I met him in Kanazawa, Japan on Monday. We chatted for about 10 min. at a local store. We were the only customers. I told him that I was attending his show with Eric Clapton that very night. He is the nicest guy. What a wonderful experience!
I love everything about this song! The lyrics are moving, the drums are great, percussion, Steve’s organ, and his singing. It’s right up with Sade’s cover of the song.

I tend to not nitpick on the audio of live tunes. Totally dig the sour notes, missed and/or totally fucked up lyrics..every single version is different in little ways. That's why I collect vintage bootlegs. Takes me a bit to sort thru whats worth saving..I wouldn't have it any other way!
Steve is most certainly a music marvel. He's a genius who can play all instruments in his taping sessions.

Jools piano adds nothing to this classic. Steves mike needs to be louder and the drums a bit softer.
Diisagree. To me, it adds another layer so you can concentrate on Steve's lead. Agree about the drums, though.
