Fellow tanky builds, feel free to run stone circles and survival trials: survival is afk mode and stone circles will overlap with each over, which can double or triple the speed of round completion
for safer option, I went for wellspring of creation node instead (monster deal 25% less but more 50% life). it fit my AFK build so well that more life on enemy doesn't matter at all :)
I was thinking about doing the same, my build is pretty tanky, so i don't even need that extra dmg reduction and the ruins is the only thing that is making me fail ultimatums, also, is a Zoomancer, so the chances on monsters really hitting me are low but with the amount of minions i have i must be afk because of the fps drop, i know i won't die even if i stay afk but ruins can still make me lose.
@CrisHermetica this is why I opt to make stacking tanks. Layer upon layer of defense. Only for super afk content like mentioned. Otherwise glass cannons are my goto for bossing most notably mines. And a wonky few other builds for fun like a -99% proj speed agony build.
Damn. Might change my atlas a bit to slot in some harvest for the possible rerolls on catalysts. As well as gotta give inscription farming a try. Divine eldrich altar today gave me enough currency to do at least a few runs to see what I'll get.
Stand your ground is bait node, the tightened arena is a MASSIVE drawback. On round ten it's really really small, to the point where even rank 1 blood aura around the altar bricks your run. It's just not worth taking for the +1 reward counter. Especially if you intend doing 13-rounders.
@@fookinkoont I'll explain, catalyst scarabs are the most expensive part of this strat, firstly, I was just doing ultimatum without that partiular scarab(like 2-3 runs, just to see if I can handle it), then, I decided to use one of two I had in my stash, i choosed inscription farming version of strategy, and in seccond run i managed to get 2x headhunter :D So basically yes, obviously I was using Inscription scarab, but it was my seccond run, running with Catalyst scarab :)

I tried a variation of the high investment strategy, besides the normal catalyst setup I also added horned scarab of awakening (adds imbued map crafting option) + horned scarab of preservation (don't consume the other scarabs), with imbued ritual you get 13 rounds and guaranteed ultimatum with no downside. It was better when the catalysing and preservation scarabs were closer in price but now it may not be worth 40c for 3 rounds added (although the extra rounds will have high tier rewards). Another benefit is if you have spots left you can add another random high cost scarab such as the ambush containment one for the lols. I may have missed it in your video but I'm still wondering if running guaranteed catalysts scarab makes the bribing scarabs useless (aside from xp). Does it increase the chance for a higher rarity catalyst and/or also affect their quantity? Can't find anything concrete on the wiki
max chaos, max spell suppress, max alignment suppress 5k hp, 4k shield, 9k mana, progenesis flask. Im pretty sure only Block builds can do this kind of content, but i haven't tried myself yet.
Doing with LS Slayer very easy, one lose in 80 maps (-20 all res mod that become -40). Mobs dye very fast, i just spam skills and need chose the changeles to not get the stalking ruim (i like do afk) and the cannot gain flasks changes.
I never thinked farm ultimatum until in this league a random one give me a mageblood scription. I can finaly end my build. After that i just farming ultimatum plus something. I find more 1 scription MB that become doubled. But when i started farm hard with the 1div scarab, no more 200% scriptions come, just a bunch of 4 or 8 div. I came to see that video because i thinking in farm that way next league.
Idk if farming ultimatum is worth it or not cause the catalyst scarab is cost too much. Even if using 13 round inscribed, the odd of gaining high tier inscribed is pretty low. Someone made a spread to check the profit and the result is, its 4d/h. Dont get me wrong, i still like ultimatum, but does it really worth to invest a char to easy farm 13 round...
Never seen the spread to be honest by at my test 13r and even 10r inscribed are pretty profitable (not 4D hours ofc) - yesterday i made about 20Div hours running it but I think it was a lucky set tbh.
If you don't get a good inscribe or a lucky corrupted unique 4d an hour is probably accurate tbh. Iive gotta be pushing 800 ultimatums and the inconsistency is what's pushing me to find a new farm ngl
Good video but a few notes i will make here specifically for doing inscribed ultimatum farms: quantity and rarity does not affect the tier of inscribed ultimatum (as stated in video) however map tier (area level) does this means you can do tier 16 maps white if only targeting inscribed ultimatums to make things easier on yourself. Waves completed has zero impact on inscribed ultimatums DO NOT take Stand Your Ground as it will only increase the difficulty of the encounter. As with above, waves completed does not affect tier of inscribed ultiamtums so you dont need to run ultimatum scarab of bribing (unless you are after the 320% exp increase for 2x bribing of course) Grueling Gauntlet will MASSIVELY increase the difficulty of the ultimatums, if you arent built specifically to deal with randomized ultimatums (have block/cb immunity/have good regen AND leech etc...) then do not take it. If you are struggling to survive use Wellspring of Creation over Ruinous Wager, Ruinous Wager in my experience is just not worth the hassle it brings.
Nice tips man! - I honestly don't pick Ruinous Wager myself, but it can be helpful for some people still. Brining is still nice for the exp tho and pretty cheap but could be dropped if necessary. Cheers!

The section where you mentioned that quantity doesn't matter isn't correct. Quantity plays a big role in both strategies in terms of profit. The higher quantity on your maps the more catalysts you will receive. If you use the scarab that converts catalysts to inscribed ultimatums, the higher the quantity of catalysts being converted the higher the chances of receiving a higher tier inscribed ultimatum are. Please don't be baited by misinformation, quantity DOES matter a lot on maps for ultimatums.

I don't have hard evidence on that, thats just my personal take. Either way in terms of white maps, if you can run higher quantity or delirious maps, you should. Even with the nerf to league specific content loot many leagues ago, having higher quant will at least help a little bit in terms of monster drops and gold.
"does not appear to" is a polite way to say it is not affecting it, GGG never commented about it so we need to use "does not appear to" because just community testing is not enough. Talknig about whites - most of the time you jsut rush ultimatum without clearing map - so it should work for this approach, if you are clearing map I would go for 90%+ Quantity. Cheers!

It is still longer than doing Altar tho, but 100% doable. I run circles just fine myself.

last scarab can be Bestiary scarab. Einhar have great buff with 5% life on kill, 5% life regen and 3% life leech.

Ultimatum is kind of hard for a budget but you can look into Fulcrum Chietains for it.
I sold at least two inventories of inscribed ultimatums without knowing about the tiers :(

run easy strat 2 in 3.24 on arakaali build which have ailment immune, 78% suppress, max block, max chaos, 3.5k hp, 800 es.

Don't buy 8d ultimatums for 7d - there's only 1div profit if you succeed.
I was able to sell 4 div ultimatums for more than 4 div multiple times lol. Ppl are bad at match i guess
