I gotta say you did a fantastic job. I use RobinAir A/C machines all the time because they are so simple to use, when it comes to using manual gauges and making sure to purge the hoses free of air in order to only get refrigerant into the system, that is not always easy and then to get multiple cans into the system along with oil or dye injection. Joe Blow could easily put refrigerant on the high side thus causing damage to the compressor too if they don't know better. The Amazon crimp tool is a huge lifesaver for sure. I have tackled several rv dashboard ac repairs for others, now to make time for our own rv. Thanks for making these videos. They are great to watch.
@@stevenbadman538 thank you sir. Some old school stuff I got going on. It’s often overlooked to purge the hoses. I ended up just using a 15# bottle just to not have to deal with purging every can hook up. Made it easier in the end.
Thanks again for your AC videos! Your videos were very helpful. What were the part numbers on the compressor and dryer you used? I have the same coach and need exactly the same repair.
@@tomibert5437 I shudder at the thought!!….If that’s the one that runs the entire length of Coach I applaud you for how much work that is. But totally agree if the rubber is cracking and deteriorating then replacing ends alone is only going to patch you shortly. Ours is doing great. Comparative to what it was before !!….Hard to adjust to the fact they just don’t get as cold as a typical automotive AC.
@ALongLongWaytoGO What part of Texas? We're in Baytown. My strategy would be to buy caps for each of connection points to seal system, plus validate size & threads. While capped, I could remove and replicate hoses.
Boy , you timed this one right. Record setting heat everywhere. Just watching this helped cool me down. lol!
@@kevinp2820 LOL !!!! Mind over matter !!!…..I think it’s cool…I think it’s cool…..NOPE !!! It’s still HOT !!!
Woo hoo 🎉 back in business!!! no more sitting in the microwave driving down the road!! Good job as always sir. Experience is truly the best teacher.

GREAT JOB on the repair!! Just dropped $2k on JKU a/c. Evaporator core had a hole in it. Went ahead and replaced fan motor and heater core🫣
Got the compressor part number from the title description but would really appreciate the part number for the dryer you used. Thanks so much!!

UAC brand purchased through Amazon also. It’s just a universal fit drier.

How's the AC holding up? We have an 05 Inspire with leaking HP lines. Deep cracks in outer jacket, I'm thinking replace entire line.
