- I have nothing but respect for this man. Austin Archey is next level when it comes to the drum kit, and I have now been able to experience it firsthand. And incredible, yet humbling spectacle to behold. Lorna Shore are the masters of their craft, and that goes beyond just Will Ramos. I am thrilled that I got to experience this. Big shoutouts to @darcystcorner2580 for posting it for me in the discord! You da best!

Austin Archey has been drumming since the age of seven, he had his first show ta 12, ans embarked on his first tour at 18, he recently signed with Meinl Cymbals. Austin Archey is one of mu top 3 deathcore drummers. Great reaction Dragon! Much Love Mate!

Archspire is my recommendation for a fun band to check out,
Man I can tell you right now I've been a metalhead most of my life and as a musician there are levels of heavy that made me think you have to have some type of pent up aggression to want to actually achieve this type of sound. In my 20s I was usually playing metalcore because I liked playing more intricate riffs but this genre came easy to express because there was always one of us pissed off about something. So much so that we would joke after playing something and say "ok now go heavy" and we would all be cheesing ear to ear like we didn't take it serious 😆. It would sound good but definitely not something we would practice.
Meinl cymbals has a few videos of Austin playing the drums to Lorna songs in the studio but you haven’t heard those songs so I didn’t wanna put them in discord. I wasn’t sure if you were going to check out more Lorna or not.
Austin is an absolute beast on the drums. I may not listen to Lorna but I’ll watch Austin playing drums to the music lmao. Makes perfect sense to me 😂
