Hi Kakibot, this is a neat little tour and insight in to Dundee. I would like to add it to my next Scotland trip and now have some ideas about what to see. You are cool, without a doubt - stylish and fun! Cheers

Dundee is great with the seaside suburb of broughty Ferry. it’s a great city to cycle round fantastic also close to really nice other places as in Carnoustie Forfar Brechin and Arbroath all within half an hour from Dundee

Dundee used to be an amazing, bustling place with so much to see and a lovely beach on it's doorstep. The nightlife from one end of town to the other was brilliant too. Now the waterfront looks great but the city centre has died and that's what spoils it but it's definitely worth a visit. Just don't expect much from the centre. Make sure to go up the Law Hill, visit the parks and go down Broughty Ferry and see the beach.

I loved your video on Dundee, I am originally from Dundee and visit there at least once a year as I moved to England in 1989. Every time I visit there is something new! They will be starting bus tours in the summer with festivals and also boat trips along the Tay that will get people very close to dolphins and sea life .. Dundee is the place to visit X

It took me almost 10 years to do this trip (if I don't count stopping by the Starbucks on the outskirts 50 times on my way to Aberdeenshire haha) so... don't feel bad if your list of amazing places seems a bit intimidating! But I definitely recommend it, and can't wait to drag some of my artsy friends back! .) What do you think is your next trip gonna be?

As an artsy peep I think you definitely should! I did see some of my friends being a bit let down by it - but to me I really liked the smaller town vibe and non-claustrophobic feel of being so close to water at all times. Personally I'd love to go back and see more of the area around the University, too!

Really loved Dundee, quirky place beautifully situated at the Tay estuary. 'Daisy Tasker' restaurant in an old industrial building - converted into a hotel - is great for 'Fish & Chips'. Hotels in Dundee are half the price of hotels in St. Andrews which is easy to reach by bus

    • @TheMiniMaestroMan

"quirky"? This regeneration crap holds no benefits to actual locals of Dundee, poverty and drug deaths are still as high as they were years ago. Poorly disguised gentrification can't polish a turd. All the hipster middle-class progressives raising the prices up. Go up to Douglas and Charleston if you want to see what the real Dundee looks like. Don't visit.
