Hi everyone! Thank you for watching! This Honey Butter Tallow Buttermilk Soap will be in the shop next week! Be sure to sign up for emails if you are in the US! Also, Figgy Cream Soap is still available for pre-order. www.moriversoap.com
I love your whipped soap sugar scrubs- please make a video about that- I love all your videos so I’m fine with anything you upload. GLAD to have you back
Thank you so much! I will have a couple of different scrub scents coming up at the release this next Wednesday, January 24! I don't have any full length videos but did film a little bit of the piping with my last batches. I haven't looked at the footage yet though.
Beautiful soap I love tallow soap and the colour is lovely and looks so creamy love the honeycomb look on the top.Wish we could smell it through the TV i betcit smells divine 😊xx
I know we're a ways off season-wise for this one, but your lemon rose water sea salt soap was my all time favorite, hands down lol I also haven't found anyone who makes bath bombs or wax melts that I like nearly as much as yours, though I'd only gotten into wax melts partway into last year (I've experimented with a lot of wax melts since and haven't liked any of them as much, though)
Oh that's fun! I had totally forgotten about Lemon Rose Water. I haven't really thought about the salt soaps but I do need to buy some salt in bulk and get back to it! I'm pleased you enjoy the bath bombs and melts too! I will have both with my next release coming up on Wednesday, January 24!
Hi Holly you have inspired me today. My soapjo has been absent for a couple of weeks now but this looks so good I just have to get back in my studio today. After watching your tallow video from a year ago I noticed how precise you are in cutting your mould liner. Would you be able to a quick tutorial on that. To me it’s the 2nd worst part of soaping. Washing the soap making dishes takes top spot lol.
Thank you! I do plan to have Figgy Cream wax melts available at the release next week. I am still building supplies and hopefully Room & Linen Sprays can return next month.
I know it's more of a hassle, but I do love the coffee/sea salt foot scrub soap you made. My feet actually stayed smooth when I had that soap. Maybe a spring thing?
I do have a tallow soap video on the channel from a couple of years ago. Then use honey, milks, and fragrance as desired and following usage rates. Let me know if you want help on anything else. th-cam.com/video/G36cUsMnD80/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! I do prefer a significant tallow base so I like 50-60% I always love cocoa butter and castor so add those in with some olive to help thin it out a bit.
This is cold process soap. So we pour it at trace and then it has to saponify. After 24-48 hours it is ready to unmold and cut and then the bars have to cure for 4-6 weeks at minimum.
I add Brazilian Gold Clay from VoyageurSoapandCandle and a tiny amount of brown natural clay (TKB or anywhere) for a natural "HONEY" color ... comes out amazing.
@@moriversoap so bad i don't like to buy any soap,I'm from Germany.I like a recipe to Do it by my self. Videos can't help if you don't have the amount.

The majority of my soapmaking videos are for people that enjoy them and for my customers to see how I make the soap they purchase. However, I was trying to direct you to a video where a recipe for tallow soap is available. From there, you can take your soapmaking knowledge to figure how much additives to use.
Where did you buy your cutter and mold.if they are made by you can you do a tutorial or do you make and sell, let me know please the soap looks very silky
Thank you! My husband makes the molds. I don't think he will agree to a tutorial. He does a great job, but not really in a position to film a tutorial. The cutters I purchased. You can find links in the video description for both of them.
I do have some tallow videos on the channel with some recipes. It's different from what I use now. I recommend looking up usage rates for additives to determine how much you want to use in the batch size you want to make. It's so fun formulating!

@@moriversoap just the best! I also have a face cream. You should me some Holly. It absorbs immediately into the skin and it’s so moisturizing.
Beautiful!!!! I WANT SMELLAVISION ❣️
That would be awesome! Thank you!
Beautiful soap Holly, I love the simple elegance 🍯
Thank you!
Holly, I absolutely love love this soap! It looks and sounds like pure elegant luxury. Yum
Thank you! It's just the best!
This soaps sounds really nice! I wish I wasn’t allergic to fragrance oils!
My favorite is the triple butter unscented ones!
That's a bummer! I have a lot of unscented soaps in the plans! Banana Buttermilk is on the curing rack for next month.
Love the top and I bet it smells amazing!
It sure does! Thank you Mel!
Great video, Holly. I love that honey clip in the beginning. I can drink it like water. I love honey so much.
Thank you! Honey is oh so good!
I love tallow soap. I bought some from the last release and will buy some more. I'm looking forward to trying this soap.
I'm so glad! Thank you! I made tallow soap for the first time in 2021 or 2022. My sons said "This is the best soap you've ever made!" 😍
I know it's more of a hassle, but I do love the coffee/sea salt foot scrub soap you made. My feet actually stayed smooth when I had that soap. Maybe a spring thing?
Oh! We do need some Coffee Scrubby Soap! That would be fun to make!
That top is dreamy!! 😍😍
It sure is! Thank you!
Hey! Holly, that just looks heavenly 😍 . Looks like u could spread it on hot buttered toast! Thanks as ever.❤
Thank you Sarah!
absolutely gorgeous
Thank you!
Good job Holly! I want some 🌹
Thank you! It will be listed next Wednesday!
I just recently bought the orange essential oil soap. It smells SO incredible. If you made more I would definitely buy it. 🍊☺️
Thank you so much! I was just thinking it may have to come back soon!
Beautiful soap!
Thank you!
I look forward to the return of coffee soaps and whipped scrubs!!

There she is! Can you do a video on the tallow?
Thanks! I just buy already rendered tallow for soapmaking. So I just measure and melt it like my other hard oils.
Looks yummy! May I ask what percentage of tallow you recommend? So happy you’re back! Good luck with your home building journey 🍀

Need Cranberry limeade!! Lol but you knew that already. Oh something champagne would be awesome ...raspberry peach bellini?
Yes! Cranberry Limeade is going to be awesome! I so miss Sonic slushies! Though I guess it's good I moved away because I can't have sugar anymore. 😉
@moriversoap that's why I want the soap so bad lol 3 months ago I had to start doing insulin shots everyday so I can't have the sugar either ❤️
@@mlangelfire268 That's a bummer! That's the time I had to cut it out too. I'm not on insulin yet but I am sure it's coming.
So it is not necessary to cook it longer after it reaches trace? It can be poured right into the mold once it reaches that point?
This is cold process soap. So we pour it at trace and then it has to saponify. After 24-48 hours it is ready to unmold and cut and then the bars have to cure for 4-6 weeks at minimum.
Just found your channel and I’m grade up 😁 I’m still new to soap making and wanted to ask, should I have separate bowls and utensils for soap making?
Thanks! Yep, you need to have dedicated equipment for soapmaking.
@@moriversoap right on! Thanks 😊
I stamp mine with a little bee stamp
I add Brazilian Gold Clay from VoyageurSoapandCandle and a tiny amount of brown natural clay (TKB or anywhere) for a natural "HONEY" color ... comes out amazing.

I would love this, except without the tallow
I will definitely have to make a version in my usual recipe too!

What is tallow please?
Tallow is rendered beef fat. So where lard is from pigs, the tallow is from cows.
How are you melting your oils in prep for soap making?just curious since they are such a volume
I melt them in the pot on the stove.
Wow, that’s some bougie equipment you got!
I just dipping my toe into tallow soap
It's so good!
