why?
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
To be honest I am not that interested in this V&A but have to say...You're the one talking Pish.. I was born in Dundee, I've grown up and continue to work in Dundee as have my Family, Friends, Neighbours, Colleagues etc. So "they got rid of the old bowling and replaced it with a Aldi’s and they demolished the old Olympia and replaced it with a big grey bland museum" Now the new Olympia is pish cause the hot tub is like pins & needles"...Well boo-fecking-hoo! There was a time when Jute ended in Dundee, Timex fecked off too which left whole Families devastated, broken and destitute and you moan about pins and needles in a hot tub? Have you even thought about why some people (Not just Dundee) would choose drugs over their own reality? You say "Their about to build a women’s prison on the hilltown! They want to integrate them into society, that’s how we have junkies everywhere playing loud music at all hours of the night" Really?? Junkies everywhere playing loud music at all hours cause they're about to build a women's' prison in the hilltown? Stop focusing on crap around you and open your eyes. The view is amazing and goes a lot further than just the end of the street!
Dundee is lovely full of character
If you start by thinking Dundee is a shithole that's what you'll see. Open your eyes and be fair - don't just project your own misery onto everything and everyone else.
Why is Lorraine Kelly always showing up in anything to do with Dundee? There must be money involved. Not only is she not a Dundonian, she has sold her massive house in the wealthy suburb of Broughty Ferry and moved to London to stay.
Of course there’s money involved!
Oh so you are gonna spend billions on nice buildings then through a crap office block and ruin it well done dundee city council.
The idea was to join the city to the river - that means buildings. You can see the museum perfectly well from the High Street down Union Street.
