Had the same problem with my Audi a3 2.o tfsi. Swapped the purge valve for a new one and it ran like a dream for a week a d now same problem is happening again. Could anything else be causing purge valve to fail. Hopefully I just bought a dud purge valve from euro car parts so gonna check it and go from there.

I also got a P0441 code in my dash...on a 2012 VW Jetta 1.2TSI. In my car smell like gas/petrol like crazy inside when I turn on the air. Hope changing the valve will remove the smell also...man I can turn on the heat in my car becouse after 2 min I can't breath in it. Cheers!

Great video, just a quick question. I've got the same error code which has just come up on my Audi tt TFSI after it feeling jerky and slight misfiring from the exhaust pipes. Can this procedure work or would I have to acquire different parts?
THanks mate, tbh not to sure with that, I would check spark plugs first for misfiring and then maybe change out the part if spark plugs seem fine...

Check your fuel cap is tight first and clear the code. My fuel cap seal is dodge. Any time i fill up or clean around the fuel cap i get this code.
Ive tried diagnosing the fault. My evap purge valve clicks when powered and dont seem to be broken. Still every month the error code comes back? I couldve just replaced it but throwing parts at any particular problem isnt really a good practice generally
I have the same issue. 2.0 tfsi 2010 Audi A3. I replaced the valve, error code is P0441 and it still comes back. If you solve this please let me know! I will as well, i guess i will try with the canister now.
Did the new canister fix it? I've changed the N80 valve and the filler cap and still getting the error. Would be good to know what else it could be!

Hi did you have only p0441? Or P0420 ass well? Do you have ori downpipe or upgrade downpipe,sometimes this may happen after downpipe change and I think solutions is tuning software however I'm not 100% dure
Got this code on my A3 and I've got the same ramair intake kit. Do you think it's anything to do with the intake kit?
Don't think so matt. more to do with Audis just been needy lol...I ran mine with it and it never caused any issues... just annoying...

TW Randomz Okay mate. Turned out to be a oil control valve which was bring up multiple codes. Got that sorted now notice the revs sticking slightly. With the code of p2261 but no engine light...

I have the same error code after filling my gas tank top full which I usually don't. Is this a coincidence or not??
Check your fuel cap is tight first and clear the code. Had the same issue. Dodgy seal can trip the same code
Mine has this does it also cause misfire aswell??
Have this same error in my skoda superb. Service centre quoted me a big sum for the repair so I didn't get it done at that time coz I had the error for a while with no obvious issues in driving. Now almost a year iam driving with that error code in display bt no issues yet in the car.. can u provide me any insight into wat should I do ? Car is driving fine bt I am not aware of its exact function.
I've cleared the code using a scanner. The car runs fine. I'm going to inspect the wiring and vacuum line to make sure there are no problems. You may want to do the same, clear the code then inspect. If everything looks OK and the car runs fine then happy driving!!!

+Jimmy Sharp it did but then it has come back in all honesty, which means it charcoal canister. However engine noise has decreased and where it doesn't affect performance it's not something I'm rushing to change. Each car to their own, I have heard it to never come back on some vehicles...
+TW Randomz i have a question so i have a 2001 audo a4 1.8t i am new to audis but some what skilled with working on cars anyways i been having this issue with mine i replaced the purge valve with a cheap one and light came on again and read same code evap insufficient flow decided to tlk to my buddy who works on cars too that knows cars even better then me he checked my whole evap system from tank to intake said no leaks but did notice that the purge valve i had would randomly intermittent so he said buy the original one get this cheap crap out so i did and im still getting the same code you think from what i just read i might need a new charcoal canister? this lil issue is becoming a lil pain in the butt any info would help thanks
I cannot take down the power cable. Seems stuck or too tightly detached.
Unfortunately there’s no real solution other than to maybe free it up a bit with a tiny flat Head screwdriver, something like the watch screwdrivers and be gentle. That’s my solution for stuck connectors, just be very careful or it won’t hold firm when you clip it back on.

I just seen today my last mechanic broke the plastic piece on a vacuum line connected behind my engine that runs the purge valve I almost bought another evap purge valve until I seen it
Tim Williams that sucks man what else was the problem did u ever find out ? Someone told me it could be as little as a gas cap
never found out mate. I did hear the gas cap thing but its never been resolved lol...forever a mystery I guess...I just always had a little OBD scanner in the glovebox to reset it so I could see if anything else went wrong and know what it is...good luck matey!

I don’t own this car anymore but I have heard it sometimes has this error when the car is filled to max with petrol. Maybe fill car only 80% for a couple months and see...

@@MrPeanutTiger i had the same issue. came on after filling up. Quick fix dude told me to check the fuel cap was tight. think it trips the code because there is a lack of vacuum.
What do you mean "reset it"

I mean reset it as in using a scan tool or similar to clear the DTC engine light on the dashboard if you have that error..
