The back seating during this playthrough looked insane. To me, experiencing the memories out of order and piecing the story together was a major part of the fun. These games are about discovery and I think you rob someone of that if at every turn you get all NO YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THE GAME THIS WAY AND NOT THAT WAY
That’s just how hardcore fans are they want someone new to experience it their way or “the proper way” so they can see someone else’s first time reaction because they themself can’t experience that ever again

Literally any game with a story and/or puzzles is backseated so fucking hard. Chatters really think telling him exactly what to do and where to do it is gonna speed things up.
80% of the time it actively slows everything down cause even if theres only one correct answer in front of you, being told what to do by a backseat gamer makes you want to do exactly the opposite

I love how many different meanings there are for "Tears" in ToTK. There's the homophone "tiers" and there being literal tiers to the kingdom, of Hyrule, sky, ground, and depths. There's "tears" of the kingdom constantly falling from the sky that can fall on top of you and enemies. There's the dragon tears in the geoglyphs that contain memories and I'm sure there's more examples than those that I've missed. Overall I think it was a great name choice for the game.
You can make different meanings out of it, but I’m sure they didn’t think about that too much while making the title, after all the producers and writers etc first language is Japanese

@@dumpster86 I actually do customer support for Nintendo and the Japanese title is the same, at least the Tears of the Kingdom part and the rest is the same just in Katakana. The Japanese branch also works closely with the US branch so I'd be more surprised if they didn't think about it than the more likely that they did.

Its crazy how chat were all like 'get the memories in order and then get the master sword after' when i got the master sword with 0 memories and didn't spoil it for myself at all, then I got like 2 memories and put it together. It's not spoiling anything, it was no different my reaction learning it that way as it would be to having the game drip feed me the clues one by one until revealing the twist explicitly, but it's more fun playing the rest of the game however i want rather than limiting myself to only visit the memories in a specific order

I give some the benefit of the doubt that maybe they got the connection since the sword disappeared to Zelda and the dragon immediately emerged (it seems obvious to me now since I know the ending but at the time I certainly missed it). But I'm certain some of those people knew and spoiled it. People are absolute shit-stains. I usually just hide chat in these kinds of streams tbh because the spoiling and backseating are unbearable.

33:12 Thank you! I have enjoyed playing TOTK, but it’s kinda blown my mind how people are saying it’s so much different than BOTW. The main story is an identical quest - the same four villages with dark magic wreaking havoc. You save them and get a power, restore the village, get a heart, to eventually fight Ganon (dorf). It reminds me of how Pokémon makes identical storylines but everyone gets hype about the new gen Pokémon. I can’t play Pokémon because of that.
Outside the main quests there is a lot to do, but it isn’t always worth much and can feel repetitive. I plan to finish the main storyline and explore side quests, but I don’t think this was a complete revamp of BOTW, I think they’ve kept the same bones of the story and just added more little side quests, which could be worth it but often it isn’t.

I'm not gonna lie... I also just walked across that minecart rail that had a break in it at about 8:00 as well. I also had NO idea that you had to build a bridge to enter Rito Village, I had literally just used the glider to get in.

I did the dragons tears out of order, it mostly doesn't matter too much but i do reccomend watching the sword one last, that shit hits so different if you see zelda draconify and immediately after see the light dragon fly up imo.
Also yeah getting the Master sword before all the dragon's tears does hamper the experience but to each their own, play how you wanna play!
