They weren't done they tried to scam me for $1100. to get a copyright that only costs $125. It was all scam.

Amazon KDP Publishing scammed me for close to 4 thousand dollars. They will not return emails now that they got my money.
Thank you for this video! I had a quick question though. Aren’t coloring books and puzzle books not considered low content because the pages aren’t repeated (each page is different). I’ve published a few coloring books and I never check the “low content” box when publishing because I consider coloring books and puzzle books medium content books.

Clear, Concise, and well thought out. Seems to be focused on low-content books but gives a nod to high-content books. The format is similar to "I am Second" videos - which is very appealing. Easy to listen to, doesn't sound like she has had 20 cups of coffee like many videos. I've never subscribed to any Tube before but I was impressed. My Bride has written over 100 novels and many children's books so I am trying to figure this out and perhaps apply it so that we can break into the Spanish book market as well. I need to go deeper now. Thanks !
I was scammed by Amazon KDP for over $3000 dollars. They knew my book was turned down by Amazon to be on their book list but continued to get more money out of me for promotion and will not give a refund.

Love your videos! I recently published my first children's book and have learned a lot from you! I have a question, My book is for kids approx. 7-10 years old. I have gotten several bad reviews for a particular section of my book over something that was meant as cute and comical was read as sending a bad message. . I didn't write this in a vacuum and prior to publishing no one commented on it but now I'm getting bad reviews. I got a 1 star review saying it was psychologically bad and then another reviewer kind of piggybacked the same comment. I decided to rewrite that section but my question, is it appropriate to post something in the A+ content to address it? e.g. " Newly Updated and improved based on readers comments" . Or should I just weather the storm and hope with the updated version it goes away?

I am sending it to a girl in Fiver to create & also upload to KDP for me as I work full time & don’t have the time sadly to learn all the processes so I created the journal in a word doc & will be sending to the girl on fiver to create with all my instructions. Hi @myfreedomempire I've started making children books for amazon kdp inspired by you. The first books I've made is a board book set of 10 books.
However, I am not getting an option of uploading board books. Is it the same as Hardcover books?
I figured that first I had to upload each book and then add them to a " series of box set"
When I uploaded one of my book's manuscript, it said it needs to be 75 pages. What do I do? Do I put all the books in a single pdf? I even checked the books on amazon that sold box sets like mine. Their page count said 75.
Also, I've seen other board books on amazon that were 2.5×2.5 inches, and mines 4× 3.5 but hardcover books doesn't have those dimensions.

Hello Caroline! I'm about to publish a book on Amazon. I'm a bit stuck with the question either I need to buy ISBN myself and register copyright or it's provided somehow organic during after the uploading of the book on the platform? Thank you in advance, Andrew
Can you put the same paperback on KDP and LuLu at the same time with two different ISBNs? The ISBNs would be the free ones from KDP and LuLu, not ones I purchase myself. I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t find the answer to this. I know you can’t do KDP select if it’s on additional publisher sites. Thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer!!!!

Hi--- I'm not sure if you could help with this but do you know what would cause a book to be live but I don't see the title on amazon at all. I looked through everything even including typing in the specific way I published it and it's not coming up. Also books going from in review back to draft once you've published? You don't pay to publish but there are costs for printing the book once you make a sale.
If you use images and templates in Canva, is it okay to sell the books you created using canva images? Or do we need to make changes before we sell? Ex: Journal's, note pages, etc.
I know it is some months later but yes you cannot use images as they are. They have to, at least, be made to be part of a larger project or image.

No, I just use my Australian bank account. The only marketplace I can't receive funds to my AU account is Brazil but I don't think I've ever made a sale there anyway.
Do you or anyone know if I can just get the ISBN # and have my book printed myself and just sell it on my amazon seller account? I've been selling used and new books on Amazon for years, and many times when the price of the book goes down, they de-activate my listing until I bring my price down to match the lowest. This worries me that they might do that with my book. Anybody know?

So, I apologize if you made a video addressing this, but is there any issue publishing books for differing age groups? What I mean is that, as an artist, I want to publish books of all kinds; some for kids, but then maybe also a scary monster book meant for an older demographic. Those are very differing genres, and should you publish those under one name? Does KDP allow you to have multiple publishing accounts? If it does, is there any issue in regards to taxes with that? You mentioned there are 2 kinds of books. Low content, and high content. How about people that want to use KDP but what about people the reproduce Public Domain books? Do they ever sell? I am curious since they are considered free to download. But would they sell on KDP if they are advertised and marketed and very low cost since the content is free to obtain?

Hello! Thank you! It will depend on how you are having the books printed. If you are printing them through Amazon KDP then you'll do it through a KDP account, if you are having your books printed elsewhere then you would list them under a Seller Central account.

To set up an account it says to write the business type individual or corporation?
If you have a corporation or LLC set up then select Corporation, if not, then select Individual.

Thank you for a video. I was wondering about taxes. I am non US resident. Amazon is taking 30% of earnings, how much is taking US in the name of taxes? Nobody is talking taxes numbers. My native country takes 45% , so I am wondering what will be left for me if I start this escapade. Do I really have to pay it for both countries?? There is no way to do that. They direct deposit the money in your account.
To create the kdp account in the first place, do you need a business (LLC)? Can you change the publishers name after? How does that part work?

KDP is both kindle books which are ebooks and also a print on demand paperback and hardback service.
