To be fair.... I would have no idea how to time stamp conversations with Mrgirl. For multiple reasons. He may as well just stamp it as, 00:00 - End: Destiny and Mrgirl tempt fate.
mrgirl is like watching a train wreck in slow motion, but just before the collision the train does a back hand spring into a 720 spin, lands on its train-balls without flinching, looks back at you, and winks.
MrGirl is that character who shows up halfway through an anime arc and is bizarre as fuck, but occasionally says vaguely ominous stuff so you can't just stop paying attention to them.
@@gavinhayes12312 You don't think Destiny would immediately nuke every bridge in I'm existence if he could actually say what he wanted without limitation?
Just because an opinion is not mainstream does not mean it has value. Holocaust deniers are dumb and bigoted losers regardless of how edgy and cool they think they are.
As someone who watches him, I can say he does it pretty purposefully. Usually when he sits in silence he's either 1) trying to make the other person think 2)thinking himself 3)fucking with the other person. It's never malicious or anything. Also he does want destiny to like him. He already said he likes destiny. Destiny's the only guy who's been pretty cordial, and they get along. He wants to be his friend. I wouldn't say that's bad.
I disagree with almost everything this guy believes. But god I love him. He’s so honest, he’s not ego-debating, he’s just genuinely trying to figure it all out. He seems willing to be wrong and genuinely tries to understand destiny’s points.
This is legit the best comparison. Amos was dumb af but people defended him just for free speech. Mr girl is kindof a genius, but there is a massive screw loose.
@@Substantial-hf1rm listen to his music, look at the video production, how he throws himself into the worst possible rethorical debates, and its fairly self-evident MrGirl is talented, is knowledgable, but also very weird and at times creepy af

I have become a huge fan of mrgirl. I really enjoy the odd chemistry these two have. I'm also a new fan of destiny even as a self described conservative. Very interesting and productive conversations. Good content
@@markallen6433 Generally yea, but even in this vid Destiny said he reads top comments. But even if only August reads this and talks with Destiny, great!
@@p_quruta1726 wait but @bloom is right. He can empathize with anyone, the pedo, the school shooter. He's saying we should all lend more empathy to any dehumanized group.
ya i saw another commentor saying that that was cringe, but it's obvious why a smaller creator would want Destiny to like him, and I'd prefer to see someone be forthcoming about that rather than trying to hide it
I love the pacing of this conversation. I feel like I can actively digest what they're talking about instead of having to focus intensely and/or pause to take notes or some shite.
this guy is a masterful troll, a real artist. he doesn't seem insincere at all but his affect and bluntness is so precision tuned to make people upset.
Yes, but let’s not pretend he is anything other than a troll. He’s not some profound, enlightened thinker who is simply misunderstood by all the sheeple.
@@bcs259 he's being a troll to an extent. The slow talking and long pauses is not how he really speaks, I watched a video of his and his speaking patters are completely different. He's attempting to come off weird and make others uncomfortable. That said, the dude probably does like them young, because he's willing to cultivate that type of audience. If you're comfortable having an audience full of pervs it's probably because you're one yourself.
The most interesting thing about MrGirl right now is how people's reactions to his character show how they view the world and what they want and expect to see in people. Just the comments here range from one extreme to the other. I really want to see where this goes. The Amos Yee ending would be beat the GoT ending in atrocity so hopefully not that.
I didn't believe Amos Yee was a pedo until he was arrested. So I'm a more suspicious of people now than I was. I don't have any evidence Mr Girl belongs in prison, but I wouldn't let him look after my children.
@@razzle_dazzle to be fair, there’s at least some level of security when you get a babysitter. Either a relative/friend, or someone who babysits for a job. Obviously this doesn’t make it 100% secure but still, I’d reckon it’s probably a bit safer than letting a pure random stranger babysit your kids.
I’m torn on Mr. Girl’s sincerity. He seems really honest but also feels like he’s playing a character. His slowness to respond and ability to revel in awkward silence is what has me questioning him.
He’s in the finding what works phase, probably has to think a bit more before talking. Doesn’t seem very use to streaming/talking to audience. Seems natural honestly
That's because you're used to Twitch where people flap their mouth before they think, and are fake and pretentious, and care more about aesthetics than truth. You've become used to narcissists, and when you see the contrary your mind can't handle it and it makes you suspicious because it's not what you're used to.
@@eugkra33 I don't watch Twitch tho. As far as twitch streamers, I mostly just watch Destiny vids on TH-cam because he's honest in the way he discusses things.
He seems genuine but egocentric(not to be mistaken for egotistical). Like he seems to have some epistemic limitations due to an over attachment to some of his own ideas to the exclusion of the ability to ask himself, "is this person not understanding my point or are they understanding it and I'm failing to see when they're trying to add a relevant point that I'm overlooking?". I saw a lot of that in the vaush debate and he seems at least peripherally aware that he might have that issue, which seems to be a source of the self doubt he described concerning vaush having more knowledge, but he's not quite there yet because of how stuck he is on his original convictions. Like he's looking for support for his idealism in a world that will necessarily nullify its potential through a human nature he seems unaware of. He's essentially too concerned with the internal side of a conviction to see its implicit externalities. I won't argue that he's at least interesting though. Not because of the nature of his ideas but because his approach is unusual. I think that novelty comes mostly from his candidness, but I personally see that as just an uncommon result of his epistemic framework I mentioned above.
"I disagree with cbt because it's a shield." Dude shields are useful. Imagine a soldier about to come under arrow fire like "this shields just a shield. I don't agree with shields." Who tf likes getting hit with arrows.
As a lot of other people here I really like these conversations. I think the thing is that you can really feel that he is very sincere in what he says, which makes you like him. But then there is this interesting tension from that you don't know if he is sincere about what you would be ok with. I mean I haven't watched any of his other shit (no other debates, none of his other videos) so to me he could truly be the worst thing some people make him out to be. So it is this tension that you don't want to agree with something he says that you didn't think through deeply enough and that later could be spun into something you don't agree with. I think what Destiny suggested about giving his audience a bit more of an out and show that he knows when he is breaking social norms is a good suggestion, but I also understand what MrGirl was saying about that being part of his message. Btw, I liked his song at the start there. I think I get what he is trying to say and I like the way he is tackling the issue. I don't agree with him on everything - I already know that - but he is definitely the kind of person I would prefer to disagree with. He makes for interesting conversations about the disagreement.
I like Destiny's take on personal attacks. The way I always think about it is like, if someone throws an ad hom in the middle of an argument, I just reclassify that statement into noise. Like a barking dog. You'd never let a dog angrily barking at you make you upset. So every time you hear one, just hear it as "bark bark bark". And you'll feel way better.
This guy's really interesting and I do feel like he has good intentions for shifting the ways in which we have conversations. I think he way overestimates the impact he can have. I may be too young to appreciate how the culture he's appealing to played out (the culture of behaving like your audience is a bunch of close friends who trust your intention), but it feels like that idea can be abused by actual bad actors if applied broadly. We always criticize people for hiding behind a veil of irony, and there may be similar ways to criticize people hiding behind a veil of provocation. I think there's some validity in holding people to try to clarify their positions and disavow the negative connotations of their words. As an audience, there's a justifiable middle ground between always assuming good intentions and always assuming bad intentions. Also, if you want your channel to grow, it would be like saying these things to a total stranger without any clarification - while old subscribers may be "close friends," new subscribers or casual viewers are random strangers who come at this without context, and it's probably a good idea to find ways to appeal to both simultaneously while remaining somewhat authentic.
MrGirl’s honesty is really disarming. And the conversation was actually refreshingly interesting, with insightful questions and without the usual shouting competition.
@@TravelWithBradley I get massive predator vibes from his content. I don't know how everyone doesn't see it. I guess part of that comes from having experience with people that hide their narcissism behind "wanting what's best for you".

Interesting to hear mr girl complain about his life being made worse by the online comments when he was so quick to dismiss trans peoples distress and tell them to just live with their misery in your previous conversation. Poor guy...
I'd guess probably thinks people should leave horrible comments about what they think of him, even if it ruins his life or makes him upset, as long as that's what they really think.
Damn man, so I can't ever complain about having a broken arm just because some African has no arms?, fuck, it looks like we have to seriously maim ourselves before it reaches your high bar of entry to your intra personal empathy response, Wacko.
@@nicholaswatson2725 i think youre missing the point, nicholas. Its more so that mrgirl made the argument that trans people should just deal with their distress and « accept themselves », but he admits that this distress he is experiencing is overwhelming; it is contradictory! He may not realize how difficult it is to just « accept » that level of distress. If we use your analogy, mrgirl’s statement would be something like « those starving kids whose arm’s fell off should learn to accept their distress »
I can't remember the whole interview but in other videos MrGirl doesn't think trans ppls distress is a good thing or even a neutral thing. He thinks that shit fucking sucks and is a very unfortunate thing to have to live with. However he believes that transitioning doesn't fix the body-dysmorphia. I feel like MrGirl is riding a novelty wave right now. His more controversial takes aren't sinking him yet because 1. His "honesty" is refreshing in contrast to the current epidemic of self-censorship, where open discourse is heavily stifled, and most people are too afraid to deviate away from the accepted narrative. 2. The controversy is good content. If he can make it past the honeymoon phase and still challenge conventional viewpoints in an interesting way he may make it. The problem is you don't want to be the guy who's doing little more than defending hot takes like Pedophilia in 6 months after the novelty wears off. Unless his content keeps evolving to keep things interesting, he's either going to die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain. Regardless, I think he's an interesting and talented guy. I'm not 100% sold his authenticity though, I guess time will tell.
I think his basic principles of "not everything has to be functional and/or air tight to be worth caring about" is also super refreshing and something that will ground future things. Even after the novelty of controversial takes gets diluted.
I must say, I appreciate how perceptive MrGirl seems. He kind of pushes to ask questions and answers with more measured responses than most. If this is what the future of the debate community has to offer I'm excited
I hope the opposite, he doesn't engage in debating. Just presenting ideas, and like with his Rose Wrist "Debate" about trans issues, no amount of walking him through why there's no logic in his accusations/he purely speaks on his feelings while prescribing realities with no evidence. He just...talks. And likes to have a conversation to jack off his own ego. Sure, he answers questions but that's...it. He doesn't challenge and responds terribly when challenged.
@@Ideataster that's because he isn't debating, he IS talking, and it's refreshing. People like you are shocked to see someone who isn't super defensive.
I almost felt bad for relating/empathizing with the guy due to his strange takes because I find myself talking and debating in a similar fashion. 47:00 Okay, let's stop here. He said that the movie "tries" to make you attracted to 11-year-old girls, and that it's not bad at it. Then, he goes on to say the movie challenges you by basically saying, "Look at the blonde one." No. No. No. This is the equivalent of old school Republicans saying that videogames turn teens into mass murderers. Now, I've seen the movie a really freaking long time ago, so I can't remember details, and the only reason I watched it was to see why everybody was so up in arms over it. Also, I'm not supporting the movie here, but he's wrong. The movie is illustrating a conflict that goes on in young girls' minds when they are first introduced to the reality that society (insert "We live in a society" meme here) places a high value on sexual appeal. This innocent girl sees other teen girls dancing in a sexual manner, and she sees that as, not only accepted, but the cool thing to do. I don't exactly remember "the blonde one," but I'm assuming it's the leader of the dance group who has access to more provocative clothing, or something like that... I can't remember because it has been so long. Anyway, there's an inner conflict in the main character's mind that she wants to be accepted, wants to be cool, and wants to be liked by her peers. The thing is, that's real life. We all go through this. When I was a teen boy, I wanted to listen to gangster rap music because all of my friends liked it. When my parents found my CD collection, they sat me down, scolded me for it, and threw all of my CDs (nutz) in the trash, and they told me if I ever got caught listening to that music again, I'd be in trouble. That upset me because I thought it was the cool thing to listen to, and my friends all had access to that music and sang the songs at school. But that doesn't mean I truly wanted to be a gangster. After all, I didn't even know what a hollow point bullet was, and I had never heard of Glocks before I heard the song Roll Out by Ludacris. Now that I'm older, I do own a Glock and I have hollow point bullets, but the difference is that I'm mature enough to know not to go around brandishing firearms and "riding dirty" with drugs and guns in my car. When I became 18, my parents didn't care what I listened to, the style of clothes I wore, what TV shows or videogames I played, or anything like that because I was a legal adult able to make somewhat rational decisions. But even at 18-years-old, I was still dumb and did stupid crap. That's the point of the movie, at least from my take of it. As a reminder, I'm not suggesting that the movie was a good idea to make or even that the movie was good. But this guy shows a clear inability to grasp what the message was, and he thinks that the movie is truly trying to make you see 12-year-olds as hot. And though I know our education system in America is poor, it's a good idea to take some basic college courses and get an idea of how to interpret messages that books, movies, or music is trying to portray.
Please add some sound effect when you have a silent clip show up, like at 58:00 . I usually listen to these videos only but this was such a fitting clip I would've missed if I wasn't watching this time. I feel like the usefulness for the audio-only listeners would outweight the little annoyance of hearing a swoosh sound during a 2 hour talk for those who watch.
I suspect most view on two hour videos are principally audio only. What non adhd fuck is *watching* this whole thing? It’s not a movie. Should be engineered accordingly.
One of the problems with Mr. Girl is that he’s largely inept at arguing his “edgy” ideas. If he dared to think about his position for a few minutes, he would’ve done better in his convo with Vaush. But he came across intimidated like he knew he couldn’t adequately explain his position so wanted to say something edgy then move on w/out any deeper discussion. That’s why his convos with Destiny aren’t about his positions so much as they are “I should be able to say edgy stuff and people should just accept it”
I've spent a few years working in and around hospitals with psychiatric patients, and although I never specialised in anything or performed any indepth research. This guy reminds me so much of the patients with schizoid personality disorder (Not schizophrenia!). The flat affect, the speech pattern, the 'candidness', the bullish confidence alongside the insecurity surrounding being liked, the immediate projections attached to feeling manipulated by a therapist and most importantly the lack of emotional regulations or willingness to even consider cbt as viable. It didn't surprise me to find he had a history of DV. He doesn't exhibit the more outstanding eccentric behaviours people expect from this disorder, and it doesnt satisfy DSM criteria for those of course, but he is an absolute dead-ringer at the subejctive level to listen to and watch. His way of engaging the pedophilia doesn't seem to be offbrand from the way he talks about everything else. It's just a more emotionally charged subject and he isn't using the standard implicit and explicit language & communication skills. That said, count me in the 45%. He might not have a super secret hardrive tucked under the bed, but he got more from that blonde girl than he probably should and probably feels this the norm. Also no way this bridge survives 5 months.
I'd be surprised if he was a schizoid seeing how he has a girlfriend and likes to interact with people. If anything, I'd guess he's more on the schizotypal spectrum seeing his flat affect, his lack of social understanding and eccentricity in that regard. He also seems to ruminate quite a lot about societal norms and discourse and exhibits a strong desire to be liked and understood. Another thing that is common among people with schizotypal personality disorder is obsessive ruminations without inner resistance, often of sexual or aggressive content which would explain his apparent preoccupation with pedophilia. Add to that his grandiose idea of being able to change the discourse instead of simply accepting that the discourse is as it is and engage it accordingly. Will Allen did a video on him where you get a bit more info about his past. Edit: "I don't have a large group of friends". Classic schizotypal person. An inability to make and maintain friendships, often results in only a few friends and confidants.
@@lameduck3105 big thanks for the explanation and follow up link. I always struggled to remember the closely related disorders. There's too much nuance in psyche and it's just not my strong suit. I was at best speaking incorrectly and anecdotally.
@@simoncoy4539 No biggie. The major defining difference between schizoids and schizotypal people (generalising here) is that schizoids are just fine being alone while schizotypal people often crave social relationships but find them hard to maintain because of eccentricity/being out of the societal norms and the paranoia close friends can bring, so they tend to drift apart from friends but still crave the social relationships in general. A Schizoid person is much more indifferent to social relationships than a schizotypal person. But the schizotypal person will struggle to maintain relationships either by feeling paranoid (feeling like their friends harbor negative thoughts about them) or being socially akward and drive people away. Schizotypal people will often have a high degree of social anxiety as well whereas the schizoid will simply just not care and not feel anxious but annoyed.
I think deep down Destiny is relieved by just how genuine and honest Mr. Girl is. I found him to be an utterly fascinating guy, and I always appreciate a fellow Libertarian. I hope these 2 talk a lot more, as these are really fascinating and fruitful conversations that I don't think are happening elsewhere.
This content is a breath of fresh air. Don't know if the weird things people say about this guy are true but man I love him so far. Such a unique dude. Love the conversations. The way this guy pauses to sincerely think about a response is so comforting. I feel like I'm getting 98% of his truest thoughts.
As much as I agree that people on the internet aren't good faith enough, I think he's unreasonable in the level of things he thinks he should be able to say without caveats. Like saying that Cuties is not bad at making tween girls hot. I'd have to bend over really hard to make that review not indicative of him being sexually attracted to young girls. It's like when Jordan Peterson said shit about how we should have enforced monogamy and then got upset that other people didn't realize he just meant it should be a social pressure to conform to that, even though he didn't clarify that in his original statement and that and enforced is generally used to mean, you know, physically enforced or legally required. It's an unreasonable level of work and trust to expect from others.
This was so weird... I felt like I was in Destiny's boots, and Mr. Open-feelings was attacking my world-view about maybe not letting everyone make your their doormat. And maybe avoiding getting trampled by the mob. And that therapy is meant to actually work on your issues. We think it sounds like he's living in a sort of idealized version of reality, and he thinks it would be fine if all just stod together. And then we again think: "Yeah, but that's just another idealistic scenario, where we roll the dice with a fraction of a chance of it panning out - With the sold of lives and souls in the balance." We like where his heart is at for some of it, in some sense, but the proposition is pretty insane. And it all feels a bit like walked naked across a battlefield every day. And we think it'd pretty to foolish to do that, even if the goal with doing so is quite noble. Like he skipped the part where "being vulnerable" is actually directly tied to the word "vulnerable" for a reason. And being completely vulnerable to everyone, is perhaps not such a grand idea.
While it would be foolish of me to confidently make a judgment about your character based on your comment alone, my first automatic thoughts are that you might be arrogant based off your usage of "we". I encourage you to say I instead of we because you don't speak for all. Doing so will cause some people with even a small amount of oppositional-defiance to tune you out as soon as seeing what appears to be an attempt to speak for them without their permission. Hopefully you will consider my suggestion.
@@sheeplehunter9651 The whole "we", would be refering to those who like me on this - And to some degree from what I can tell, also Destiny here. And seeing the likes I got, I would presume there's a good more than one of us that to. Hence the "we" is quite justified. It would seem to me, that you don't understand the somewhat comedic meaning behind said comment. It's not my job, or goal to MAKE ppl listen to me. Keeping their minds open is up to them. "I am responsible for what I say. Not for what ppl can understand, or misunderstand." - Personal qoute I created some years ago, and tend to use for situations like these. (Searched to see if someone else had said in search engines, but could find nothing. So I can't attribute it to someone else).
1:48:00 From what I understand, CBT is an incredibly surface level modality of therapy. The goal of therapy should be to make you *feel* better and not just act better. Most other modalities are way more dialectical and tend to focus more on bringing consciousness to the reasons why you feel certain ways as apposed to merely dealing with the feelings.
But he is the one making emotional claims based on nothing and will ignore evidence for the sake of inflamatory takes, simply saying i dont like it/ i disagree without addressing the point is just been emotionally edgy
Wow, I feel for this guy being open and vulnerable on an open forum. Also the MMPI is a boring test and I hate it. Not really a personality test, though, more of a screen for mental illness. The paranoia/naivete scale he was talking about was probably related to schizophrenia symptoms, for instance.
Just going to throw this into the void: To me, MrGirl seems dangerous. He sets off alarm bells in my head. Some people seem to think he's "being honest." I think he's threading a needle at the border between his beliefs and what he feels like he can express while maintaining some sort of deniability. It's uncomfortable for me to listen to someone who has clearly studied psych (and has a degree to back it up!) talk about trust as much as MrGirl does. I feel gaslit. I feel like someone is attempting emotional manipulation. That someone being MrGirl. I say this as someone who believes.we should be primarily trying to rehabilitate criminals including pedophiles. I believe that's the number 1 option for reducing harm. I just.. well a lot of things. Maybe we'll get into that later.
I also have a bad feeling about him. I think he is weaponizing the idea of empathy while being an extremely intelligent sociopath having a fetish of making people uncomfortable.
I'm glad someone said this. It's painfully obvious watching this interview and his one with Vaush that he's attracted to minors and trying to justify expressing that belief in whatever way he can.
These are pretty loaded terms to judge someone's character based on only one conversation. Saying that someone is "attempting to use emotional manipulation" is pretty heavy when he could just be talking about how he genuinely sees the world and people. Just bite the bullet and say that you think he's a pedo instead of vaguey implying it.
Maybe he just rubs you the wrong way with how he presents himself and you are maybe unconsciously interpreting everything he says and does uncharitably. Whereas other people maybe aren't bothered as much and are more willing to be charitable to the things he says and respond more positively.
Yup, I think it’s important to be able to challenge even the most basic commonly held notions by almost everyone because at the end of the day, we’re only human and are fallible. I do understand not always wanting to engage with these type of discussions as it can be really tiring and uncomfortable especially when you’re just trying to get by in life, but the ability for someone to have these conversations should always be allowed.

I don't agree with shields." Who tf likes getting hit with arrows.
this vid is unbelievably prophetic
I like this
This guy's really interesting and I do feel like he has good intentions for shifting the ways in which we have conversations.
Very well said
The irony or provocation understood by the audience is earned in good faith by clarifying one’s true position clearly.

And his music (all of it, genuinely) is impressively well done and has some really good lines and genuinely replayable tracks.
47:00 Okay, let's stop here. He said that the movie "tries" to make you attracted to 11-year-old girls, and that it's not bad at it. Then, he goes on to say the movie challenges you by basically saying, "Look at the blonde one."
No. No.
Just when everyone was starting to copy August's intro style he sets the bar higher and higher

The 6-8 months comment from Destiny at 16:00 was incredibly prophetic.
It's at 14:25, and yes, it's insane how accurate it is.
Link for the Will Allen video on mrgirl th-cam.com/video/8dqOuZu_KKg/w-d-xo.html&t

As much as I agree that people on the internet aren't good faith enough, I think he's unreasonable in the level of things he thinks he should be able to say without caveats. And then we again think: "Yeah, but that's just another idealistic scenario, where we roll the dice with a fraction of a chance of it panning out - With the sold of lives and souls in the balance."
We like where his heart is at for some of it, in some sense, but the proposition is pretty insane.
I've been looking forward for this thanks Mr. Destiny
This man eminates a silence so profound that i start questioning the basics of my own reality
15:58 welp when you're right you're right 🤣😂🤣😂
Mr.Girl talks are amazing, his comedy timing is impeccable 🙏
Hope Destiny tells him they're friends in the next encounter :D
I guess the editor gets to keep his job. That's good.
Was august possibly going to lose his job?
@@Me-kt3gh I think it’s a running joke
1:48:00 From what I understand, CBT is an incredibly surface level modality of therapy. The goal of therapy should be to make you *feel* better and not just act better. Most other modalities are way more dialectical and tend to focus more on bringing consciousness to the reasons why you feel certain ways as apposed to merely dealing with the feelings.
August gets to keep his job yay
Man destiny called that 6 months
destiny a real one for forcing us through those first 30 secs
where does it go off the rails? or was it just clickbait?
This dude separates the people who can think in hypotheticals from people whose base beliefs are couched in emotion.
And the ones addicted to optics.
But he is the one making emotional claims based on nothing and will ignore evidence for the sake of inflamatory takes, simply saying i dont like it/ i disagree without addressing the point is just been emotionally edgy
@@Sesshounamaru7 fr, but uhhhh optics. liek he uses optics in th eoppsite directions which is no better.
Lmao I keep watching this dude and think, man, I’m pretty sure this dudes a sociopath…and your comment praises it 😂
Emotion isn’t a bad thing.
4:47 is that someone screaming from his basement?
Wow, I feel for this guy being open and vulnerable on an open forum.
Also the MMPI is a boring test and I hate it. Not really a personality test, though, more of a screen for mental illness. The paranoia/naivete scale he was talking about was probably related to schizophrenia symptoms, for instance.
Destiny, I love your dialogue with people.
“It’s funny because I’m not joking” this dude is either a comedic genius or batshit insane
Why not both?
Yes
Just going to throw this into the void:
To me, MrGirl seems dangerous.
I mean intuition can be valid. Just don’t overinvest in it or pretend it is concrete.
I also have a bad feeling about him. I think he is weaponizing the idea of empathy while being an extremely intelligent sociopath having a fetish of making people uncomfortable.
Exactly...
28:05 Damn he really did call it just a few months ahead lol
August couldn't figure out a way to put timestamps without getting demonetized lmao.
1:01:09 Can someone make an edit with MrGirl as Erwin in AOT giving speech in season 3 episode 16? lol
I truly don't understand all the positive response to this guy.
Maybe he just rubs you the wrong way with how he presents himself and you are maybe unconsciously interpreting everything he says and does uncharitably. Whereas other people maybe aren't bothered as much and are more willing to be charitable to the things he says and respond more positively.
We need to study this man's brain. Whether you like him or not, he can really challenge the way you think about our existence and beliefs
Absolutely, I disagree with him on almost everything but he has such an interesting approach to not only conversations but it seems to life
Yup, I think it’s important to be able to challenge even the most basic commonly held notions by almost everyone because at the end of the day, we’re only human and are fallible.
I do understand not always wanting to engage with these type of discussions as it can be really tiring and uncomfortable especially when you’re just trying to get by in life, but the ability for someone to have these conversations should always be allowed.
I‘ve read the same thing about Eric Weinstein.
No he doesnt, hes just looking for attention, lol.
They should study yours as well if someone that openly admits to just saying wild shit for attention impresses you this much.
man, that 1:08:00 clip was a glorious gem of a time-capsule
15:58 Destiny predicting Destiny. Where does he hide the reality stone?
I became his patron because I was like “this guy will never get any sponsorship”
Congrats on 400k!
I would love Mr.Girl hopping into a heated debate with someone like Mike from PA and after Mike says some stupid shit Mr.Girl just staring into his sole then after a moment of silence telling him “you’re wrong” and then Mike just going ballistic but Mr.Girl just stares in silence😂
Now I miss the “whoa whoa whoaaaa if your watching this on TH-cam…” lol
Listen Destiny may have burned all his bridges but look at how good of swimmer he’s become because of that
54:00 destiny forgot to mention that she also insinuated that people who disagree with her are enabling pedofilia, that’s mostly why people were mad at her
Destiny talking about how much he thrives off of hearing the crowd booing him just tells me he would totally have been a heel in wrestling
August, if you read this, whatever process you are using to learn as an editor, keep at it, the intro to this video was outstanding.
45 minutes in when he said "I will and I can" in regards to change how twitch environment works seemed so confident and assured. I have a lot of faith in this guy. I really really hope there are no twists and turns in this arc... Please god.
Same. I’m clenching my buttcheecks and turning my limbs into a pretzel hoping, praying to any higher power that may listen, that this guy is just weird and there’s nothing more than that.
@@idkhbtfmandnowimsad994 what's the over under
I sure hope the guy who advocates for pedophiles and frequently references himself as a pedophile doesn't turn out to have any secret proclivities that nobody could have ever suspected.
Seemed pretty naive as well like destiny said
Extremely, extremely naive.
MrGirl: "you know those Ads on pornhub?"
Destiny: "w..which ones?"
I couldn't help but lol at that moment
This person is entertaining to watch, but the idea of him becoming successful because of Destiny is offputting to me. It's his channel and his choice, of course; I just don't want to see someone who's filmed himself basically talking to his girlfriend about gaslighting her, while she was clearly uncomfortable and not wanting any part of it.
Congrats on keeping your job editor. This was great.
