i studied in makeup school this color correction application but you explain it so much better also i use correction only for very heavy birth marks and very strong discoloration as you said there is no use with the new makeup to even correct regular under eye brown as the concelers are so good
You are the ONLY influencer I've seen do it this way and I must say I appreciate it! I thought something was wrong with me, like I couldn't ever finish blending. This video is so important!! And a great understanding of the color wheel. If you put too much red/pink color corrector on with a foundation that has a yellow undertone, your going to be orange all day, or too much blue corrective with a foundation/concealer that oxidizes too yellow your going to look green all day. So definitely follow this advice!! Love your videos 💖💖💖

I find a very little bit of green primer on the eyelid eliminates the small amount of hooded lid . Plus I Can put a tiny bit of light concealer or makeup for the same effect. Thank you for the demonstration on green primer ! 🦋🤗🦋
I love this video because your technique makes sense! Just this week, I discovered the magic of using color corrector to cancel the dark blue under my eyes. I don't like using a sponge and I believe the Beauty Blender picks up half of the pigment. You make sense about "using a very small amount directly to the dark spot and blend into the skin with your ring finger." I have discovered, it is important to allow the corrector to dry, before moving to the next step. So, I just purchased a tube of medium deep Nars color corrector and the color is perfect. I applied the same way you applied and I am very pleased. Since, my dark areas are under my eyes, I don't feel the need to wear foundation. I was thinking about trying an under eye concealer. Thank you.:-)
Thank you! I'm often guilty of bringing concealer or foundation up to my lower lash line because the pink tone I have there bothered me when I was close to the mirror. Now I can SEE that it makes one's eyes look smaller. That pink tone on pale skin is supposed to be there and looks natural.
Hey Wayne, you are really amazing, and the way you explain the whole concept and technique involved in makeup fundamentals,is just really awesome ,lots of love and huge respect.
This was a wonderful example of how to color correct! I use the CT corrector under my eyes but only in the inner corner where I have blue tint. I don't usually use concealer as that makes it too heavy. I then apply a light to medium coverage foundation with a sponge an bounce it in my skin. It just looks so much better. Your technique here will help me deal with other issues that I have wanted to tackle. Thank you!
I use the peach color corrector but I was applying it like other influencers 🌚. I would notice the peach undertone under my concealer and foundation no matter much I blended I into my skin. I’m trying your technique next!
Thank you, Wayne! I've often thought many were using way too much corrector. Also, thanks for acknowledging the fair people out here. I use pink or lavender corrector, sometimes green. I use fairly small amounts, too.
I've only used color correcting for really redness and pimples etc. Sometimes veins. But ever since I started using them it was just correct and powder over top and it worked like a charm! Colour correcting my dark circles with orange does help because I can never find a good enough concealer. But with that, suddenly any concealer turns salmony and it covers perfectly. Amazing trick you showed that the colour corrector only needs to neutralize not to look green or orange on the skin. I came to that conclusion on my own a while ago after lots of testing and trying...
I used to think the same that how is that easier and may be color correction is meant only for high coverage foundation but now i can begin with my color correction journey thank you for this amazing video ♥️ love from India
Thank you for this video. People are wasting hundreds if dollars a year on a product they don't need just because some influencer said they should. It is ridiculous. I'll keep saying it, TH-cam needs to showcase more beauty Gurus like Wayne; UNPROBLEMATIC, TALENTED & ACTUALLY HERE ONLY FOR THE MAKEUP. 💜
Love this! Especially as its focused on the problem areas instead of putting tons of product on!
Thank you so much for teaching us and making us learn and making us fall in love with makeup even more I love what u do ♥️
Love from india
100% agree with this and I do this technique everyday. Often I don’t even put foundation over the top as once you’ve evened out the colour there’s no need. Good tips as always ❤️
Yes ive always thought that but other influencers made me think I was wrong your amazing love watching you
amazing. when you only concealed up to lash line on one eye I could see how smaller it got! noones ever showed me that before. thank you for your work.
Your technique is amazing. The lesson is less doing more on our face. Since I have panda's eye, I always wearing orange for color corrector. Thanks for ur tips
So simple, so beautiful and so useful for everyday life. For those of us who are not twenty somethings and who don't have ring lights following us everywhere we go, your work is so amazing and actually applicable!! Love watching you!!!! Thanks for all your hard work.
Wayne, always enjoy your tips and videos. Thank you
Colour correcting my dark circles with orange does help because I can never find a good enough concealer.
Wayne, YOU are adorable! This was a wonderful show. You are lucky to know her. Thank you both for sharing.
This msg was about you & Vee. Don't know how that happened.
I wish you would have shown how you’re applying the product on your brush. Thanks for great content always!!
You make me feel so confident in my own skin. Thank you, Wayne.
Thank you for this video. People are wasting hundreds if dollars a year on a product they don't need just because some influencer said they should. It is ridiculous. I use a color corrector but I use a blue green corrector for extreme redness due to eczema. It works just like you explained. I love you tutorials. So to the point and simple. My go to makeup guru.
I’m 21 and when I was in my teens watching beauty gurus they always color corrected. I used to think that I had to do the same as well. Though I realized that I was really in reality not appreciating my natural coloring such as my dark circles and cool undertones. We don’t need to buy excess product in order to be perfectly flawless.
Yet again Wayne is the voice of common sence and professional artistry 😘
Your education has completely changed how I do my makeup. Thank you!
I totally have been missing out on lilac underneath my eyes. Always love your videos.
Pls pls pls teach us how to colour correct a 5 o'clock shadow on light skin
This was so helpful because I was planning on buying a color corrector pallet. Thanks!
