes... also some other websites... and i totally agree about the jack shaft shifting, id definetly go easy on it... the rear deralleur can easily spin too fast and blow. thanks!
+shleleeep fastrracing Well, I used to get all my engine from Gas Bike but after the last issue with my clutch I'm searching for another company. Thank you very much for the compliment I appreciate it! If you want to keep up on the updates for where I'll be getting my parts from going forward go to Facebook.com/sccmn. I put a lot of info on there that doesn't warrant making a video for on this channel.
Lol same kind of thing happened to me I had bought a wide pedal crank kit fandor a 79cc build they forgot the damn left pedal arm I called them and they said "I'll send this to the warehouse dept and it will be shipped in next 24-48 hrs". IT NEVER CAME I waited for a few weeks for the part to come and then I emailed them and they said you have to notify us of missing part within 7 days which I DID when I called. I am so annoyed.
i like the bikeberry quality but the shipping cost is fucking expensive, not sure if its just cause im in Canada but it was 34$ shipping for a 25$ performance CDI,
Realistically, you pretty much voided the guarantee when you sanded it on your own in order to make it work. You never should have done any type of "fixing it" on your own and plus...it's on your bike getting wear & tear. How long ago is "a while back" anyway? A week? A month? A year? I think the guy was actually pretty obliging considering you've had this motor for sometime now, you've physically altered the product by sanding it, AND you've been getting use out of the product for x amount of time. & they would STILL be willing to look at a picture to make an assessment. Wow!
Can you review bikeberry before anymore people get taken advantage of. I've been trying for a week to get my engine replaced. They're doing the same thing as gas bike.net. Not even sure they'll honor the 6 month warranty. I bought a stage4 package that blew its rings on 16:1 fuel at the end of 2 gallon break in. Didn't even get to Port match or put my new rims on it
I'm so glad I used PayPal to order my 4 stroke mount plate from gadzbike mount plate bcs they sent a garbage piece that had bad casting flaw in the frame cutout and one of the slider screws was way off center from the track so it would not screw in unless the slot was ground out. I took pics, sent them as directed, they took 2 weeks no reply, so I email again and they try give me the runaround "we'll see if you're eligible for a refund..." blah blah another 2 weeks no reply no $ nothing. again I write, get same copy pasted response so I make a claim with PayPal, saying I had no idea they would send out a defective part the website mention nothing about it being unusable or needing modified to actually be installed, I want to return it or get 50% refund/store credit. PP sided with me, froze their account (lol hahahaha!) and 3 hours later I got my full refund 100% of the purchase. they sell junk and don't care what it looks like just slap a label on a box (many many days after they get your money) so like 3 weeks shipping?? jeepers. I still have that plate and threw away the cast iron sliders, using the steel plate for it's bolt pattern, make my own mount from it. never again deal with these bums, esp on their site. BAD customer service but if you buy from nationwideaccessories on fleabay, at least you have some recourse if they send out bad parts (which is common. they get the cheapest parts they can from China) BicycleMotorWorks, Staton-Inc, MBRebel and couple others are outstanding with their service and better level of parts. I don't shop from any1 else now
Agreed. If you don't have a middle man service like Paypal to rip the money out of their hands when they give you a bad product. Your just gambling with wether or not they'll honor their end of the deal.
worst service ever talked to me like I was crap I to got a bad part and they would not replace it even sent the photos and 1 and a half months latter and 80 call still wouldn't replace it
+DJCryptoKnight I think I used them for my very first build and then for some reason switched. I'm going to check them out again and see if they have what I need. Thank you so much for the comment and suggestion! Have a great holiday!
My name is Sam, I am one of the owners at Gasbike. I am so sorry for the troubles you had with us. Please reply to this message with just your order number and will be in touch with you soon.
Sam - have a word with Steve about his absolutely shocking customer service skills and then look into my attempt of you guys sending out the right piston for the engine kit that I bought in good faith off you. order #35462 - Wrong piston is the email subject that I am getting nothing but sarcastic, rude and dishonest replies from.
Gav Lee, Did you ever get this issue resolved? Just wandering, ordered some parts from them last week, received them Sat. Supposed to have been 2 day delivery deal but took extra time. I blamed USPS for delay, probably due to flooding out west. Wanted to talk with them before I ordered the parts but could never get though to them and took a chance. Looks like I might have lucked out on my order. Still working on putting bike together. First one I've built and having to work out problems as they come up. Fortunately I have a machine shop and can make or modify most parts I need. Would still like to to find another parts supplier as I want to build a FAT Bike later this year for a BO/SHTF type bike. Anyone have any suggestions please let me know.

When you diss GasBike and Bikeberry and say their products are a waste of money, yet you still buy the products.
Jacob Mason bikeberry has good products, gas bike is shit.

all seven dislikes from gasbikes. net
What's a good trusted site to buy motorized bike kits?
i just made purchase from them and did get what i ordered. they did not send all the parts and when i asked about the missing parts and when they get them they would send them. my question was why didn't you tell me you were out why did wait until i called and asked and then put me on hold till i gave up,and i have been trying for two days. Thanks for the video. Some of us absolutely refuse to use Facebook. Never. But thanks anyway.
It seems these guys run a number of sites with the parent company being Nationwide Access, LLC
Yes. KMB (Kings Motor Bikes) is another company they own and you should steer clear of.
Never had a bad experience with them! They threw in free stuff for me and were super cool!
Trevor Laws bullshit

motor kit wise should i go to bikeberry or gasbike ?
I Had missing parts and gave up on them after being on hold for hours. that is how they get you to give up.

Rat bike customs
they never send discount codes
GasBike.net epic fail
tried them once was so disappointed I had to write a bad review
Gasbike uses ebay as well. If there is any problems ebay will handle it.
go power sports.com might have something that could help.
+noah_cockerline 17 Thank you very much! I'll check it out! Happy holidays!
