Got this for Christmas and as my first monitor ever I'm actually really enjoying it, only issue I have with it is the fact that the screen faces down towards your desk and you can't reajudymomto anything unless you change the stand holding it up
It took me some time to figure it out, but you actually can change it, try to grab the bottom of the monitor an readjust it (If you have the stand shown in the video)
@@westghost_lvl1 not to sure on what you mean. I tried adjusting the stand and it only faces downwards, maybe explain a bit more or link me a video ~ thanks
@@verxw74 Basically you need to make sure that the stand stays on your desk (You can do that by applying pressure from above and then grab the monitor at the bottom (under the samsung logo) and at the top and turn it in direction you want (Don't use too much force, it's not needed at all, try not to break it) I really tried my best to explain it, but English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if I made some mistakes, I really hope this helps😅
This guy is just blabbering especially his conclusion. Do not listen to his review alone and make a decision! I have this monitor and a Samsung T35F (Flat 24 Inch IPS Display). Although the IPS panel is more color rich, I am particularly inclined towards this CF390. Although it's a VA Panel, I feel Samsung has done a very good job in the backlighting and making the monitor display really good! Watching movies and games feel really natural and you will feel the same omitting the refresh rate part.
Hey, aside from gaming & movies, is this C24F390 good for productivity use like Word editing or photo editing? I saw another review on TH-cam and the guy didn't suggest it for office use.
I’m going to try it, I love Amazon return policy. My old ASUS 24 inch IPS has dirt in the screen and I have my Wii U connect it to it. It does suffer from light bleed but most Nintendo games are bright and colorful. If I don’t like this monitor I’ll return it back.
@@WhatNowTech I am definitely keeping it. Only some platformers with dark backgrounds I see trails but I tried Mario Kart 8 and everything looks beautiful on the Samsung monitor. Very bright monitor if you put it in Game Mode but at least I am playing it near a window during the day so those bright whites wont blind me. Bonk 3 is a good example you see a lot of trailing effects in the background but it doesn't bother me that much.

2:14 Let's talk about backlight bleeding! Are you sure all units come with backlight bleed in this very specific model?

This is definitely a 60 Hertz monitor, but there could be a 120Hz variant.
I know my parents bought it for Christmas and now I think am getting a 69 Hertz even though it says it 120 Hertz it literally fraud if 60hz tho
