Just used a mag dawg my first time on a lake ever musky fishing and brought one up to shore on a day ppl weren't really catching diddly squat so I know those are worthwhile lures. Hope u got other videos out like this. I like a channel like that cus ur not claiming to be an expert and u aren't trying to advertise or sell ppl anything.

The world record Musky is 65 lbs. That fish probably put up an amazing fight. These smaller musky tucker out after 15-20 minutes. Saltwater fish fight about 10x harder pound for pound though. The ocean environment is brutal, always moving, and produces super strong fish.
Yeah, I have a bigger net I just couldn't find it for the life of me. Most of the time I would net them and hang the net over the side. I just wanted to get these fish released and back in the water asap.
