Something about Hotline Miami rewired my brain. Legit, the colours, story & gameplay triggered something subconsciously in my brain and since then I have looked at life a little more differently than I used to. Anyway, yeah Hotline Miami is fucking great. I replayed them when they released on Switch.
It's definitely got that cool synthwave style all around it, it's a really sweet aesthetic and one that this game is using to make itself stand apart. It's fucking awesome though, that's for certain And yeah! Played them for the first time and I'm hoping to get to review the collection now!
Le Perv is by far my favourite track in both games. It's such an amazingly fitting piece. You know your story is coming to an end and there's nothing you can do except ride out the wave on top of schemes you will never understand.
Specifically at around 3:56, the visual this song always gave me was being chased by a horror villain through a packed night club where everyone is too distracted to notice two people chasing each other within the crowds.
I remember whenever I used to listen to one Hotline Miami 2 song, youtube kept listing more and more songs. So I just went from one to the next without needing to add them to a playlist. I just never completed the 2nd game xD
@@fuelcapgaming5753 The music alone should've been enough to keep me motivated to complete it, but it got pretty hard so I stopped but never continued xD Next time when I will actually 'buy' the two games it's going to see completion.
I 100% recommend reacting to other songs from the Hotline Miami soundtrack. Another banger is The Way Home, by Magic Sword. Plays during the level “Casualties”.
I love that game so hard, but i'm still not passing the police department level😂, And taking advantage of the momentum to let you know that I have a playlist full of metal music from games that you want to take a look at, I'll give you the link😉
"sounds like busting out of a prison" only if he knew...
Ahh, much like Fixions with Mother Russia Bleed doing Black Riders etc :)
But his buddy told him at the beginning so like… he like 100% did know that 😂

Ultrakill made me feel like a crackhead, Hotline Miami made it more calculating or targeted
Yo, I’m so glad you guys did this. Hotline Miami is a synthwave goldmine

Lol it's totally worth completing the game if you can. Its definitely a badass experience with plenty of great music as you probably noticed

Plays during Moving Up. The song from Casualities is the worst in the game imo
@@enigmatic484 Nope. The song during Moving Up, despite being by the same band, Magic Sword, is titled “In the Face of Evil”.

The funny thing is found Carpenter Brut through the Plok Boss Theme, YT music shuffled in the Hardcore Remix, then immediately Roller Mobster.
