Now, I think I know why Ludwig was trapped in Spanish tik-tok hell, it's his time zone from what I can tell a pretty decent number of websites will immediately default to Spanish when they determine you're in Pacific standard time, so I assume tik-tok's lazy ass algorithm detected Pacific standard and immediately assumed you speak Spanish and then just refused to do anything else

It also brought him quite a few Egyptian - Eastern Europe tiktoks. I think it's mostly due to the shear quantity of spanish tiktoks.
It could've also been that his username started with "logang" the lo is "it" in Spanish. So maybe TikTok thought his username was in Spanish so it kept dumping Spanish TikTok on him?

I think the reason it didn't work is because tiktok on pc doesnt work properly, you can't follow anyone, likes don't track etc.

I dead ass watched the stream for 15 minutes and just assumed he was scrolling TikTok with "speed run" as clickbait
This made me realise how tiktok does start off not knowing you. It immediately knew I was from England presumably by location and gave me English tiktoks because unlike the US I guess, pretty much everyone speaks English fluently. Though it also did start me with "congratulations on your SATs" - I'm in the UK where SATs are the exams you do at 6-7 years old and then at 10-11 years old.

It was the constant refresh, it’s like when you open tik tok again it throws you some vids to see what you like and what you don’t and it keeps giving you things you like/watch so the refresh made tik tok think you were just opening it up again and just gave you throwaway videos, if you kept scrolling you most likely would’ve gotten it done

The reason why he was having a hard time was because he was refreshing on videos that he wanted more of. To the algorithm, if you refresh, that means you didn't enjoy the content you were being served and want less of it, not more.

It probably shows this kind of content only to already right-wingers to not trigger any sensitive souls who don't understand economics or how Founding Fathers's fascist principles of freedom work. The reason you get so much spanish is that in my experience, spanish speaking people are notoriously bad at realizing that other languages exist. Like, it is a common occurence to have a meme server on discord, where some guy just insists on posting spanish memes, leaving for a day, then come back to post more spanish memes. Zero interaction, everyone telling them that it is an english server, they just keep going.
I have seen this EXACT sequence play out like 5 times by now, variants of it many more times.

The key to keeping it on a certain page is finding a bunch of videos like you did and re watching them but don’t refresh, keep finding ones you like without refreshing and it does it so much faster
