As a missionary in South Africa from 2001 to 2006, I can verify everything you said in this video. It was heartbreaking and still is. Thank you for saying something and exposing the lies and false doctrine.

Since the rest of the Christians on the planet are suffering, it will eventually reach here (USA). But western Christians think we are going to be taken away from any suffering and be partying and receiving rewards while the rest of our brothers and sisters who get saved will be suffering. The problem is that the accuser of the brethren (who accuses day & night), will still be doing that until the middle of the Tribulation. At that time, satan will be fighting with Michael & the angels. Will we be partying while being accused before the throne of God & while there is a war in heaven? I think not. That is one of the worst prosperity gospel messages as well: that you won't have to suffer for Jesus. The realization that the tribulation is upon them while they were waiting to be rescued will turn Christians against each other.
Can u suggest a good good church in South Afrika.. I have a friend Down there who needs help deperatly...hes from Pretoria area..he needs a good sound church..and practical help as well..and a job the Mother of rhe kids lost hers..and they cant pay rent next month..anyone some suggestions..thank u so much..be blessed ..

I also have two Christian friends who are wheelchair-bound. One is a friend from childhood, another is a friend whom I met recently. Both of these young women are very rooted in Christ and always have been. I have seen them abide in Christ in the midst of chronic illness, and it has been a witness to me.

It's true. I've read many such comments from brethren in your region. I used to be a Copelandite many years ago. The Word of Faith doctrine is the forbidden fruit in the church of the serpent's promise to Eve and Adam, "You shall be as Elohim." Avoid it like a plague.
Thank you for speaking the truth! I grew up in word of faith/prosperity churches when I was a teenager my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer we were convinced she would be healed if we all stayed positive and had enough faith we took her to a Benny Hinn conference where they pulled her up on stage and declared that she was healed she passed away a couple months later and we discovered that she had been giving thousands of dollars to these false teachers. For years I blamed myself and felt like it was my fault she hadn’t been healed that I didn’t have enough faith and that God didn’t care; until later on in life I heard the true gospel and Jesus saved me! It saddens me how this theology preys on the weak and vulnerable we need more pastors willing to stand up and speak the truth!
That is awful. I'm so grateful to God that through His Son, Christ Jesus, you have come to saving faith. God will have a reckoning with those awful, false shepherds.
Having enough Faith isn't what we teach . God provided Healing and staying in His Word is the key . Not Works. You can't buy it either . WOF doesn't teach that. Some clown that distorted God's Word called himself a WOF minister but there are false misrepresentations in this church also just as every other denominations
I am a young Christian, but your channel has been a God-send for me. I grew up listening to a lot of these false gospel preachers. I rejected the faith for a long time because I thought Christianity was a false religion - I thought God had abandoned me. Anyway, keep spreading the light, Brother Spencer. Your videos have been a huge blessing to me.
I've been watching those false teachers since I was a child and all they did was anger me. I would get so angry at them sometimes that it was probably sinful. I'm not sure why The Lord doesn't strike them down where they are standing.

Same here, 16+ years in the organisation, got burnt out because trying to hard to speak in tongue etc to prove that I have the holy spirit within me. These people are very big on materials things. They sold the gospel for money. They say if a Christian is poor, it's because they don't obey Malachi 3:9-10

I'm in Vegas so the church I've been going to since or almost a yr ago I really haven't made a decision yet if I'm going to join or not because it an A/G church so I'm of the theory that I still like the hymnals this church has been in the area for a long time probably since the 40's some of the older people that are there have been there 40/50/60 yrs some longer there are some that are with the Lord who have been there longer so in the midst of that there are some of the mid to younger generation that are hooked on bethel Hillsong and Maverick City elevation music so some of them try not to judge the musicians that play the music that's why I try to out of respect ignore the music there are Christian songs that I love singing from the early 70's to the mid 80's just not into the styles of music today yes I love to worship the Lord but not to that style of music

Bill Johnson(bethel) openly admitted that they intentionally use their music to infiltrate healthy god fearing churches with their poisonous heresies. There are videos out there You can use to reach the young ppl and help them realize how dangerous the music from hillsong, bethel, and elevation really are. I agree music should be about substance, never about style, or high production value. We don't need fancy lighting & effects to sing praises to our incomparable God!
As one who suffers and has suffered with a painful chronic disease for years, I thank you for all you do to expose this evil!

No matter if I’m healed on earth or in heaven Jesus’ sacrifice was enough for me!! Christianity isn’t about what God can give you, it’s about Him sending His only Son to die a death I deserved and then He rose from the dead 3 days later, so I can have eternal life with Him!! In October 2008 (I was 28) God gave me a kidney (didn't know Him at the time) I needed desperately or I would have gone on dialysis. Four months after that He called me to be his own. True double miracle for me. He has blessed me in so many ways but the road is definitely costly but well worth it. Thank you brother Spencer for all you do.

You can find good Independent Fundamental Baptist missionary churches in Brazil.

Oh my gosh....I can relate to that lack of faith punnishment.....or congenital defects in a baby 😢😢😢I was told the same....that I shouldn't "accept" a diagnosis because I need to pray against it...given a book about how to fix my pregnancy.😢
I would like to start by thanking you for what you do. I’ll get right to the point; My mother and stepdad got caught up in the Charismatic Movement. They supported Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis and others. They died penniless; owing money to Medicaid. My sister and I didn’t receive any of our parents property. My sister and I were saved at an IFB church and we tried witnessing to our parents. They claimed we were brainwashed and in a cult. I didn’t see my parents for the last 2 years of their lives. I hope they got saved before they passed away in 2019. Again I would like to thank you for all that you are doing. I love your Third Adam videos. Brother you are a great help to a lot of us my mom was sick for years with pulmonary fibrosis and she died from it, for years I thought for years why God didn’t heal her we prayed and prayed and declared for healing now after finding you and others I know God’s will cannot be commanded to our liking.

and it took me so long to fully weed out all the bad teaching . Much of it still affects me today ; things like those saved in this generation must be sanctified faster making me feel inadequate in my walk , you can’t say certain words out loud , you have to get rid of objects or you’ll be cursed or you can be possessed . God led me to an amazing IFB church where My husband and I are raising our boys . Thank you for your channel , the only reason I was able to get out by Gods grace is seeing bill Johnson called a false teacher on a movie , when i saw the pastor promoting him I left and it took brothers and sisters like you to help unravel the falsities . Brother Spencer, I just want to say thank you for taking a stand. When my family and I first came across your videos, we disagreed on several of the issues you raised. But by the grace of God as we listened to you more and sought God in prayer, and listened to the Holy Spirit’s leadings we’ve now come to agree with virtually everything you have said. As a military family we’ve moved around a lot before my father retired and we’ve always struggled to find a good church. Looking back I understand that many of them were plagued by the Mega church syndrome, prosperity gospel, and similar issues. After finding your channel and other doctrinally sound channels like yours, we finally realized why we never felt at peace at those churches.
God used you and others like you to open our eyes to the real problems in these churches. I admit I was one of the “It’s just a different genre of music.” critics, but now I see.
I still have my struggles with sin, and frustration at my own sinfulness. But faithful men of God such as yourself inspire me to continue forward in this fallen world.
Thank you Brother Spencer and please continue to do all that God has called you to do. You are making a difference, and have touched many lives. God bless you, your family, and your ministry!
Thank you brother Spencer. I had an experience with the name claim false teaching in my early 20s. I suffered from depression. It was painful feeling I did not have enough faith to cure that depression. I almost ended my life and walked away from God for a season. Our Heavenly Father's love never gave up on me or let go of me. I am set free and now in my 60s.

Me, raised in a household that taught that any little sin or wrong doing would send you to Hell. I did something good? I'm going to Heaven. Did I have a bad thought about someone? I'm going to Hell because of it. Any misstep changed your direction. The door to Heaven is opened, closed, opened, closed..... I'm forever thankful that I found the Real Truth. Thank you, Spencer, for not being a spiritual wuse and speaking the truth!

Most of my life i believed that anything that was going wrong in my (or anyone else's) life was punishment from God. I got sick in 2012, and there was no answers. i got worse and started getting seizures, and then i broke my back during one of my seizures. There was a bunch of other stuff that was happening, but I'll spare the details. I had churches tell me i just needed more faith, and it really brought me back to my childhood. After i was saved, 2019, we had to find a new church, and they were very sound and i felt way better about their theology. We went to another church for some outreach with all the churches in the area, or something, and it was super weird. The pastor of the other church was talking to our pastor. That pastor prayed over me, and put his hands on me after i declined the offer. When i didn't get up out of my wheelchair he was upset and told my pastor maybe next time. My pastor apologized to me, he could tell i was having none of that nonsense, and i know he doesn't believe like that other pastor. But i have gotten that from SO many people. Like, get your hands off me, people! I don't know you, i don't like to be touched, and God will heal me if and when HE see's fit. I was super sick almost died immediately after i was saved. God took my addictions and healed me from so much trauma and when i woke up from being sick, for like a month, i didn't even know who i was. I was a totally different person. So, He healed me in the ways that i needed it most, and used my recovery time to bring me closer to Him. I was super sick and in so much pain, but it was the sweetest time in my life.

Thank you, Spencer, for all you are doing. God is using you to bring His truth to a darkened world. I really like the segments you post, and I happen to appreciate your intensity.
I was a member of a few different charismatic churches many years ago, and yeah, they had some really weird ideas...strange doctrines! And thank you for speaking out about the charlatans who castigate those who have a chronic illness. I myself have a chronic illness. A year after my diagnosis, some guy at a Christian bookstore and I were talking about my condition...he prayed over me, and he said he felt the power of healing coming through his hands. I didn't feel anything. And then the guy got really angry, and protested that I didn't have any faith. I was devastated. When I got home, I prayed, and was led by God to read 2nd Corinthians 12:7-10...yeah, Paul's thorn in the flesh! So, I realized that I have my own thorn in the flesh, and... God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in my weakness! So, like Paul, I will "therefore gladly boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Praise God for your dedication on this one, brother Spencer. We NEED people to speak the truth on this issue, without backing down, without equivocation. And I love the seriousness with which you treat this. I have chronic pain that has absolutely DEVESTATED my life, and for a long, long time, turned it into a living Hell, and I still live with the consequences, years later, of where it took me. And I am so thankful these prosperity preachers never got to me, because that would have irrevocably destroyed my faith (that I didn't have until about 7 years ago, but I mean, if I had started off with that mess, that would have been a very quick, temporary stint of believing in God, for me.) I was an atheist most of my life, & I can only imagine what it's like to finally change your mind about God, realize He is real, and then have one of these snakes take advantage of your desperation, what that must do to so many people's faith, and understandably so.
And I'm sorry, maybe this is too harsh to say (but I don't think so,) but I really believe that God has a special place in Hell for unrepentant people that would get up there and say the things these 'preachers' say about God, Christ, the Gospel, and take advantage of the most desperate, needy people in the world - for their own selfish gain. It's SO sick.
And I'm glad you'll never back down, you shouldn't. This is evil, & we need as many of us as possible to have the courage to speak the truth about this and so many other issues.

I was grateful for listening to something specific that you spoke about probably a few years ago. I had left the Catholic church and was going to what I believed to be a non denominational church. At least as I understood it. After a while, I realized things didn't feel right. It was then that you talked about there being no such thing as a non denominational church. I didnt get it until then. I realized after 5 YEARS that I was really in a large (for my area) pentecostal church....I did learn a lot in the process and continue to.

When a brother or sister in Christ speak of their testimony of how they came to the Lord, I can relate, because I was also far from God , but His mercy and grace covered me and I answered when Jesus knocked on my heart. Amen! I was also told in 2019 when I had a stroke that I must have done something wrong and someone else told me that someone must have spoke something evil over me! I said that’s HOG WASH! Think about JOB in God’s word! He did not do anything wrong and that is what Jesus reminded me of

I am so grateful for your 3rd Adam series. I personally have never been involved in a church that had been a NAR or Word of Faith cult. However, I have been someone who listened to what I thought was “Christian” music, and because of your series, I’ve been aware of what I listen to. Even now sadly Shane and Shane. I’d like to hear more about “sheikhs” glory. My pastor used it last week and it struck my heart like lightning, and not in a good way mind you. Please share your knowledge and thoughts on that! My mother has been part of a charity in their church for awhile now called “ the go go grandmothers” where she other ladies raise money & have fundraisers & send things to Malawi 🇲🇼 to help the people with food & schools, & learning about God. The people live in less than a dollar a day & a lot of kids are being raised by their grandparents because there parents have died of AIDS 😢

I was born with hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy, and currently work for a WOF/NAR ecumenical Pentecostal (who used to be SBC), and have done so for 5+ years. Despite working for him, the Holy Ghost led me to your channel, where I found my current IFB, only male-pastor church (7 years and counting). You’re so right about these TV preachers. It’s sad that so many are deceived and deceiving. Your Third Adam series sheds incredible light on these jerks and my only prayer is to be delivered from my employer because it’s spiritually and emotionally and financially draining. He does it for “filthy lucre”, and it shows every time he comes to a “mandatory staff” meeting and tries to “speak” for God. Please pray for me.
This is speaking to my heart. I have suffered terribly with a chronic migraine and fibromyalgia for the last 7 years and gut problems mist of my life. I have been to many healing meetings and never been healed. Recently I started to wonder if God is punishing me for not being a "good enough" Christian.
I look at it as sickness bringing you closer to God. It makes you think of eternity
If that were the case, God would punish us all, because none of us are as good as Jesus. In the six years I was a member of a big Word of Faith church, I never saw anybody get healed of anything. And we had many special speakers, even Benny Hinn. I'm an ex-Copelandite. I followed him and the WoF for ten years until the Lord delivered me. Now Mr. Faithman Kenneth Copeland has a pacemaker. Since 1980, I have not seen that man claim any verifiable healings in his ministry, nor in Benny Hinn's. Don't look to men to heal you, look to Jesus. He delivered me from drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes when I prayed to Him to do so a few months before I started following Copeland. He totally set me free, as if I had never done them in my life, no desire for them ever again. That happened at my first church, Baptist. I didn't ask them to pray for me, and no one knew anything about my addictions in the four or five months that I had been a member there. Just trust "Him", Ariana.
But also remember such people as Joni Tada, one of the most beautiful witnesses for Christ for the past five or so decades. And that Timothy, Paul's right-hand man, had "often infirmities" and a "stomach" ailment, whom Paul told to take a little wine as medicine. The Lord wasn't punishing him. If you haven't already done so, you may want to look up your ailments on TH-cam. There is a wealth of help on TH-cam for ailments. You can also find really good books on Amazon. Nutrition, the things you eat and drink, make a world of difference where your health is concerned. One cardiologist found relief for whatever condition he was suffering from in the carnivore diet, so did Jordan Peterson. I have suffered from migraines and gastrointestinal problems since age 12 and almost 25 years ago was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Years later was diagnosed with vasculitis. I went to many healing meetings for years but was never healed. So many times i was told that the reason i was not healed was due to a lack of faith. I became so discouraged and depressed and eventually stopped going to church for several years. Thankful God led me to the church i attend now.
I agree with you, pastor, this word of faith teaching is from the pit of hell! I was in it for over twenty years before God delivered me out of it, praise Him!!! They do need to be called out! Thank you for what you are doing. I somehow came across your video on “Christian Music” and was very enlightened about it. I have since thrown away all the artist’s whom I found on the NAR list. Also thank you for speaking about these so called prosperity ministers. I started watching KCM during Covid lockdown. Needless to say I got sucked into the deception on prosperity and healing. I am a cancer survivor with side effects and thought maybe I could get healed of them. Nothing ever happened. I believed their lies that something was not right in my life that caused myself not to get healed. Same with prosperity. And the fact that I could not get the “speaking in tongues” made me feel terrible. Now I know it wasn’t me. I have watched all 4 of the Third Adam videos and can definitely see all that going on in the world today. Thank you again. God Bless you.

I am a ex NAR ..they prayed for my leg shorter than the other...still not fixed..they prayed 4 times and sometimes for wrong leg ...I walked away and I was accused of being possessed by a lying spirit..PRAISE GOD JESUS helped me. .NAR is a terrible doctrine. From Durban SA

Absolutely on point Brother Spencer. It was the middle of 2020 that I watched the Third Adam series that woke me up to what’s going on with the emotion based me gospel. I shared with my wife and we both were effected greatly. We have been believers since 1998, but as firm in the doctrine as we are now. I’ve got family members who still hold to what I believe is error in understanding the gifts and healing. I Corinthians chapters 12-14 seems clear to me about the unknown tongues movement, which Paul describes essentially as useless gibberish. But I pray their eye of understanding will be open, because I think they are true believers as were in the Corinth Church, but holding to the traditions they of men. Godspeed until next time.

I think it is important to understand that the devil is more a deceiver than a liar. If he told bold faced lies it would be obvious to everyone. Deception goes to great lengths to cover-up and not make itself obvious. Sometimes it only mixes a little evil in with a lot of good. Paul said, " Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?" 1 Corinthians 5:6.

I have had lifelong mental health issues and a lot of childhood trauma. Thank you for saying this. I do know that there are spiritual fruits to my mental health issues and I do the best I can to deal with those however I have always believed that my depression my anxiety and other life challenges that I've had or the result of me not having enough faith. I'm learning again to see that that is not true.

My mother was told the same thing from a Chuck Smith fellowship in Medford Oregon.. my mom died 6 months after being diagnosed with lung cancer. My husband of 30 years got early onset in dementia 06 pastor didn't want to touch it with a pole. We left the church. He's been gone now since 14 .. I have only gone to church maybe 7 times since 2010. .

Teresa, the Lord led me out of the Word of Faith in 89. I was a Copelandite for ten years. I know the seductive power of the Word of Faith, and I also know it is the forbidden fruit in the church of the serpent's "promise" to Eve in the garden, "You shall be as Elohim (gods)." It has robbed and injured so many people and their loved ones. Please don't allow the evil of the ministers of Satan turn your heart away from Jesus or the church. Word of Faith ministers are not a reflection of Jesus, but a deflection of Him. Run to Jesus, for He so loves you. In the middle of night when all seems lone, the stars shine brightly with the moon all aglow, it's God's way of saying to a suffering soul, there is still hope.
I attend a Calvary Chapel near Portland, Oregon, and they teach sound doctrine and are really opposed to the Wof/Nar

The pastor is Jon Courson who is very biblically sound.
We need each other, no time to be a lone ranger Christian.

As a missionary in Ethiopia, I noticed people would go back and forth from one church or belief to another, even from evangelical back to Islam.
Why? Following "the strongest God" measured by a focus on perceived miracles.
When asked: "Are you inherintly good or bad?" They revealed not knowing anything about original sin.
The important message wasn't preached, but following miracles was the trend.
I know exactly what you are referring to in this video and who it is that has said these things. I don't think they meant it in a bad way but I do not agree that you are a heresy hunter. I remember coming out of NAR/WOF churches and many years of some biblical and many non biblical beliefs, and seeing your third Adam 3 video after my brother kept telling me about you. And I can see that what you are teaching is true, and I think God has opened your eyes to these things that many either cannot see, choose not to see, or will slowly start to see.
Though I don't always agree with your views, I have noticed that with time I'm learning and seeing those things you point out. music is a big one, and so called Christian radios, I have stopped listening as I have seen they just put anyone with a "Christian" label on their CD cover without looking at the fruit of their lives. So keep preaching and keep calling out for I know God is using that on your platform.
I have cerebral palsy and was in the NAR also until about 4-5 years ago, I got the there something wrong with you, you must do this to be healed, which was a list that never ended, and also heard the “lack of faith” bit as well. God healing me or not changes nothing. If He does great, if He doesn’t great. I am glad that I am not in that movement anymore either. I too thank you for what you do, I found your channel after watching the American Gospel documentary and digging further in research your channel popped up on my feed once, been watching ever since!
