I enjoyed it a lot as a kid, was a big fan of the legend continues and caine in the modern world with a police officer for a son, but I also enjoyed some the original one with Caine in the wild west.
I used to love this show as a kid. Now I watch and it looks like the fight scenes were choreographed by a ninety year-old woman doing Tai Chi at the park.
You haven't watched the original series, have you? The fight scenes were of a slower pace even back then. This time around David caradine was playing Caine's grandson who is in his 50s. I actually thought it was a bit more realistic. Caine's old, but more polished fighting wise IMHO.
Worse yet were the dreams in your sleep defeating an army of martial artists only to find out the last opponent you drop kicked was, in fact, the wall (insert screams of pain here while you cradle your nearly broken toes) 😆🤣🤣🤣
@@timheersma4708I broke my big toe fighting giant rats the size of dogs by doing just that. Trouble was it was only a few years ago and I’m nearly 50 😂 The moves I can pull off in my sleep 😂 I’m like a bloody Ninja 😂😂.
I remember this episode. The Warlord DID survive this. And he kept his word. He sent Caine the dagger, broken in half, as a symbol of commitment to keeping his end of the deal.
I enjoyed his shows. I went through tiger crane kung fu which is a $3,200-year-old style. When I bow it is a fist into open hand which means soft style and hard style to anyone that I bow to that knows anything. They took a picture of the 40th baddest man in martial arts. And my master was the only white face out of the 40. He was scary but fair
0:16 I was driving one day when someone zipped across two lanes, cut me off heading into the left turn lane. The light was red, so we had to wait, and I laid on my horn. Out from the car steps this guy, approaches my car, asks, "WTF is your problem?" Me, thinking quickly, grabbing paper and a pen: "I've seen so many movies and shows with you in them. I wanted to get your autograph!" He gave me an autograph.
Yes, David Carradine mentioned in an interview years later that he was quite heavy in this series because he was drinking alcohol daily and not taking care of himself.
I hated Al Leong's Benjamin Franklin hairstyle, it made him look like a bum and it made him look a lot older - he was 41 or 42 here. He would have looked so much better if he had just shaved it off.
The moon is 12 o'clock in the Philippines, that means one of the 2 types of Werewolves are in the open which become Werewolves only when the moon is full, while the original strong Lycans pioneers who transforms only to Werewolves when they willed to do are in their houses, mansions, groups, beast in the underworld or in human form. Another powerful being is strong now, Abaddon and his female matter warriors, Amazons? I can't confirm that for sure they don't have monopoly over matter types. Why at 12 o'clock they're strong, because of the direct line of moon to Earth now, like the Sun at 12 o' clock but quite different in effect such as direct vertical line effect though quite far at it's vertical line. Their Aliens type direct transfer? Could be or not. They're safer there underground moon but strong reflection yes. It's just now as I analyzed if Abaddon and the Master Lycans have something in common or some sort of alliance, I think they're different though both uses reflection could be using the other or in synergism in interest only and are of suspicion of each other. Remember the Lycans symbolizes Wolves as beasts, as False Religions and their Demon versions, while Abaddon symbolizes Fat Cats and Lions, you know the C in Cats, the C in Mongolian Empire above helmet sign, the C in Samurai warriors helmet sign, the C in Moslem Arabs church sign particularly the Shia Moslems as Shia synonym of C. And the other C the Crusader? Probably yes or not as his ally or not. Remember the C of Crusader are another Royal group army while Abaddon can be connected to Mongolian Empire of the Khans or Cans as receptacle or taxation. Meaning the Sunnis Arabs Moslems which are related to the Sun as Sunni correlated to the Rah or Ammon Rah of Egypt with something in common energy source as another powerful group. Cleopatra could be their secret Queen of the Ptolemies, remember the First Roman Triumvirate consist of Julius Caesar, a Roman Egyptian Ruler Pompeii and Crassus alliance at first enemies later on. . While both uses the Law as their reflection of the real Law, probably they're rivals if not sharing common interest or they have carved the Empire between them, and I think Abaddon is secretly stronger at the surface of Earth while the Werewolves are their underground version feared in the underground habitats and also in the surface in secrecy. How about the Z group. I think they're the counterpart of Wolves and of different group, the Brown Bear of Russia, Z as in sleeping longtime during hibernation to gain fat and weight mass for the Siberian winter preparation. I wonder why a secret Angel of Throne laughing as if have no knowledge of the underworld, or he is in concealment.
If you study this scene closely you'll see DC's stunt stand in doing lots of the heavy work. Carradine was NOT in the best condition, looking bloated and overweight. Rumors that he would usually arrive drunk on set, vodka, and the behind the scenes techs, etc, found him to be obnoxious and difficult to deal with. A pity, though. This sequel series lasted as long as it did because of the original's intensity. It was that good! But this "the legend continues" just suffers from being tepid, so to speak. Sad! 🙏♐🏹
never understand phenomen of that series. Actors were bad, script was a brain meat grinder, 'fighting' scenes were pity, oriental music ridiculous and every episode was SAME in fact. It's soooooo bad that I'm missing only Steven Segal here.

I got to see him in a play about Native Americans. He was a truly great actor.

Al Leong was teaching Carradine in this, just like everyone in both runs of the series 😂

@@billj4525 Very similar to what it happened to me!
Bis auf die Kampfscenen war die Serie eher langweilig.😊

You're just jealous you can't beat up 4 guys in slow motion. I know I am. 😂
Couldn't make things look too violent on TV back then. Besides, even "The Six Million Dollar Man" looked cool in slow-motion fights.
@Omanoscar might be due to the fact carradine was actually a dancer! Knew nothing of martial arts in reality.
👍🏼😂🤣

Thank you so much.. please upload more of cane while in meditation♥️♥️♥️
Caine is just a bad ass. Made the Warlord look like a complete putz.
That curvy dagger is actually an ancient Javanese Keris, a traditional Indonesian weapon
It's Filipino.
Best TV show EVER!😊

That stunt double camera angles were so bad, lol. You could clearly see it was the stunt doubles face.

There's a old saying you live by the Sword you die by the Sword
If that only was true for all dictators out there today as well!
Can you please post the meditation scene in Dragons Daughter 👌
Caine was running rings around The Warlord, focused, calm, wise and humble.
... and soooo slooowww.....
Seriously, the only bad thing about the series is that David Carradine allowed himself to get fat.
So did Steven Seagal, damn did his later movies get bad, bad
Yes, David Carradine mentioned in an interview years later that he was quite heavy in this series because he was drinking alcohol daily and not taking care of himself.

The weapon called KERIS..originally from INDONESIA (JAVA)

Caine is both wise and deadly
Back when a middle aged man with the chiseled physique of a bean bag chair could be believed to win a fight.
Why is there a keris in kungfu series?
This sequel series had its moments but it doesn't compare with the original, unfortunately. 🙏♐

Al Leong is a thousand times better than this second-rate circus; David Carradine (rest in peace) was a martial arts circus performer.
Damn lol I like how you say so and so rip but he was a clown 😂 😂 😂 Goddamn
It's called acting for a reason.

Hard to die
I think stronger than Bruce lee
Чушь какая...
All kung fu in this show are either made up moves or it’s badly choreographed cuz I’m a king fu practitioner
mediocrity
Embarrassing made for TV junk. DC was terrible at martial arts of any kind. Just terrible.
Come vorrei rivederlo
Hahaha Carradine didn't know any martial arts techniques or blows, he was just a simulator, he wasn't a professional fighter, just an actor
