Her performance on this movie was so natural to me. Sometimes it was just so realistic that I forgot she was actually an actress.
Ms. Krieps is a wondrous actress. She did a phenomenal job as Alma.

She's not a method actor? It seems like she is still Alma! The set story also shows how much it mirrors the film and how she herself was behaving like Alma towards DDL. How disarmingly charming.
Her voice makes her 100x more attractive.
I saw the film three times myself and the interviewer is really correct about what you get each viewing.

Vicky Krieps is lovely, such a delightful actress and so perfect for her role as Alma! English and any language in general is such a clumsy vehicle, to express what when did into words. Hence, this interview does not suffice her brilliant performance in this out-standing film, well done! I would be so honored to meet her someday!!

I understand his statement was slightly flippant, but what you just described is called an opinion.....and in terms of your loquacious response, I only quote George Orwell:
"The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one’s real and one’s declared aims, one turns instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms."
Couldn't disagree more. One of the best interviews I've seen for Phantom Thread so far.
It's because of these questions asked by the interviewer that I got to hear these amazing answers from Vicky, so I really can't understand what's so bad about the interviewer. Very glad to have watched this interview.
