Nice Cobb addition, Rick. Classic shot of him with the high sock and split hand grips. Good luck with the cards sales. I look forward to seeing what you acquire.
Hi Rick, really awesome pickup. I know where Brantford is, that's my hometown. I'm going to have to ask around town, if anyone heard of them. Yes, I know Wayne, played a lot of baseball with him growing up. He was one of the best player in baseball also. Thanks for sharing Rick, talk soon my friend.
I understand the William Paterson house was on Chatham and Charlotte street and now it’s a Montessori School. His factory I guess once stood on Colborne street behind the Royal bank. Very cool history.
The 23 hockey set you can redeem for skates. Like the honey boy cards you see a large hole punch at the bottom of the cards. The hockey cards were placed in packages of Hockey League chocolate bar Not much info on the baseball cards. Always fun doing the research
That’s a nice score Rick! I actually bid on some of those last month and wasn’t sure on pricing due to scarcity. It’s definitely an issue you don’t see often especially coming from Canada.
What an incredible card! Even with the holes, I wouldn’t consider that a beater because of what it is and how great the rest of it looks. Awesome awesome stuff as always. Take care Rick 👊🏻⚾️
Some of your viewers who don't post videos have amazing collections. Mine is just a modest one. But you have some incredible cards. I hope to one day say I can afford a Cobb. For now- I'll have to settle for the corn
Nothing wrong with a modest collection. I’m sure you agree. To some I have a modest collection Everybody collects differently. I get just as much fun researching and hunting for cards than the card itself. Are you going to the National? I would love to meet you.
@@vintageoddballcards6103 I appreciate it, but unfortunately, no. I won't be able to attend the National. What makes it even more disappointing, the R&R (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum) is right in the same proximity! :[
Incredible card Rick, congratulations on the beauty. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Orlando!
Gretzky!!! Love that card Rick. Congrats. Counting the days until the national. Looking forward to hearing about ‘Rick’s yard sale’ hahaha

@vintageoddballcards6103 you are spot on with the image, too. I'm not sure I have seen the images they use on any other issues.
Gave a video like - Great Ty Cobb card! Thanks for sharing, Rick!
Thanks!
What'd you say Rick? I couldn't pay attention because I was looking at that Don Mossi rookie behind you.
Good eyes!!!!

Holes were from redemption for a pair of skate’s supposedly

Rick, very nice pickup. Who cares about condition of very rare cards, it’s just great to own one. Excited to see what I’m going to but from you.

Awesome card. You aren't kidding about guys with ridiculous collections not on TH-cam. This is true for vintage Japanese cards as well.
What an incredible card! Even with the holes, I wouldn’t consider that a beater because of what it is and how great the rest of it looks. Awesome awesome stuff as always. Take care Rick 👊🏻⚾️
Thanks David! Hope you’re having a nice long weekend
Incredible card - congrats on the addition to the collection
Pretty rare Cobb card - never seen that card or heard of that manufacturer! Can't imagine what the Ruth would go for!!
Love the rare cards! Even if they look like they’ve been run over by a truck lol
Beautiful card Rick! Congrats! Most collectors would be thrilled to add a rare card like that to their collection!
Thanks Jim!
Rick have you lost your mind? lol. But for real, great find, congrats on landing that to the collection.

Really cool Cobb card regardless of the condition! Congrats on the pickup Rick!
Thanks John! Love the rare beaters
I thought Gordie Howe was born in Floral Saskatchewan Canada?? Haha just kidding. Awesome Cobb piece. Great pose photo of the Georgia Peach
Howe might be!
Great addition, yes Brantford, home of the Great One, the Telephone and Stepheh at RipFan 8
I guess William Johnson was a big wig in town I read his house is still standing. Thanks for the info on Stephen RipFan8
LOVE IT RICK!
as for selling, no worries we've all done it before :)
Thanks Eric!
Hard to beat a scarce Ty Cobb card you rarely get to see Rick. Nice card , congratulations !
Love that Cobb--- Soooo cool!!! (and not a real beater)
Looks like it was in a mini binder! 👍
That’s what I think. It would be cool to find out.
Sweeeeeeet!!
More holes more fun! Or is it flags? I forget… 😂
My ex had three holes
lol
Hole-y crap! Nice Cobb!!
