This stired a childhood memory of starting this build in a class at primary school about 50 years ago. We got as far as building the wings I think. There were pink blood stains in some of the balsa parts I do remember that detail.

This brings me back lol . I made a balsa spitfire kit when I was a boy , let's just say itwas never going to fly, but I was proud of myself and thought it looked amazing 😂

There's one for sale in Europe, and it comes with the cockpit which has been discontinued. I asked if I could buy the cockpit only as I already have the kit ready to build this summer, but he said no :(
