My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife Jeff don’t worry about the tool community. We will all be here when you get back. 🛠️
Thank you phil!!
Being born in the mid 60's and the youngest of 4, I was the step'n fetch, channel changer, beer grabber for Dad. Dad would work on the cars and I would grab tools for him and watch. Mainly worked with a old Herbrand 3/8 socket set in a metal case and a even older set of Herbrand 1/2" drive set that had used while working in a garage(Chillicothe, Ohio) in the late 30's before before joining the 25th ID for WW2. Dads been gone since 2009, but every time i open up my SAE socket drawer, there sits his two old Herbrand sets taking up the front of the drawer and after watching your vid, I just had to go out and give the ratchets a spin test. Thank You and may your wife heal up soon! P.S. That old Herbrand J-10 3/8" double paul ratchet still feels great in the hand.
Thanks for your support brycesen!! and thank you for sharing your memories of your dad!!!
Best wishes to your wife. Praying her surgery goes well and she has a speedy recovery.

The wife is 1st for sure. Gota keep her healthy and hope all goes well. Keep us updated. Great rachet video Jeff. Keep em comin

Positive thoughts and energy to your wife! I used to live in Boston and the doctors and hospitals there are top notch! Maybe you can celebrate a successful surgery and she’ll let you go to The Tool Shed in Waltham!

As for ratchets, I only have 3 in my collection (Craftsman) that I have had for over 30 years but will never let them go. Thanks for another great video!
Thanks Kartman for joining in and your support!!!
That Husky was my 1st ratchet back in 1963! It's still in use. Most of the rest are SK. One from the 1940's, the others from 1970's, 90's & 10's. Plus one 80's MAC, & some Pittsburgh & Titan.
Hi ron you got the Huskey ratchet, damn thats a good one!!!And you have the SKs,nice!! i dont own any MAC yet,you got me 1 up there!!!thanks ron!!!
Thanks, Jeff! Great USA set of ratchets. My thoughts and prayers to you and your wife❤. I knew you had your priorities right -wife first!

Love the older tools.....so hard to give them up for something newer when they still perform solidly.
Hi ronnovak there a great piece of history!!! thanks my friend!!
I hope all goes well with Gail's surgery. You are both in my prayers. Take all the time you need Jeff!
Thank you lieser much appreciated!!!
I have to write a few things. First of all you’re a standup man and husband. Prayers for your wife from me and my wife and kids. This video is like candy for me. Sadly in my work I rarely use any USA made tools. When I need something strong I always reach for my dad’s 1990s era Proto. Feels so solid and I can feel the craftsmanship. Cannot beat true American steel. Great video as always.
Thank you Lucius for your support!! Proto are real nice ratchets my friend, take care!!
Prayers from The Faulk Family in Texas to the wife, you and your family Jeff.
Thank you my friend,much appreciated!!!

Sorry to hear the wifes going through what she is, will be adding yall to our prayers. Good collection of a variety of USA made ratchets. Now you got me thinking how many USA made i got in my box. Just going through my head, I think i have better that 22 for sure, since i have been working on a collection of SK, Blackhawks, and Protos vintage ratchets. The quality of the older ones is crazy good, no matter if it's Snappy or not. I'll get a picture of my American made and email it to ya. Thanks for this video my friend.
Thanks doug for your support!! you got one awesome ratchet collection doug!!!!

I agree need to buy USA.they are better made, and employ Americans. Majority of my tools are USA rachets and wrenches, and sockets
Thanks my friend for joining in!!!
Jeff amazing videos all those ratchets look great. Those 36 tooth craftsman series those things are tanks the only one I have left is a USA made 1/2 inch
Hi Eddie those old craftsman were tanks,no doubt!! thanks Eddie as always!!!
Hey Jeff, I'm very very sorry to hear that. Definitely take care of your wife. I'm not sure about other men but I don't know what I would do without my beloved wife. I know it's a long ride but it's one road straight shot into Boston. I'm sure everything will be fine. Kept up the awesome work and the awesome channel. Thank you for all the videos and information and all the opportunities to win prizes. I appreciate it and I appreciate you and your channel.
Thanks bigc7t for your support, much appreciated!!
We will be here when you get around to us. Hopefully procedures goes smoothly and painless.
Thank you peter!!
Praying your wife gets better! I agree, loved ones before tools. I own some USA made tools; screwdrivers, pry bars, and some sockets but man! I really want some USA made ratchets and wrenches but they are too expensive for me lol
Thanks canary for the get well wishes!! i know USA tools are not Cheap!! the williams ratchets are reasoable, but 36 tooth!! i dont mind that, but some guys hate real low tooth counts!!!
I hope her procedures went well and I hope she gets well soon. I'll keep her in my prayers.
Thank you tom!!! much appreciated!!
Thanks for the look Jeff! All great ratchets. Take care of your Wife and don't worry about the channel
Thank you,i will!!!
Thanks for the vid Jeff, prayers and thoughts for you and your wife. Take care of yourselves and concentrate on what you have going on now with you and yours. This stuff can wait, we’ll wait for you.
Much appreciated rogster!!! you guys have been great!!
As others have said, worry about the channel once everything is good at home. I'm having good thoughts for your wife, wishing her a better result this time around and a speedy recovery. My 40-year-old daughter just moved back in, otherwise, living in Boston, I'd have a room to offer you. 200 Miles is a long haul for multiple trips, at least you'll have it done before the weather is bad. I have a handful of Snap-on ratchets, I hate to give the Snap-on snobs the satisfaction, but I love the hard handle ones, I think they are my preferred ratchets...in most cases. I have enough ratchets, but I think I'm going to get a Matco or 2, ok, possibly 3.
Thanks my friend for the support!! yea i love those Snap On hard handles myself!! the Matco are nice as well!!!
Your collection is awesome Jeff.
Thank you kevin!!!
Damn Jeff, I hate to hear your wife had to have surgery, saying prayers for y’all and your families! God bless you! 🙏🏻
Thank you tim,much appreciated!!!

Buy the way, love youre sayings, take a gander, living in the south all my life you can hear and use these on a daily basis, dont change and wouldnt change it for the world! Do you jeff its what makes the channel interesting!
Thank you David,much appreciated!!!
I don't blame you the Wife should come first hope she recovers and recovers 100%
Thanks larry much appreciated!!
Prayers being sent......
Thank you steve!!!
Many Blessings to you and your wife!!
Thank you Myrrapen!!!
Never handled one of those Matcos I’d Iike to see how they feel. The blue is my favorite color and they seem to be about the same length as the Napa ratchet which is my favorite one at work! Won’t be able to splurge on nice tools unless they’re a need now since I just found out I’m going to be a father. Unexpected pregnancy is what it is so time to tighten those boot laces just a little bit tighter in the morning! I’d also really like a snapon! My Diesel tech buddy has all the high dollar cool stuff so it’s always fun to use his stuff when helping him out. One thing I noticed about his Snapon 1/2 long hard handle ratchet had a really small handle. Seemed like it was for a 3/8 but that’s how he said it came off the truck so I don’t know🤷🏻♂️ also will keep you and your wife in my thoughts! Wife first above all else. Plus you already put out a ton of great content so it will only make the videos more exciting if we have to wait a little😁
Congrats Nick on becoming a father!! yea the Matco are nice!! the snao on hard handles are on the small side!!! thanks my friend for your support!!
Best wishes towards your wife, praying everything turns out well.
I can't believe that with all the ratchets that you have, there are no Mac or Cornwell in there. You're missing out on some fine American made tools, if you like that Tone compact 3/8 I bet you would like Macs version too. Not to mention Snap-on makes the same concept 3/8" drive in 1/4" body in straight, flex, long handled flex and roto-head.
High Roger Mac and Cornwell are on my list, lol!! im not done buying ratchets, lol!! thanks Roger!!
Thanks for your prayers also,Roger much appreciated!!
Jeff always take care of your wife First we will be here don't forget to take care of yourself enjoyed this one you bring back memories thank you keep them coming 👍😎👍
Thank you pieman,much appreciated!!
You take care of your Family first. Everything else comes seconds. Your viewers as well as your tools will be here when you come back. Take care of your Wife, my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you Karim!!!
Prayers for you and your wife. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you chris!!
Great set of ratchets everybody needs a 15 inch non flex 1/2 “ ratchet
Hi tony yea 15 inch,1/2 drive ratchet is good for reach and a little bit more leverage!! thanks tony for joining in!!
Thanks Jeff. Park this channel till the Mrs is better. We'll be here.

Best stamping ever- 'FORGED IN USA'✊️
Worst- MADE IN USA! (with rando global materials n' stuff) 💅lol
Boy i hear ya cblack!! thanks for checking in!!
Great USA 🇺🇸 video. Take care of your wife. Hopes she gets well soon.
Thank you hemi!!
Take care of you and your wife. Direct family first... Your channel family is here for you, but willing to wait. In regard to USA, as long as the product is equal or better and priced competitively buy USA every time. Some manufacturers will produce an inferior product in hopes people will buy because of the USA stamp and that is a shame. Just an opinion. Thanks for what you do.
Thank remfj for your support of the channel!! you got a good point about USA tools!! not all of them are high quality!!!
Let's goo! Back onto ratchets. What is your go to tool kit to take with you on your trips
Hi Krie ill show it,stay tuned!!!
Wish my SK looked as good as yours over time mine has chrome coming off the nerling if how you spell half is flat from miss use hit by hammer was my only 1/2 drive from 1977 til here lately but still works great .
Hope everything goes great with your wife .
Thanks dave for the get well wishes!! yea my SK was bought last year!!
I don’t mind buying USA made tools I just refuse to buy crap-on
Yea snap on is up there!! thanks my friend for joining in!!!
I want to support US but love my Tektons...
Hi comman nothing wrong with Tekton ratchets!!thanks for checking in!!
Family first! Thanks for the update even though we don't need to know! I would be curious why we are missing uploads!

Amen! Sorry to hear about your wife. Hope she is better soon!
Thanks central,much appreciated!!
Like to start off by saying God bless your wife and you I hope she does good now out of all the American you have on the table from USA I've got to say I love that purple Matco that is one that I definitely want to get for my toolbox be safe take care of your wife
Thank you Randy for the get well wishes!! yea the purple MATCO a beauty!!!
It a good practice to search for USA tools when you can and the price is competitive. For instance you need a pair of Tin Snips just search for USA Made Tin Snips and see what's out there........I happen to know Wiss, Midwest & Channellock are all Made In The USA and are competitively priced.......................It's All About Options Guys But Try To Take A Gander At USA And They Could Be In Your House.😂🤣
🛠
Thats good advice bacon!! i love channellocks!! USA is in the HOUSE!!!
I hope things go well for your wife.
Thank you Starship!!
I might well make a response video to this just for the fun of it
Also, wishing your wife well. Hope all improves!
Hi cam thanks for get well wishes for my wife!! im always getting alot of request for USA made tools!!
I’ll take the purple matco. All my hard handle are purple
Hello Ron its been sometime since i last talked to you!! yea i like purple hard handles! hope all is well!!!
Nice collection
Thanks warren for checking in!!!
Hope your wife gets well soon and wishing you both the best xx
Thank you justin!!
I want that new Craftsman USA ratchet will probably be the last one’s made in USA.
i think they only came in tool sets!! no individual units!! thanks key!!!
Take care of your lady and yourself . Those are priorities the Channel and it subscribers will be fine
In regards to buying USA tools it’s a combination of both the manufacturers outsourcing to save a few bucks and consumers buying the foreign made tools to save a few bucks The only way to stop The influx of foreign made products is to tax them crap out of them Then the US made products Are more desirable.
Thanks foxwood for the support much appreciated!! i always get so many request for more USA made tools!!! i buy as many as i can!!!!
Wishing well for your wife, hope she gets better soon.
Thank you scott!!
I don't mind buying USA made tools but it makes it hard when the tool is not as good or just as good as other and cost a hole lot more.
Hi Papa all valid points!! thanks papa!!
Nice!
Speedy recovery to your wife.
Thank you mark!!
yes Jeff you have a bunch of usa made rachets..
Thanks ringo for checking in!!!
Still no WRIGHT ratchets yet I see.
I own a few Taiwanese bit ratchets, but otherwise all my ratchets are American made.
I collect American made 1/4dr ratchets and currently have about 32.
About 12 American made 3/8, and 5 or 6 American made 1/2".
Ratchets are one of the tools where I really only buy American, same goes for screwdrivers.
When I say I really only buy American , I really just mean I don't buy Chinese or Taiwanese.
I'm okay with European and Japanese made tools, I don't actively seek them but am not against buying.
Especially Japanese, because they have some of the coolest most interesting products available today.
If you want a small tool box small tool kit or small tackle box Japan makes what you need.
Hi Tyler sounds like you have a very nice ratchet collection my friend!!! Wright is one i need to get!! thanks for joining in!!
Not all snap on is made in the USA
The 100 tooth snap on rachet was recalled I believe
Yea i heard they had problems with the SO 100 tooth!! thanks for joining in!!
Nice collection 👍
Thank you icemonk!!!
Take a gander..look at this..well wishes to your wife and yourself
Thank you Joey!!
You should grab yourself some Proto Precision 90(same as Mac Axis)
Hi andrew ill put it on the list!!! thank you!!!
I’ve never used a round head ratchet that I actually enjoyed using. My dad has Black Hawk and S-K roundheads. Great tools back in the day but I never liked those ratchets.
Yea there old school ratchets!! i grew up using them so there just great memories for me using them!! still use them at times!!! thanks my friend for sharing what you like and dont!!!
@@jefftovani5535 I grew up using many of those same ratchets. I bought a Craftsman tool set in the 90’s because I was always taught that if you wanted quality tools you could afford, buy Craftsman. It was true at the time. As much as I dislike them now, I do have a soft spot for the old school Craftsman ratchets. I hope everything goes well for your wife. We will look forward to the future videos. Really enjoy your channel!
Best Wishes for your wife. 🙏
Thank you martin!!
I Love them ALL
Thanks scott for taking a gander!!!!
Praying for your wife . USA...USA...USA !
