I came late to sewing after the birth of my granddaughter. You were one of the first sewists I discovered on TH-cam. I continue to return to your channel for your clear, concise tutorials, your engaging manner, the practical projects and because your choice of beautiful fabrics always bring me joy. I do not have a natural affinity for sewing, but I always know that I can reliably complete your objects because of your precise instructions. I do not know why you don't have a million subscribers! I have also purchased many of your books and love those as well! I wish you continued success in all your many endeavors.
Hi Debbie I am a nurse on the covid response team here in Canada, it has been a long long year as we go into yet another wave of covid. When I take a break I relax and de-stress watching your show. I used to sew daily when my daughter was young (over 30 now lol). Your easy going instructions and conversation makes my day. Please continue to add your comments about your dog and daily life as well as the tutorial. Loving it well wishes to you and your family. Donna
Thank you so much Debbie, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing little baggie. It would certainly be really really useful to. I always enjoy watching you create Debbie. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
My wine glass coasters are beautiful! But we're currently in lockdown in New Zealand, so my father in law won't get his just yet. And now I know what my furry niece and nephew are getting for Christmas!
Fabulous. Thank you Debbie. I couldn’t watch you live yesterday I was out of my comfort zone doing a private little craft fair with my makes from your tutorials. I did drop your name a few times, hope your ears weren’t burning. 😊
@@debbieshore people were very kind and loved them all and commented on your teaching and styles for me to have been able to produce what I had in less than a year. Thank you so much ❤️
Just made this but managed to lose 1/2” on height somewhere so cut lining smaller. Beware there are 2 seams to hand sew at the end - 2nd one in the pocket so at lot of turning piece one way and other - 😮💨 I did the eyelet as I’m not sure about pulling bags through the buttonhole - ok if you just need one bag I guess as you can get it ready to pull through. I’d make it bigger if I had the energy to make another. I added elastic as a wrist band too. I need a cup of tea! Cool idea though Debbie - thx
This is timely Debbie, my daughter has a puppy and we always give our pets presents at Christmas too. I am going to make this for Wilma along with a matching harness and lead. Anything for cats coming up? Thanks Debbie, I love it.
Hi Debbie, I only recently discovered your tutorials and have already made and sold several of your kiddies backpacks, and have now made the doggie bag. I love your patterns and presentations! My question is, on the materials listed above you say 2 x lining pieces each measuring 8” x 6”. Why not 8” x 4.5” as with the other pieces? I ended up cutting off the extra 1.5” and still ended up with a perfect bag. Thanks for your great work.
I am going to make a few of these for the PAAWS, (Protecting Animals in Antigua With a Smile) local animal shelter here in Antigua. They are desperate for donations since covid hit and fundraising is so hard
Debbie I am interested to see if you have a pattern of those haunted looking houses that you had on your shelf in June. I saw them while watching a video on the moon shaped cosmetic bag
Found the link. Could someone tell me where you get that narrow one touch fastening tape. I’ve used Velcro but would like to find the narrower version. Many thanks.
At 16:55 you instruct to sew 3 inches along the bottom. Shouldn't it be: leave a three inch turning hole in the bottom of the bag? I'm a 72 year old man that began sewing Covid face masks. I've graduated to bags and love your tutorials.
Thank you Debbie, this will be perfect for puppies walks.

Can I ask what are the measurements for the smaller pouch? We have a new dog and i'm itching to sew something for it!

Is it possible to get the measurements for the small bag. Quite a few others would like to know as well
Wow!

How do you see a list of the measurements of the pattern pieces please
Missed you again I was in so much pain and I was in hospital
Hope you're feeling better now...

Mine was from Amazon...
Do you have instructions for smaller love this idea Thank You
I believe it will be the same instructions, just different dimensions
@@helenbell1715 could you please give me instructions on small doggie bag much appreciated Thank You
@@charlottebarnes6761 The instructions are the same as the large bag.
Smaller will be harder to turn out I’d go Debbie’s size - it’s not that big when done
Could you post the sizes for the smaller bag please. Also what size is the eyelet? Thank you
Big enough to pull bags through at least an inch. I did an inch
At 16:55 you instruct to sew 3 inches along the bottom. Shouldn't it be: leave a three inch turning hole in the bottom of the bag? I'm a 72 year old man that began sewing Covid face masks. I've graduated to bags and love your tutorials.
👏👏👏🍀
How do I find the list of materials and sizes required please?
In the description box under the video...
Skip the phone and carry biscuits or cheese for treats instead. Fill one side, clean up from the other. Lol
What kind of glue stick do you use please,
The glue pen is a Sewline one...
@@debbieshore thank you. I will have to invest in one 🥳
